On behalf of everyone here at Cryptic, I'd like to welcome everyone to Star Trek Online!

The countdown has ended and the wait is over! We are happy that you have chosen to join our community and look forward to getting to know all of you during your stay with us.

Here are a few helpful hints that will make your forum experience better:

1) Use the Search tool. Before creating a new thread, take a minute to see if someone else has started a discussion about your topic to which you can add your contribution.

2) Keep an eye out for Developer posts. Posts from Devs will be clearly marked and you can also use the Dev Tracker to keep tabs on us. Along with the hint above, many of your questions could be answered with a few mouse clicks.

3 Please read the Forum Guidelines. It's important that you do so in order to maintain a fun and friendly atmosphere for everyone who visits.

4) We are here for you! Don't hesitate to ask us questions, offer suggestions and give us your feedback. We will do our best to answer what we can and love to hear from you.

    Happy to be here! It's already looking like an improvement over what we'd had before(no offense to the guys at Perpetual who WEREN'T responsible for what went wrong, of course). Does this mean Cryptic might need people who sort-of-specialize in starship models? :D:D:D

    I'm glad to see Cryptic pick it up after all. If anyone's going to do this game justice(and come anywhere NEAR the kind of ideal I'm hoping towards for it), Cryptic is that studio, I'm certain of it.

    Thanks for the welcome.. I would love to be considered for any Beta testing that you are doing for this game..

    I am glad to see how you have saved a wonderful asset to the Star Trek Community..

    Hey there,

    As you might have seen, the ST community was already a big community, waiting for you guys to come online. And the best part of it... we were waiting together, whilst listening to the Hailing Frequency Live Podcast....

    So on behalf of the community on our side we would like to welcome you guys to our group of friends, and we all hope that we'll have a blast of a time!

    I already love this game. Those screenshots that you posted were :eek::D amazing and absolutely glorious. Just in the few seconds that this site has been up I can already tell that this game will come out. Possibly sooner than we had hoped. Especially if you're going to go and show off in-game video just 10 days after announcing that you're making it. :D

    Thank You for having an ofical website, and I wish you all the best with making this MMO. You can count on me being very active on these boards, and I hope a few of my ideas will help to posh this game along. :)

    This is just awesome. I have only heard good things about Cryptic and how they approach it's communities. I'm looking forward to the gameplay at the Trek Conn, the screenshots are awesome and have just wet my apatite :)

    Major kudos to all of you for putting in the effort to have a stellar community website and some kick-awesome screenshots ready for us. I think I'm going to like Cryptic. :)

    I can't wait until this is finally released. I already have a fleet forming logic suggests this will be fun.

    I must say Cryptic was ready for the sites launch with the forums filling fast and a few screenshots plus the announcement ofa gameplay trailer coming, seems to me they have learnt from PE's mistakes about announcing things early or promising what couldnt be delivered.

    Thank you for the welcome Cryptic......We are so excited about this you can't imagine....screenshots are mahvelous and so is the fact that you will have shipboard play as well.

    Congratulations on securing what is the greatest license you can have.

    I can only say, thank you cryptic studios for taking over this project, I've followed the development of star trek online from the beginning and my hope for star trek online was almost gone.
    I'm gonna raise up a glass of best whiskey I have for you guys and for the future of Star Trek.

    I hope this game will be a huge success, for all our sakes!

    PS: The website looks great. Really cathes my eye, as well as the screenshots!

    Hi all,

    I just want to say i'm verry glad that the game is back in business. I was fearing that i had to play bridge commander (in my opnion the best game till know) till i was to old to press keys on my keyboard (if those even exist by then :P). I can't wait to play the game!
