Just bought my Collectors on Amazon for $9, so I am planning on applying, haven't played since open beta. Is there anyone that would not mind point new players in the right direction? :)

    Hey Osprey

I'm sure there'd be plenty of guys available to help you get back into things. Our forums are also quite a handy hub of information, or to ask questions. Whether you've got a mic or not, TeamSpeak is also a great way to grab our guys online, as it's an act communications element in UFP.
    See you in-game :)

I missed out on this one, but I am planning to run some of our fleet members through again as well as Khitomer accord, Now that I have completed it and have an understanding of how to pass it.

I'm kind of curious myself. Gotta finish The Cure though first, hoping to reorganise a date soon for TaskForce Omega.

/sigh I still need to do Infected! I always seem to be busy or the runs start a little too late for me mid week as I have to get an early start in the mornings for work!

You should try scheduling one for when you know your going to be free. You might get some people signing up for it or you may find people on who just have nothing else to do at the moment who can join you.

Yea Tallaris is right, even though there are a number of scheduled events for Infected, I do see a fair amount of on the fly Infected and The Cure events going on too. At least there are more experienced people out there, if you're looking for a silver lining :)

The cure was funner than infected, I just hope this is a pattern emerging :p

The Cure did have a difficult aspect at the (officially) third shield generator which is especially challenging at Vice Admiral but Taskforce Omega got through. I think it was because of the more varying terrain that it felt better than Infected too. Simply going round the Starbase in a circle felt as though we weren't going anywhere. :p

That's a good point, hadn't thought of it that way. Plus I got the feeling we did a lot more useless running in Infected, in spite of the fact that The Cure has some poor respawn placements too.

Well I think that's primarily down to certain bugs, for example we had certain re-spawn points that didn't work and some times the beams of the transmitters didn't show up on screen.

I hope they fix the STF's soon, although we're getting real good at infected, the Cure still takes way to long to complete.
