    Maybe its an Emergency Brief?

I think several posters here are having an emergency in their briefs over the maintenance.

If they wanted to do that, they could just stop showing Ghost Hunters and ECW wrestling.

It is more likely that they are trying to not compete with their sister (yes sister, they are both owned by NBC Universal) network, USA, during the mid-season premier of Burn Notice.

    /drinks a Hiney

WOW! You're in Texas and driking Hiney?? Must cost a fortune to get it shipped to you. I thought only us here in Upstate NY had access to Hiney Wine; the wine that comes in a can. It's made by the Hiney Winery in Paris, NY. So does your Hiney have dimples?

    :D

I agree... Go CANES... an even more unfortunate Oil Fan here. :)

I live in Van, but hate the nucks... Go Stars!

COOL! I went to the Stars Foundation fund raiser Tuesday night and had an absolute blast! Met all the players, etc.

Steve Ott is just such a great player and person off the ice.

If this is set up like Eve Online , with just one shard that everyone in the world plays on , then complaining about being down during primtime is ridiculous . If it is primetime in YOUR zone , then it is the wee hours of the mourning for some other zone . They are most likely synchronizing it so that the downtime happens when techs from both the EU and the US are able to have a window to function in .

I'm actually glad to see that they are getting things taken care of as quickly as they can , rather than try to wait for a time that is "OK" for one time zone or another . We would all hate it in the US if they made the decision that all downtimes occured on EU schedule to last between 8 and 10 PM CST every day . Well I would at least !
    :D

    Just start the pre-order now.

I can do without the other perks to start early... for the... early start.

OK, I see both sides, yes it is beta, we are playing (or not) for free. BUT:

When Cryptic Devs don't get a real stress test because they have no clue when prime time in a major subscriber area is AND the servers crash at 7:00 pm PST AFTER launch cause they are morons; don't say you are sorrty, and ask for patience. I will have none.

Do your damn maintenance in low times, I don't care where you are. It's simple, your server gives you logs of accesses, count em. Schedule stuff when the numbers are the smallest, my tribble can figure that out.

I only read some of these posts but they're pretty damn funny.

Well, I figured I'd do something productive with the time the servers were down, so I did my income taxes. Hoping the server comes back up before I think of something else I really should be doing. ;)
