I am old timer, scifi geek, technonerd, and a gastroenterologist. I certainly go where no man has gone before. As a gamer of both MMORPG and console games I have experience in the MMO world and multiple universes such as seen in Mass Effect, HALO, and Quake. This game appears to be unique in scope and appeal judging by all the hoopla. Statrek people are some of the best and most passionate scfi and gaming people. I look forward to this new universe. I am practicing my creature creation on SPORE and MMORPG on Conan. If anyone needs a ships doctor let me know.
Everyone's going to need a doctor... just don't ask me to bend over for you.
Hey everybody! Glad to make it here. I've been a SWG and Eve Online addict since SWG's release in 2003. Now I'm anticipating going where no one has gone before. I heard about Star Trek a long time ago while browsing MMORPG.com but then it disappeared and I didn't hear anything again about it until a few days ago. So now I'm here for the duration waiting with baited breath along with the rest of you. 3 years will go by in no time, and it'll be that much sweeter when the game is finished... er... I mean released
Anyhow... May the Force be wi... oops, wrong game... uh , I mean... Live long and Prosper
BTW for any who might be curious.. Meyhem is an old AD&D character of mine from way back, during my tabletop gaming days. And if you don't recognize the photo, that's Electric Mayhem. Animal's band from the Muppets.
I own a computer store, so I have access to a variety of hardware for testing.
While I can't live, eat and breath the game, I would like to see the game from the beginning and to my part to help to be better and stay true to Star Trek.

They have stated that beta testing will happen when it happens and they will announce it here when they get to that point.
But like was said in the webcast, they are already playing it amongst themselves so I don't see an open beta being that far away at all.
I've always loved the treks, but the games haven't been as good as they could have. And I mean they did not exspand the universe like this one does. Iv'e played a few of them, but they were not grand anough. This game sound like it's going to be a true Star Trek game. One that even Gene Roddenberry would be proud of. I look foward to playing it.
Wow what a relief to see and read this. I thought all hope was lost for this game. Well I stumbled upon mmorpg.com and read it was still going so here I am. Ready to experience what I hope will be the greatest MMO experience ever!
I took a look at your site and recommend it to my visitors. I agree with you on the importance of becoming valuable in many different areas. I believe that it sustains any entrepreneur during challenges that inevitably occur.

Jean Luc, James T., Chris Pike, Archer - look out! the Universe is about to explode with eager young captains seeking to jump on as Beta Testers and Wannabees. <ahem - guilty>
Can't wait for the opportunity to feel the thrum of the warp engines beneath my feet as I sit in my arm chair watching the big screen. "Spock, what to you make of it? and Diana, no one cares what you are feeling at the moment - we are all having a collective shiver of anticipation."

I am BIG Star Trek fan - but NOT a fanatic.
