The Adventure Zone isn't news; it has been on the official release wiki for the last six-plus months. A faction...? Hmm...Interesting. In any case, I am still sticking with what I think is coming. I want Romulans more than anyone alive, trust me on that, but I still don't believe that there is a faction coming in May. I'd love to be proven wrong, but I've learned with MMO's over the last decade and change that you shouldn't get your hopes up too high in regards to what might be coming. At least being a bit of a pessimist has a perk - I'll be surprised and shocked if a faction ends up being the big announcment.
But it won't be a Captain Klaa hair option, will it Dan?

At this point, i don't even care what it is -- I just want to know. I have already flip-flopped more than John Kerry in 2004 over whether or not I think it will be a new faction. Not to mention whether or not a new faction is even a good idea. I have gone through all the stages of grief:
I have Denied the possibility of a Romulan faction.
I have been angry with cryptic for leading me on into a believing in a new faction.
I have bargained by "throwing money at the PC" with little avail.
I have been depressed over the lack of new KDF content.
But now I am ready to accept that it is just a game, and i have been running the same missions for 2 months. Whatever the announcement brings, I look forward to it.
But Cryptic if you give us a Romulan faction, I will change my ways and never complain about your lockboxes again -- I swear.
Jokes aside, I do hope the announcement was worth all the hoopla and such.
My bet, is another Feature Episode series. explaining Sela and the Iconians, with a romulan theme STF thrown in for good measure, possibly rewarding romulan marks.
