I like you sig - although the nacelles are a little bit boxy for my taste the Excel is still one of the most beautiful designs in Star Trek.(I have the retrofit but sadly she has been docked since the oddy 3-pack came out)
Thanks Levi! That was taken over DS9 (the star there is perfect for screengrab opportunities ) and the Damocles is seen there in the 'Veteran' material. I still fly her when I'm on my main but I no longer use that material since the whole 1000-day fiasco - anyway - she looks just as pretty in MACO

Well, so much for me getting to play a bit before class. That's ok though, I used to work in IT so I know all kinds of crazy stuff can happen when your applying a "simple" patch. Good Luck to Cryptic's IT department, hopefully you guys will be able to fix it before I get back from class.
maybe they are only 3 left on Cryptic and only 1 or 2 can.t fix old bugs even from the beginning of game and i wouldn.t be surprised if their salaries are smaller than a chance to stun a borg with a phaser..give them a chance to do what they are trained for to kill bugs just do something else and when u r back on forum see if the thread is "Closed" that means the maintenance is over..

11/1 @ 11:44AM UPDATE: Unfortunately, due to technical difficulties, we've needed to extend our maintenance timeframe. The new ETA for the servers being back up is 2PM PDT (2 hours and 16 minutes from this post). We're hoping to have it up before then, though, and if that ETA changes, we'll update the thread again.
Nice to see that we're getting the usual flurry of posts made by people with barely existent postcounts and who seem to think that Cryptic have done this to smite them personally.

Effectively any gold member should have their billing date pushed back a day since it now is taking 8 hours to do maintanence. I for one am very happy i have not invested any money into this. Its a good game and all, but once you hit 50 it turns into every other game. Farm farm farm. Guess i'll go give Star Wars a try. Look at other MMO companies. WoW does maintanence every tuesday with an announcement in the launcher well before downtime. EvE does maintanence every morning and it lasts 2 hours. This is just poor communication and poor customer service. No different then Xbox putting a piece of TRIBBLE in a box, slapping a year warranty on it and giving the bird to anyone that bought it.
That takes so long and needs multiple extensions to maintenance? I sure don't hope so
Remember WHY they do maintenance - to find and correct server farm hardware issues. it may be that they found some hardware that needs to be replaced/re-configured; and it's taking them longer than expected. Nothing is 100% predictable; ESPECIALLY in IT.

And I am not the one crying about the game being offline.....
Then your boss should fire you. Cause your not working, & have no life outside of STO.

actually 2100 UK time = the same time as before ( UK time is not the same as UTC ) the first post still says the same ETA

Actually 2100 UK time = two hours added on, the first two hours took the time from 1700 GMT to 1900 GMT.
And at the moment, UK time is the same as UTC.
