Well, there is a little matter of them having a small bug I'd like to see corrected before moving to holodeck.
Yeah if there is an issue fix it, so Ill agree with you on that but still.. this uniform for some reason or another has taken sooo long to get onto live.. its gettin silly "my thoughts*

I guess since I've waited this long (since before launch) for the uniform a little longer couldn't really hurt.
Like I said. With all the BS about the hype. they should have been in the C-Store.
the hype and all aside, this should of been a C-Store item from the get-go, would of been covering all the bases, where they had items in the Lock boxes, items in the Lobi Store and items (besides keys) in the C-Store. if you think about it, if the Relativity Uniforms where in the C-Store, it would of given more people incentive to open more Temp. Lock Boxes to get the ships.

Several bugs were found during QA testing, deeming the outfits unfit for public release. And, due to the ramp-up to Season 7, our artists didn't have sufficient work cycles to get those bugs ironed out, as they were engaged with higher priority tasks (like making New Romulus so awesome, for example).
I can't say for certain what the art team's schedule looks like now that Season 7 is in public hands, so I'll shy away from making any promises on timelines for now. But at least I can offer an explanation.

Funny how so many bugs slipped by on the actual PATCH, yet you pushed that to the live server without any problems.
its because they have to go to the 29th century to steal the outfits.. yeah thats why its taken sooo long.. cryptic is trying to fix there time ship at cryptic studios atm.. but the little hamster in the ship isnt really keeping energy levels up as needed.. *couph*

yet another blow to my moral levels there J-Man. not your fault I know. I really hope by the time the uniforms do finally make it in game you'll of decided to make it a C-Store/account wide unlock item for all the heartache and pain.
So, the uniforms needed to be sent to the cleaners to be ironed?
nope they had to steal them from the 29th century.. thats why its taking so long, cryptic is low tech yo.. its gonna take time for them to get to the 29th century...
It's probably best that these are undergoing further QA. I grabbed them off the Lobi store on Tribble, and was really disappointed with them. The top and bottom had different color palettes so you weren't able to truly match the black color, plus the combadge floated in mid air just off the chest. They'll be great once they're brought up to standards, but right now theres no way they should be released.
Ah, ok, so they aren't ready then... still. Here I was starting to think that they were just a side project like: first officer/duty officer, removing off-duty and merging them with uniforms, klingon gameplay, multi-class android BOffs and other great things.

Took three years to impalement the change character (without logging out) option, a nearly fundamental feature of every MMO. I've been a huge supporter of this game from day one when PE announced they where working on it. But my faith is quickly running thin that this game can survive much longer. and as much as I was willing to open a handful of lock boxes every now and then. I have no desire or will to open a single one more, if it's broke but still makes money why fix it, right.
Something I've noticed concerning the Temporal Lock Box and the associated paraphernalia in the Lobi store:
Ultimate Lock Box Prize in the form of the 29th century Wells class Time Ship, with supplemental Aeon class Time shuttle in the Lobi store;
Phaser weapons based off the ones seen wielded by the crew of the U.S.S. Relativity, also 29th century based technology;
And yet, when they got around to offering us up a uniform to compliment all this wonderful 29th century tech, we get...
... the 31st century Time Traveler jumpsuit seen by Crewman Daniels in Enterprise? What.
I mean, I didn't check the forums when the Lock Box and satellite gear was revealed so maybe this was pointed out already, but why didn't we get the 29th century Starfleet uniforms that are actually related to all the time travel tech we got with this lock box?
And frankly, the Time Traveler jumpsuit is kind of lackluster compared to the rather spiffy (in my opinion at least) 29th century uniforms worn by Braxton and Ducane, and the rest of the Relativity crew. Why didn't we get the actual Relativity uniforms?
It's like, you're in the last stretch of a relay race, you're almost there, and you trip yourself on purpose: they gave us everything else, the weapons, the actual class of starship itself, but then choked on the uniform.
It's not so much that I'm complaining, mind you. Just kinda confused as to who's call this was and why they made this particular decision. And to also point out that I'd probably hock up either some cash or some Lobi for an honest-to-Great Bird of the Galaxy 29th century Starfleet uniforms.
Okay, just saw that my post was moved, and it answered my first question well enough.
So now my second question is:
These things are still in QA? It's kinda been 2 months since that video was posted.
I can understand if the team was preoccupied with wrapping up the development of S7. Really, I do. I get stuff like workloads and priorities.
But 2 months? Yeesh. Those uniforms must have been buggy as all get-out in ways we can't understand if we're not on the dev team.

The mills of quality grind slowly at Cryptic . . .
Indeed... Cryptic supposedly doubled their employee roster, but I keep getting this feeling that all but a skeleton crew is working on Neverwinter, and the skeleton is divided between CO and STO...
Thats what kills me, they say they have "doubled" their team and that things will change of this but still a simple uniform bug and its wrecking havoc among them to get it fixed.. no wounder we are still having issues with ships.. clothing must be a bugger to fix :P

Trust me, I've been asking myself and any dev who will hear me out the same question as to why the Crewmen Daniels 31st Century jumpsuit was even ever a focus of this lock box run... it should of been saved for an 31st Century Lockbox... I don't want to say there is a ball of rage welling up inside me, rage is so beneath what I'm feeling at the moment, for once in my entire time with the game ( been around since PE was developing the title ) I'm feeling disappointed and let down, I dropped nearly $100 into keys and opened more boxes than any person in there right mind should have, and the continued passing of the buck on the subject of the 29th Century Uniforms has honestly given me no hope for the future of the game.
I don't mean to be all doom and gloom but when something I had been begging and hoping for, for the three year finally is going to be in game, I guess I just set myself up for it. I would of been better off just selling the keys on the exchange for EC and or not bought them in the first place. and in that moment of shaken faith in the game before the math was done I liquidated all my EDCs, Techs and Salvages for Dt. A move I'm regretting but it's to late now, so no use crying over it right.
It just sucks that the one game/community I use to kind of forget about the troubles of life, ends up depressing me more then life dose. O_o
still like an update from our community rep on this. pls and ty. When are the uni's going to finally be fixed and be in game to get.
Shouldn't be too much longer, but I don't think they'll be in tomorrow's release, unfortunately. We want to get them out to you all, and as you saw from Tribble, they look amazing, but there are a couple pressing issues/ bugs that need to be resolved first/ are taking priority.

It was even said in an interview that it was coming in "2 weeks or so" and that was a month ago.
This uniform, from what I've seen on Tribble (before it was pulled) looked AMAZING!
I've been waiting on the 29th century crew uniform forever because it's always been one of my favorites.
Has it just fallen by the wayside by now?
