Was on just long enough to setup my new rep projects before I was kicked out of the game.

No matter, I will be in TOR for the rest of the evening anyways.....

getting DC'd almost every 2 minutes here. guess STO stands for Star Trek Offline.

Also reputation system is broken now, and guessing the shuttle bug is still there.

Rep system isn't broken for everyone. My projects finished just fine and I was able to start new ones.

    Cryptic,

Can your people please do something about these issues. Its really impossible to play with all this problems. Please do something like an emergency patch to fix it. It is not only this as well. Players all over are reporting issues all around the clock. We really want this to get fix as soon as possible.

You would think this might be something they would want to fix. I was able to play for about 10 minutes then got disconnected about 10 times in a row. Time to go do something else.

I am also suffering this disconnecting issue, its ridiculous!!

I`m starting to regret exchanging my hard earn money for this game, which has the worst customer service i have ever experienced. Do they not understand that annoying its players (customers) will eventually turn them away. Stop breaking the game, fix the old bugs before creating new ones!!

    Common sense cost nothing!

If you would read this thread (earlier pages), you'd see that there's been more then one post from cryptic about it.

Yeah, two -- and neither were very helpful.

The first acknowledged the problem, the second acknowledged that they were working on it -- but, what is the problem, why is there a problem, when will the problem be fixed? That info would be helpful.

OK, so here's something that may be useful. In my Logs directory, under GameClient, the ClientServerComm log has:

    121121 17:46:49 16 Client[0 [NOENT]]: GameServer link attempting connect (208.95.184.165:7062).
    121121 17:46:50 17 Client[0 [NOENT]]: GameServer link connected (208.95.184.165:7062).
    121121 18:21:27 31 Client[0 P[2332175@1055689 Marshon@JimGamma]]: GameServer link disconnected (208.95.184.165:7062). Reason: bytes_xferred < 0 from safeRecv in bsdProcessPackets(0:No error) (socket error 0: No error)

Now, although I'm a software engineer and not a network engineer, the line about bytes transferred being less than zero looks really odd!

    Is any of that useful?

That's true, but coming from someone who studies in IT and has 2 brothers in game dev, I can tell you that often these sort of problems are very technically and to put it simply: most people wouldn't understand much of what would be said if they did explain it. Also we (generalizing here) don't like to take time explaining and we'd rather be fixing and simply acknowledge that there's problem and say that we're working on it.
