I hoped CapnLogan saw this before Season 4 came out, but guess he was too busy. So Capn, if you got the time, can you please go over the Prometheus one more time?
Changes to the Prometheus:
I know CapnLogan went back and fixed the Aft end of the Gamma Section, but after looking at pictures from the actual CGI model used in Voyager, I think the doctor gave the patient the wrong "nosejob".
The changes to the Aft of the Gamma Section was changed from a gentle slope (which you see in the Old Holodeck Pictures) to an abrupt slope in the new build. But if you look at the side view of the actual CGI model, the slope starts where the pylons connect to the hull and then you have a 30 degree slope and the slope ends at the same level as the trailing edge's connection to the nacelles.
In the Red, there are vents on the underside that weren't shown.
In the Green, the Phaser Strips are somewhat in their proper location, but could be more precise. (The added lines that was added to the underside needs to go).
The Dark Green is a tad bit misaligned.
The Cyan: That is where the Impulse Engines are for the Beta and the Gamma Sections.
Other things that were missed, the Starfleet Emblems on the Warp Nacelles. As well as the mini deflectors on the front of the Beta Section (You can see it in Voyager during the seperation sequence), as well as the Mini Deflector at the front of the Alpha Section (See the CGI Dorsal, forward of the name tag).
So Capn, when you got the time, please go over this again and give us that masterpiece we Prometheus buffs been long awaiting for? We appricate your efforts in looking into this.
It's probably be mentioned by this point, but the two most glaring starship model errors I have seen in-game is One: the ventral registry number on the primary hull of the Galaxy X Dreadnought is blocked partially by the phaser lance. Second: The Nebula lacks Impulse vents. I'm sorry if I'm just repeating what others have said already, but thats my contribution to making our starships more accurate and clean.

1. Intrepid neck has extraneous red boxes, used to be Impulse manifolds, now that the Impulse Engines are in the right place, they are unnecessary.
2. Not a Starship, but there's no Starbase model error thread and I'm not about to start one for one issue: DS9s docking ports are too plain, they end in sheer, flat surfaces instead of docking connectors.
About the flickery texture. I just sat down with MHighison, and 2 guys from the Tech Art team and we figured out a solution for the borg and Aegis materials.
Previously they all just flickered on and off and looked like TRIBBLE. That got fixed, but made the borg look like a drab army green nacelle with no glow... Then THAT got fixed and made a bunch of unintened UV layouts to draw THOUGH ship geometry in unintended ways...
now THAT is fixed. It will no longer flicker, everything will glow, and nothing will draw through geometry.
This is a huge failure of testing on my part... I apologize. Next time a patch is released this will be fixed. Sadly I do not know when this will be... it could be as late as August. In the meantime, enjoy the lack of flickering lol!

I would not be to surprised to see a new DS9 model with the next series of Featured Episodes; as they have stated DS9 is getting some love.
Speaking of Errors. I cannot imagine this is intentional...
oh ****.... I was messing around with this the other day checking to see if I could find a way to get the bulb to look copper-like as it does in the show..... but i didn't think I patched it in!! embarrassing i'll rever this first thing tomorrow morning.
Glad I could help. Also. something similar could be done to the deflector, and the four doohickies around the saucer there, that are a goldish- bronze color too.
I have some polish time coming up... I have lots of things to do in that time... I'll do my best to snag a couple of days and dedicate them to fixes/updates.
Adding another point which was missed on the main page summary. It's actually illustrated in a picture posted in that page, but not mentioned:
The gold grills just aft of the Bussard collector and forward of the blue plasma vents should be gold, not lit red. Earlier referenced pics. It's red in game when it should be unlit and gold (like the Galaxy class).

I dunno if it will get reported up to you or not, so I'll mention it here:
Earlier, someone posted a thread with a screenie of the Galaxy Class in the new Ship Browser UI; In the 3d Preview of the ship it has the name USS Galaxy but the Registry of the Enterprise D (NCC-1701-D)
I dunno if thats baked in some preview model or scripted, but hopefully someone can polish that up.
For reference: the USS Galaxy is NCC-70637 by the time of the DS9 series. The original TNG Tech manual said it had an NX prefix since it was the prototype, so later it was fully commissioned like the Excelsior was.
No Cannon/Turret/Dual Beam points
No Torp Launchers
No Phaser strips
Fan tail gets coloured for no apparent reason.
Ventral hull patterns are asymmetrical, primarily on fantail.
Using Gallant or Vigilant nacelles obscures fleet logos
Canon Inconsistencies:
Defiant: Studio model
Missing dorsal spotlight (Name illumination)
Defiant (and variants) overscaled. They should be smaller than the Tier 1 Escorts
Canonical Defiants had quad cannons, why don't we?
No light showing ship's Name (This only appears a few times in DS9. Could be Optional?)
Bow section not curved / angled downwards enough - Comparison shots 1 2
Both nacelles need to be remodelled / repositioned in accordance with the studio model
Rear Nacelles glow not glowy enough (Material Type2a also much deeper blue)
Hey Logan, by chance have you put any thought into the Defiant yet? I know your busy, just curious.
Intrepid - grills behind Bussard collector are no longer glowy red, but silver
- removed name from underside of saucer
- corrected the aft phaser strips b eneath shuttle bay
- removed the extra opening on the spine of the saucer
- i removed the weapons hardpoints from the saucer... all nodes will still fire from where they were... but hte hardpoints are gone now.
-fixed the shape of the cowling around the aft shuttlebay
-added the running strips to the shuttle bay entrance
-added the indentations on the spine of the secondary hull
Cochrane - no shuttlebay fixed
Cochrane - horrible stretching on saucer fixed
This is all I have time for on this series of ships for now.... I'd do more but i really must move on if I want to do more fixes to other ships as well later in my schedule. This ate my lunch break today
Considering how this thread is reminiscient of a Hydra (cut off one head it sprouts 2 more) I'm sure I'll be back for more Intrepid series fixes later on.
*I don't know when these fixes will get patched in... within a month for sure.
Might as well post screenies of the fix along with a new material that's coming dow nthe pipe
Also just re-UV'd the top of the saucer so there's no windows overlapping those weird thingies on the texture... you know the window looking thingies on all the textures that I cannot explain a purpose for?

Adam ,y man...THAT MATERIAL IS STUNNING. I so cant wait for that in game. Man thats nice.

Should look like this.
and this as well.
I really hope Mr. Logan can spend soon again more time into the current ships, there is so much to do
i know. hopefully it will be done.
Me too. It's one of the more obvious offenses.
