Well, I guess it's like in the IT department where I work. The easiest way to improve server stability is by throwing of the users. No users servers running fine
Brandon i am sorry, but its not a connection issue. Its clearly some bug in the client. My best guess would be a memory leak. Everything works fine, except the framerates are dropping to hell.
Although I've only been seeing issues with running STFs, I'll put my results here for you guys.

When I saucer sperate my ody or aquarius, it slowly starts eating my framerate. It also appears to affect others, but not everybody. In a very small sample set it seems to be affecting Nvidia users and not ATI, but it was an extremely small sample size.
You may be looking in the wrong place.
Edit: Preliminary reports are saying turning off engine/sheild/deflector visuals is solving the framerate issue
Edit2: That does appear to work.
I once again match my character. Behold the power of PINK!
ESD seemed a little laggy when I was on about 20 minutes ago. That was after half an ISE run thanks to the queue shoving me into a half finished instance of twits that had lost the optional.
alot of team several times got disconected but I myself screen frose moved real slow
so far on ground noissue as of yet
I think part ot the problem is infected had several issue before patch code updated did not go right
Thanks for this report. I've passed it along so it can be investigated.
For anyone that mentioned they were experiencing lag in this thread, were you in an instance with a ship capable of separating?
Cheers,
Brandon =/\=
Considering the fact that the general consensus is that ship separation systems such as the Aquarius, Hoh'SuS, MVAM, and saucer separations are causing this problem, it might not be a bad idea to post a bulletin (like the ones you used when new spotlights came out pre-S7) warning players not to use this stuff if they have visuals enabled.
Just saying. :P
Infinite possibilities have implications that could not be completely understood if you turned this entire universe into a giant supercomputer.
was just in an STF the game started skipping alot for everyone (FR skips big ones) on the STF team, it got slower and slower until the whole game crashed for all of us in the STF team just now. Yeah. And what's worse is I'll prolly have to wait an hour now because I had to force quit the game which made me a deserter. Thanks.

Can you please provide the following so I can pass it along?
1) The time you were experiencing this issue
2) Results of a Tracert pointed to patchserver.crypticstudios.com (instructions)
3) Nettest results (instructions)

Brandon i am sorry, but its not a connection issue. Its clearly some bug in the client..
agree, my ping is like normal, but had lag 4 times during pvp matches, and all 10 people from match had lags same time, video: http://youtu.be/XOmDdKnlsF8
Yeah since patch i have noticed that when i was in sol near esd the game just grew to a standstill being 1fps or worse. My connection was fine. The game was just eating all my pcs resources for some reason i think tho i didnt really check task manager but the game defo for the first time i have ever seen this became unresponsive. I had to force the task to close in task manager. There was no server issue afaik as well. Maybe its caused by alt and tab i dunno but i noticed this when i alt and tabbed and closed tribble then came back into holodeck and attempted to exit the game on there but when i got there it just went down the crapped in fps. My spec, ive never once experienced slow down in sto its generally always 60fps.
This is a issue brandon, im sure you will get more reports because theres complaints here, complaints ingame chat with my fleet about this. Something has defo happened since the last patch.
I also noticed some stuttering issue with fps responsiveness on tribble as well briefly just before i exited tribble so whats in the holodeck patch might be in the tribble patch too and we dont want this bug getting left for the may update now do we.
Wow. Wheres this increased Stability in last hr alone I've had to restart twice due to game client Freezing. Not cause of PC as PC says it's still running fine & now I been booted from Server in a PvP leaving my teamate in hell. Not good. So much for increased server stability. Seems its gone the other way. Decreased server stability. Why am I paying for this to ahve these issues.
& now I can't even log back in not pleased really aint.
