If your fleet doesn't have anything going on this weekend, it might be time to give ours a try. There's always something going on with the UFP!

Gal, I think the key is recruiting enough active players so there will always be people on when you sign on. As large as we are, we're still not there but we're working on it.

A good Klingon would never admit this but I was so traumatized today my ISP went down at 11:30 my time and just came back up at about 4pm, my cell phone is broke and no new one till tomorrow, and the hotspots near my house all run on my ISPs business services. I was literally cut off from the world. I may never recover from this.

Wow, Gal, you would never have survived at a job I had once with no television, no computer, no cell phone and at least half the time no electricity because I was packing people into the wilderness for a week at a time.

It's good to get away every once in a while... but sudden unexpected cold turkey is usually not preferable lol :p

It is funny how we become dependent on technology. I laugh at myself sometimes being a technoholic now and I was born and raised on a cattle ranch in the middle of nowhere in Nevada, we even had to generate our own power. The stories I could tell.

Yes, I agree. I wondered how I would handle not having all of the tech gear during the couple of years I was roaming the west, but to be honest, I didn't miss it. Of course, when I reached civilization, I immediately immersed myself once again.
