Cmon Cryptic WHAT THE FRACK, 1200 out of 7400 Ive been a lifer for almost 1100 days now.What happened to priority Knew this was going to happen sooner or later.
I've played most MMOs that have been released since Everquest in 98 and I cannot remember ever sitting in a queue to log in.
SWTOR had massive queues for the first few weeks. So did some of the other games released around the same time. STO had queues to log in when S7 was released as well.
I can understand logic of login queues. there is nothing wrong with them. But if you ever think of introducing "premium" ways to obey those queues i will simply find another game to spend my money. Nothing makes me more angry than greedy developers calling games free2play when they should be named pay2login.

Actually, this is one of the few 'Gold' perks left for the poor subscribers. 'Gold' accounts are placed ahead of all the 'Silver' accounts in the queue, with only preexisting 'Gold' accounts in front of them...

Not much to say but this. This isnot possible to avoid, In the grand scheme of things STO is a relatively minor mmo, and doesn't have a kabillion servers. Nor can anything be done about people rushing to new content.
Pretty sure if you did, you didn't know what you were getting... It's always been rather clear in every MMO out there that you get priority in the queue, not that you get to avoid the queue completely. The fact that LTS and Gold people are being put in queue simply means that there's that many people playing currently.
I understand what I paid for, sir. Being close to dead last in a queue of over 6000 seems to contradict that, though.

Don't really know why... it's practically unplayable at the moment. I completed the fed mission, despite every zone taking minutes to load, then had to redo the last half of it because the game hadn't caught up to the fact that I'd finished it (except the game knew I'd looted the chest once before already, just not the rest of the mission, lol). Then I waited a nice long time for the mission to actually complete at the esd NPC. I logged when I stopped being able to even change out ship equipment due to lag.
I'm sure it'll be better later, I'll be trying again then. It least the mission was cute, I got a kick out of Denise Crosby in it.

Do you have no clue what a Queue and Priority even mean?
Priority means you're put in the front of the line, behind all the other gold/LTS. Rather at the very end with some 7,000 people in front of you.

This is the exact same reason why I left two other games! I don't play to sit in a queue, I play to play the actual game!
