    eve you are only floating in space for 30 mins, then you are removed from the local cluster. also you are warped 1 million km away from your last position (if you have not been warp scrambled) so people have to probe you position to find you, thus you are quite safe to log offski in space on EVE.

    I am SenshiBat and i hope to enjoy and share many tales of adveture here..
    As I ahve in the yahoo General War Forum
    and on our many interations of private boards in the EAW glory days.
    during my tenure with the PGC Romulan Fleet
    Which i served in the capacity of ajitatour.. Squadron Commander and TF Commander invading Gorn and Federation space
    when not enguaged in conquest of ISC areas.. I tend to train my crew in all manour of honourable duels with 9th Fleet and Mirak Senior commanders.
    To the Glory of Praetor Beaver and Vice Chairman Forest..

    I have been playing MMORPG's since circa 1995 (The Realm). Played most of the subscriptons ... ie Everquest , Ulitma Online, Everquest 2, Horizons, Pirates of the Caribbean, Dark Age of Camelot, World of Warcraft, Vangaurd, StarWars, Age of Conan ... and a couple of others I can't remember the names of. I have to say Star Trek Online has got to be my most anticipated game. I started watching Star Trek (with my mom) when I was around 9 years old and have been totally faithful to the IP since. I am so excited about this MMORPG!

    I just want to repeat what so many have already said. Thanks Cryptic ! As My profile notes, I'm a Trekker from way back,and I've been hopeing for a lot of Years for a game that from all I've seen and read so far appears nothing short of Fantastic,and a great bunch of fellow fans.

    This game looks very promising. No more killing rats over and over...

    unless they are space rats that are causing a problem with the space/time continuum and resonate a harmonic that interferes with Federation starship warp engines...that could cause a problem

    Space rats I can deal with but if we come across a Space Herpie I'm getting off. ;)

    As long as there is no grinding in STO. No grinding of any kind, ever, in STO.

    So looking forward to this game. It sounds like it will not compare to any other startrek game released before! A startrek MMO is just going to be awesome, It's what i've always dreamt of, great work so far Cryptic and I loved the gameplay trailer, really looks beautiful!
