Any particular reason you're only able to EVER patch during U.S. primetime playing hours?

Hmm there's a TNG mini-marathon on "SyFy"... I suspect it is all a part of an elaborate conspiracy to get people to actually *watch* the syfy channel...

Is anyone else getting an "Acount Error: Please Contact Billing Support" msg when they login to the launcher?!
I have no idea if this is just cause the server's down or if something is actually wrong? I was playing right up until they brought it down

Pick pretty much any Vermont micro and you've got a winner.

This man knows what he's talking about.

God, I love living 5 minutes from the Magic Hat and Switchback breweries...

That is just way too funny! I spit my beer all over my screen! Now I have to go get another beer and clean my screen.

There are PLENTY of awesome American microbrews. The big domestics are literally close to water.

Here's my list of decent American beers:

    Fat Tire at #1

    Blue Moon
Big Boss Bad Penny Brown Ale
    Rogue Dead Guy Ale
    Red Oak
    Otter Creek Stovepipe
    Dogfish Head Rasion Detre

    there's soooo many....

Just so you know, Blue Moon is made by the Molson brewing company, who also makes Coors.

Yesssss, I know... I was stipulating the poor American beers are the domestic brands... Personally, I prefer this honey brew that I tried at a Microbrewery in Anchorage, AK. Cant remember the name, but it went really well with Halibut.

OK, I see both sides, yes it is beta, we are playing (or not) for free. BUT:

When Cryptic Devs don't get a real stress test because they have no clue when prime time in a major subscriber area is AND the servers crash at 7:00 pm PST AFTER launch cause they are morons; don't say you are sorrty, and ask for patience. I will have none.

Do your damn maintenance in low times, I don't care where you are. It's simple, your server gives you logs of accesses, count em. Schedule stuff when the numbers are the smallest, my tribble can figure that out.

If the answer was yes and they gave you a 1000-word disertation on why, would you be happy?

I think I am going to give up on expecting people to realize we're still in beta; we are not paying for anything right now; and the more it's fixed now the less downtime we have when it's live.

1000 words is hardly a dissertation.

    Lurning iz gud.

    Gogo Gadget-Servers!

Being born in Vermont, this is true, because when you're stuck in your house behind 20 foot snow drifts, there's not much to do but brew some brew.

    ...and ski.

...and listen to the grateful dead.

I want to first say that you're going to have to almost deliberately TRIBBLE up in order for me not to play out my lifetime subscription. I wish I could threaten to quit if you don't do what I say, but I love this game, and I'm happy to just play what I've been able to so far.

That being said, please Devs. Please. For the love of all you hold sacred, please switch up these daily maintenance times! I work until 6pm PST, and don't get home until after 7pm PST. I have to go to bed no later than 11 so I can wake up and grind through another day of my 21st century boredom. I have a brief, very brief 4 hours of play time each weekday. Since the open beta started, basically every weeknight has seen the servers taken down for maintenance from 7pm till anywhere between 9 and midnight.

    A) I assumed these were unforeseeable emergencies last week. This week it's happened again, and I can only now assume that you know you'll be taking things down during this time, and could theoretically do it at other times in the day.

    B) I really don't imagine my schedule is all that weird for West Coaster, as few places on the West Coast don't involve an hour long commute.

Therefore, C) You have probably left thousands of us West Coasters unable to play during weekdays.

So if these maintenance breaks are foreseeable, can't you please switch it up a little? Earlier some days? Later some days? I'm dying here!

I love the game. I love all the changes to the game I've seen so far. I have pre-ordered the game. I will be buying a lifetime subscription. You have me. I'm just begging you for at least one weeknight a week where my entire play time is not taken up with server maintenance. Please let another time zone take the hit tomorrow. And Monday.

    Thank you.

Yes but want kind of vodka? I prefer Kettel One. Also, regular olives or blue cheese?

One of the best Vodka's, IMHO, comes right out of your state!

Tito's Vodka, out of Austin, is an excellent vodka.

I also like Ciroc and the Goose.

    I'll skip the olives, tho.

Actually, I see Bones down there with his tricorder trying to restart the servers screaming, "Jim, I'm a doctor, not a miracle worker!" :D
