The game is pretty well polished. Once they fix some of the bugs, perhaps add more content to the turtoual. I think this game will turn out great. I wanted to smack myself silly when I realized bridge officer points was only a single pool for all my bridge officers. Opposed to each officer earning his/her own points. Not a big deal, Just glad I made that mistake in beta opposed to release.
Many of the people complaining about mainenance during beta, at whatever time it happens, will be the same ones complaining that they are paying for beta after release.
As for me, if they find things to fix and have the staff who can fix it at work and able to do so, then they should do it whenever possible. If they keep putting off maintenance of issues to accommodate the convenience of play time then they fall that much further behind schedule.
Thank you devs for being on top of whatever and whenever. I would like to log in too, but I'm more concerned with the final product than the convenience of playing at this moment.
Sadly I have First Contact on a DVD and a copy on a shared drive but I'm watching it edited on SyFy with commercial breaks, mainly to help pass this waiting time.

HAHA, I didn't realize my ability screen scrolled, so most of the ability points i spent on myself for my ship were only in what you could see without scrolling. Sure glad i did that in beta :eek:
Yes its a Beta. But heres a tip. You want a stress test? Don't take the beta offline during what is the peak playtime for most individuals. How do we stress it then?
I do play to test. I report every bug I find. I can't find a single one trolling the forums though. You want testers? Have to make the game available. Can't test when we are at work or asleep.
Plus, they better get into the habit of patching not during peak hours. Someone said "No one is volunteering to come in at 4am" or something else equally stupid involving 4am. Well again, I point to live... What are you going to do then.
This is a legitimate complaint. Want testers, have the dam game up and able to be tested.
