I believe the time has come to, once more, bring up the subject of long skirts - or, if one prefers "Skirt - Mid-Ankle' - especially for Klingon characters. If it was good enough for B'Etor, it should be good enough for STO...

While I like my girls to be in the minis, I do have to agree there is a place for long skirts in this game and they should be available.
I've just figured something out - half a 'skant' uniform (longsleeve instead of short, but viable) is already in the game; the Racing top. All we really need is a skirt available to both males and females with a two-and-two (front/back and sides) panel arrangement that lines up with the panels of the Racing top

At the very least, command tunics from the uniform sets in the game (Odyssey, Sierra, etc). Or just a free one? Kirk's command tunic is a C-Store purchase, and I think that's the only one in game.
99 bottles of beer on the wall, 99 bottles of beer...
The original concept art uniforms from Generations, granted with a bit of leeway like having the sleeve stripes as a separate item or tied to the pips so they can be blanked, and the rank insignia combadge from several AU TNG episodes.
There are a number of things I would like to see added to the Klingon side of STO, (Sorry if some of these things have already been posted).
1. Klingon Helmet and gear from Into Darkness. as seen here: and Here:
2. Klingon Gear from Enterprise with the option to roll up the sleeves or remove them as on the Romulan Civilian shirts, as seen here: Here: and Here:
3. The Uniforms worn by Klaa and his first officer, as seen here:
4. The uniforms worn by Chancellor Gorkon in Star Trek VI, as seen Here and Here:
5. More Klingon Cranial Ridges as seen here: here: here: and here:
6. Last thing related to any movie, is jewelry as seen in Into Darkness, like this:
7. A fur sleeved variant of the Bortasqu' uniform would be cool as would a sleeveless variant of the Bortasqu'.
8. The Ability to wear Off Duty headgear with Duty uniforms, This can make for some rather cool looking (in my opinion) Klingon Uniforms, like this:
9. The ability to wear Klingon Academy boots bracers and shoulder pads with the Honor Guard set. Also the ability to wear the Veteran Decorated and the Veteran Decorated Fur shoulder pads with the Honor Guard set.
They can't have anything from Into Darkness. Their license is with CBS and Paramount owns everything from Into Darkness. If you can find something similar from the regular shows or films through Nemesis, even a background prop, that's an alternative.
As for my current request: Krenim features in the tailor. My fleet will have the costume unlock before long for the Krenim uniform and it would be nice to go full Krenim when it happens.
How 'canon' would a uniform need to be for consideration on adding it into the game? I'm thinking of the 'Generations' uniform that was designed, appeared on some of the toys, but never actually made it into the movie (instead we got constant switching between the TNG and VOY pattern uniforms...) because of all the new design elements (which it had because it was meant to bridge the TNG series and AGT uniforms). The rest of the uniform is the standard TNG/DS9/Film uniform, it's the top that I'm really thinking of - double-breasted, black shoulders, division torso, collar and trim of the flap in division color, bands around the wrists...
That is on the deleted scenes and in the background of a couple of shots. They shot Geordi's torture scene first and he actually was wearing that uniform before they stripped his shirt.
My understanding is they decided to cycle in DS9 uniforms to save money and possibly justify making more. The First Contact uniforms were designed with the intent of being handed down to the DS9 cast, whose uniforms were being worn out from being shared with Voyager cast.
I think the uniform Riker wore in First Contact was BOTH the exact same piece of clothing Sisko wore and Chakotay as well. There was a lot of costume sharing going on and they'd write off costumes in one show's budget and then use it another.
A lot of TOS stuff came from other shows and went TO other shows. Mork's jumpsuit was a modified TOS costume, used for Colonel Green in TOS.
Norway and Yeager dammit... I still want my Typhoon and Jupiter though. JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.

'...I can tell you that we're not in the military and that we intend no harm to the whales.' Kirk: The Voyage Home
'Starfleet is not a military organisation. Its purpose is exploration.' Picard: Peak Performance
'This is clearly a military operation. Is that what we are now? Because I thought we were explorers!' Scotty: Into Darkness
'...The Federation. Starfleet. We're not a military agency.' Scotty: Beyond
'I'm not a soldier anymore. I'm an engineer.' Miles O'Brien: Empok Nor
'...Starfleet could use you... It's a peacekeeping and humanitarian armada...' Admiral Pike: Star Trek
Especially since we now have both the Pilot specialization and Pilot Escorts, could we get some kind of Pilot's wings for our Captains and BOffs? Maybe variants on the 'standard' Starfleet arrowhead or Klingon tri-point with wings spread out to the side?

AMEN! This is a good idea. Each of the specializations should have it's insignia available as a medal or patch. As long as they do not make them use the same spot as combadge, rank or fleet patch,

I say let them use the right shoulder for Specialization the left for Fleet (as the left is currently fleet) on Starfleet Uniforms. Klingons should be pinned to a sash, and Romulans could be done on the Fleet Admiral Sashes they wear, as pins or embossment into the fabric.
Anyone mentioned the Romulan Nemesis uniform? It's similar to what we have already, but a bit different. No massive shoulder pads and some nice decorative flair.
My Romulans are waiting for this since they have been created.
Also the late TNG, DS9 Admirals Uniform would be a nice addition.
The thing with expanding it to all specialisations that wings have pretty much been used to designate pilots, paratroops, glidertroops or other air-based operations ever since those Wright boys goofed off instead of fixing bicycles... but how would 'Intelligence' and 'Command' specialisations be designated?

I would like the Reman Senate robes that are in the foundry to be made available for players...
Good point - why aren't these available from the embassy tailor?
Also, take a good look at the Iccobar envoy from 'Midnight'. He is wearing a half-balaclava of the sort made famous by old-school Cobra troops and Eurocorp agents in Syndicate (Wars) - the latter can be pretty well-approximated with a mix of Vaadwaur and Kobali costume pieces, as seen here. One has to ask, why isn't this an available option for players as well?
Well this is another one I would like to see, the ENT era MACO uniforms. They appear to be very similar yto the regular ENT era uniforms just a reskinning. Any chance we might get this option?
I have at least one captain that would like to be able to use the cammo version from here.

Oooh, hello! My Reman would love those!
Also, I would like to request again a Cardassian uniform, preferably including the option to strip it down to just the canon look without all the ostentatious, view-obstructing bling the True Way so stupidly added to it. This would be a very opportune time, with the Cardassian arc revamp, to put that in game.

I like that the Mirror Sierra uniform has shorts... those would be the first actual shorts for players if we got the Mirror Sierra uniforms, wouldn't they?

They could use the icons they already designed.
Command
Commando
Intelligence
Pilot
Some com badges, for all factions, made out of those would be freakin' sweet.

I also hope there is a hotpants option for the KDF as well. Kahless knows they could use some more uniform options.
Chalk up another vote for the Enterprise MACO outfit, as well as some new hairstyles! Such a large portion of the existing ones are just so awkward looking. Perhaps physics based hair would go a long way in breathing life into ponytails and shoulder-length hair as well.

Yes this!

Shiny leather options for Klingons.
'Battle-damaged' armour pieces for Klingons (who aren't afraid to show they been through a Year of Hell and back!).

Edit: The Star Trek Database really needs a section for different uniforms/costumes from the show.
Yeah that's called the "skant" - I know others have asked for it before.
