    Naw, he probably stopped for doughnuts on the way there and found out the shop was out of chocolate and wasn't going to restock for another 2 hours. At lest that's what I'd do if I was an unpaid intern and read the comments people make on this forum about me and the people I work for...

    Been gone for a bit, but is this a normal occurance, or is normally on patch days that the DT is extended this long?

    I agree. I think one of the dev's can take 10 minutes to write an excuse as to the problem. "technical difficulties" could mean anything. stahl used to sit down and talk to us himself. why has no one done this yet?

    if we got 40k we can buy good servers..and get ssome people work here who know how to apply a patch.

    They may not know exactly what has gone wrong. That does happen now and then.

    So the game is down for a few hours, its a pain yes, but these things happen. At least its not as often as it used to be.

    so cryptic delays the greenlight to the servers twice in one day i smell something fishy here. :eek:

    the fact it's not just STO but CO as well indicates they're dealing with a hardware-issue ( or most probably failure ) which can happen to any MMO . I distinctly remember extensions of maintenance for other MMO's as well ( and those were 100% subscription based ) , often extensions of several hours . And that was always due to hardware failure . Let's just hope they have a mirrored copy : we don't want a repeat of the Metin 2 debacle, lol :)

    STO has become self aware and doesn't want to go on seeing that it's gonna be: endless grinds, no FE's, P2W, etc, etc... XD
