No Joke. It's too bad we don't have a GR that can de-canonize things at will anymore.

Perhaps if we ask nice enough, Atari can retcon ST canon for us too :)

sure man, it's why i put them put there. You may not get to keep it long, even the parody defence won't work under the sway of Cryptic's banhammer.

Now if we could get something like that for both Atari and Cryptic in one avatar we'd be set.

This is exactly how I feel. Well said.

Before this, the game was doing okay. Not great but okay. Now? There's no telling. I was going to go ahead and pay for another month, but with a company like this? No way. Absolutely no way.

I dont think this is the last of the shenanigans this company will pull. It wasnt the first either. And it wont be the last. Thankfully, I probably wont be around to be frustrated, outraged, and dissapointed by it.

I don't know about everyone else, but for me, I want a game I'm going to stick with. I want one good game to focus on, one that will not be counted in hours played, but in months. I stayed with EQ for years, up until SWG came out and I was prepared to go for the long haul with SWG, but then the NGE happened and I ended up with WoW, where I stayed for quite some time until AoC. AoC just sucked, only redeemable qualities to AoC were the bouncing TRIBBLE and the blood. After that it was back to WoW, which had become pokemon.

When I signed up for STO, I was prepared to stick with it, even as it was. But why would anyone in their right mind stay with an MMO that plays like a single player game with no replayability when we the customers get peed on and lied to?

Did open beta for LoTRO. Was interesting, but didn't really do it for me. I'm probably gonna see how that DC comic game is when it comes out, and then the new star wars mmo. Although I dread the Star Wars one. The open sandbox and intense crafting of SWG spoiled me rotten, no matter how much I like BioWare, I don't think they'll try and repeat those two things in their game.

All I did was tell them I was unhappy what I felt I had been mislead on (see the video about the advertising an only 2 sec of actual game) The decpetive buisness practices of cryptic an bad marketing ploys along with undelivered pre-order bonus's an late ones an no depth of content or conetn to the games and they hooked me up oh an that I also filed the claim with the AG.
