    Read it now!

There are things that should be done and they are taking care of it .But i would like to see certain things such as/1= A fleet headquarters for fleets that meet a certain amount of fleet members so that everyone that starts up one cant have one only the fleets that will last say have 25 members to have a fleet base./2=inside the fleet windows set it up with a better ranking system in the fleet where for example there are squads and certain members can be put in those squads more structure then the simple fleet ranks you have now./3= Fleet battles against other fleets why cant feds fight feds any where any time the klingons get to./4= Why on gods green earth are the klingons so much better in PvP then the feds its not right even it up ./5= More ships and lvl above rear admiral 5. Some of this stuff will take time but alot of it could be done real easy the one problem i have seen in all mmo's is that the players dont have control over the game where the klingons can take over systems and same for the feds or playable races that would be great begin able to take over a system with groups of other fleets and there members by my side. You have a good game and i enjoy playing it but it is lacking and you can do so much more with it please do.

I appreciated the resposne... hate all those in-game arguments about how good or bad the game is and how no one seems to be listening. Anyone in any business would know that to stay in business you have to listen, and I always knew you were.

I enjoy the game, but I'm also not trying to rush through it either. I actually read the missions, not just hit continue and scan for the direction to travel.

There are a few things I'd like to see added to the game, but I'm more excited at seeing where it will evolve.

    Peace,

I was in OB. I was in the headstart. I am as of this post, a RAdm 1. I am enjoying he frack out of this game. I read everything. I don't mind the "find the sparkly plant in the fog and the rainstorm" (much). ;)

I'm taking my time, enjoying the scenery.

I'm not trying to level up, but it happens.

Which reminds me, I need to level up my Bridge Officers so that I can promote them.

So I guess that I am not playing the game in an efficient manner. I hope that my enjoyment doesn't grief anyone.

Yes its not really that hard of a game and with so many tools to keep your shields and hull up its pretty easy to survive but bad luck happens. I dont want to be punished for dying and having my game slow down because of it. Death penalties are not the cure for fast leveling. More content giving less skill points is. Or increasing the amount of skill points that need to be spent.

Just want to say. Hell yea, STO f-ing rocks.
    1. Ship interiors, it would be so cool to walk around the ships, even just the hallways at first.
    2. I hate when i get engaged by a signal contact, and it takes me to a map; and theirs no enemy "close"to fight. It just says "good job" and the timer!!! I didn't do anything. They engaged me.or they blow me up in a second.
3.more content- maybe star fleet headquarters(San Fransisco), maybe more ship types(models of existing ships(freighters)),
    4. Why do the weapons all look glossy and fancy, all they need is to have different parts. I never seen an episode of star trek (any series)with super fancy weapons, just increase the dmg values of the original mark I and mark II designs.
and leave the old ones for those die hard fancy people.

I'm a real admiral 2. Been playin the game fer a month.
What I want to see is more ships. Perhaps experimental ships with different kinds of defense, weapon and propulsion capabilities. I would like to see more "special" abilities. I'm lovin the photonic fleet!
But definately more ships and advanced experimental ships.
More exclusive missions and more access to areas in deep space for missions, say via worm holes ect.

Another thing, with greater risk, I would like greater rewards.
If I go against say the borg, or some other enemies flagships, defeat a cube or whatever, and I get one of those item things, I would like something better than a shield battery. Maybe something that affords me superior abilities in one area or another, say shields, or transwarp abilities to wherever I want, not just back to the sol system for a certian number of uses then it gives out ect.

I would like "epic opportunities" too. If I'm exploring, maybe I can find one of these superior temporary abilities, a super rare item that would get me some awesome and exclusive upgrades at memory alpha.
Maybe even have a chance to save Earth, by myself, like Kirk did over and over and over and over. Once I do save Earth , or some other epic hero type stuff, I'd either get a ton of energy credits, exclusive upgrades, or my choice of new and experimental ships.
I think there is definately a wow factor as you are flying around and seeing other people's ships. To see something new and exclusive would be cool, to have something new and experimental would be fantastic!

one more thing, perhaps at admiral, the ability to "trade one ship" and with a certain amount of energy credits ect, be able to upgrade to one of those new and advanced exclusive/experimental ships.

im really excited at the idea of ship interiors. we spend so much time trying to aquire bigger and better ships. and we're restricted to the birdge. would be nice to have more life on our ships. interactions. etc. along with those already mentioned. looking forward to the changes!

-on another note. i too greatly agree, penalties for dying should not be implemented. making it harder to advance in rank (ie more skill points required) would be much more suitable. as of right now, it takes too short of time to get from one rank to the other.

    1. "What new playable faction do you want?"

    Romulans!

    2. "What current content would you like to see more of?"

    Romulans! :)

Also I think the option to outfit your crew with "TOS" style phasers would be a nice extra to compliment the TOS uniforms and Connie ships. Maybe a c-store item? I got these cryptic points burnin' a hole in my digital wallet...

PLEASE, give us REALISTIC Bridges and Ship interiors, one at a time is OK - just get 'em out. Same goes for Star Bases. Make it work, make it interactive, make it realistic. And there needs to be more slots on every ship. And PLEASE let us have an option to lock the bars so that commands do not accidentally get lost or moved during a battle. IT IS THE WORST FLAW IN STO! Please fix it.

And we need a better economy - the commissary doesn't get it. We expect a location (perhaps a base or planet) where we can buy, sell, or trade, or auction. A talking AI auctioning items in real time would be the bomb. And it would help the bottom line to hide OEM prices from buyers - paying/charging what you think fair. And please let us make notes/comments for buy/sell and trade/auction histories.

We need more types of missions, more to do, including pirates w/ship(s) (not yet available) Defend/attack Freighter Missions (freighters or convoys would carry valuable cargo that must be defended or destroyed, depending your side - like a PvP but both AI and/or real players attack - You/Team defend. Star base construction, ground base construction, sensor array and mine field placement - You/Team defend, and so forth. Klingons would have similar missions. They would be harder missions suited to higher ranking players.

And WHERE IS "DATA" the android??? Give us "Data."

EVERYBODY GIVE YOUR OPINION TO OUR DEVs HOLLER LOUDLY IF YOU AGREE :))

One thing I would like to see addressed is the apparent inability to log out during ground missions without having to start the mission over. The pve ground action can take a ling time if you're using tactics and it'd be nice to be able to take a step back without losing the progress.

    Other things I'd like include:

More interactivity and free roam of the ships, of course.

Ground fights against the crystalline entity. Good potential for some fun there.

Starfleet HQ in San Fransisco, which should really become the new Federation starting area or at thevery least be a major source of commerce, skills and missions. I mean sooner or later the Vega Colony situation has to be settled, one way or the other.

The ability to send energy creds between characters.

A slightly less 'Tron' feel to the Federation armor. None of these lights-blazing armours would realistically be any use in stealth situations. Same goes for mark 2 and up weapons.

    Outdoors ground pvp maps.

    A less in-your-face communications window.

Skills that improve as you use them, for example a Phaser Rifle skill, Phaser Pistol skill, mel

I hope that the people that have lifetime subscriptions and their opinions carry more weight in the direction of the game than the guys that get a one month subscription that complain loudly in the forums. I wonder if there is a thread about that. I got an inane email a while back that didn't have a place for a valid response. Worthless.

I would like to see Klingon Content. I would like to see the bugs worked out of this stuff before we get a bunch of code with more bugs. Fix it.

Why can't I just go along and land on a planet and kill stuff? That would be fun.

I DO NOT want to see a death penalty. I don't have enough time to play some game where I have to scratch and claw to play. I want to log on play for a couple of hours and have fun.

I think it is hard to make energy credits in this game. I guess I haven't figured that out yet.

When I think about the state of the game, I vacilate back and forth with "well, it is a new game" and "they shouldn't have promoted this stuff to production until it was fixed and they had enough content" I am not thinking that we should be doing their QA testing in game. blah!! My buddy, who also got a lifetime subscription, is talking about blowing off his $200+ and going to play something else. I wonder how many of us are so disappointed that we will just leave and go on...

Noooo. What's with the freaking difficulty slider?!?

That's soo going to kill the game.
If it's to hard... go RPing... or tribble breeding. Do something else.
But to slide it too easy? Come on. The whole game is cake already. Only thing remotely challenging is infected.

I'd rather see a hardcore mode or something like that... Give us HARDER options... with more rewards.

Umm, ok, 300 houdred bucks for a lifetime sub isn't all that great you know in terms of making money for cryptic. After almost two years you will be playing for free while us monthly guys will end up paying more. And if everyone decided yo get a lifetime sub this game would lsoe money in the long run.

I hope a dev or admin see's this. I would really like to see the website arranged better. All this content you are adding is nice but I can't see any pictures of the new bridge packs? I am a person that will not buy extra content unless I see it and deem it worth spending money on. And I thought that it said we would be able to walk around and explore our ships more, and that should not cost extra cause it was part of what you guys said would be in the game from the beginning. I do love this game, but I am not going to start pouring money in on extras if I can not see what I will be getting ahead of time. So can we please get some screen shots of these so called enhancements to bridges and ship skins or whatever this new stuff is. To expect us to just start buying all this and not see it ahead of time is not very professional of cryptic. Thank you.

I now see that you have some pics up of the new stuff in the store, Thank you so much. But remember guys, if you could, have the site updated before the servers come back up it will save alot of complaining on here.

I would like to thank the Devs for the hard work they have done to improve the game. Cheers have a beer. Now time to start thinking and working on the next set of problems. hehe

Two issues I would like to address:

    DP:

I believe that a DP would,if extreme, cause more problems then its worth.

The GAME(notice the caps) is designed, to a larger extent PVP, to kill you. Why punish someone for for dieing if thats what you have as a basic game design.

Lets say we have a simple 1 min debuff , lower resist or can't use powers, and you die at the begining of a PVP match. Well there you are an eazy target and you die again and for your death you get a refresh on your gimp state. So in essence if you die in PVP you could very well be gimped for the whole match.

If you have to have a DP make it a player choice option. On your status sheet have a button to turn it on and off. I bet many of those that want a DP won't keep it on all the time.

Why pay for a game that punishes me if I make a mistake and die or better yet do something perfect and still die.

This is a GAME why have a Death Penalty? Life it self has plenty of penalties. A GAME dosn't need one.

    PVP:

In space it's not an issue to be able to look at your map and see where folks are located. You have sensors running all the time to make sure you don't run into any icebergs or what ever. But in a PVP gound mission this is just LAME. Look right over there is a single Fed/Klingon easy target.

Would it not make more sence that to get a look at the opposing faction you should scan and for maybe 10 second they appear on your map.

Why even have the illusion of hide and seek if they can't realy hide and you don't have to seek to much.

Again Thank You Devs, but please no DP.

Go to Startrekonline HP, navigation bar "Store" -> Cryptic Store. You'll find e.g. "Federation Bridge Pack I: Star Cruiser (200 Cryptic Points)" -> Screenshots: 1 2 3 4

Agreeing somewhat with the previous poster, is something up with the servers tonight? (UK time 8.30-9.30 so far pm)...I've been disconnecte3d repeatedly, and had to swap server proxy a number of times just to log back in - 20 mins later I'm disconnected again.

I guess it's some sort of freak problem caused by lots of people wanting to respec or turn into cookie monsters, or whatever those odd looking new characters happen to be....connections seem pretty poor tonight though....and it took me 2 weeks to get a stable connection minus lag last time a patch went through, so it'd be nice if I didn't have that all over again please...
