Here is how it will go down. We break into the Terran throne room. At the far end the throne slowly revolves and reveals the leader of the Terran Empire.....

    "Kurland here....."

It would fit my character. My main had a species breeding program. I mated all the species to make new stuff....

You should check out Breeders of the Nephelym. It's free on Steam

Kurland has been MIA or or as I headcacon it KIA for some time now, however it would be interesting to see his counterpart as Emperor, I wonder how Mirror Kurland will feel the news once we tell him of his Prime counterpart's untimely demise.

If not for the need for it to be voiced, I'd say the player is the Emperor - that would make the best twist from a gameplay and story perspective.

Also, how entertaining would it be to have to fight your own ship in-game or fight yourself on ground using all your existing powers, traits, kit modules, weapons, and skills.

they did that is star Fleet Command 2 I think it was

Yeah I remember that fight. That one was hard! Mirror you of that game would show up in the exact same ship with the exact same load out and if that wasn't enough the escort ships would constantly barrage you with missiles.

For fun, I'm going to say mirror Pike. But not actual mirror Pike (or anyone else), but a mirror V'Ger construct of him, just to tie into the start of Firewall and the disappearing planet.

the "cheat" was to use a frigate as your flagship, then when the episode started you switch to the carrier/dreadnought/cruiser you has as a wingman.

Actually that would be nice if you could use it like a weapons testing program. Especially if it's designed in a way you can use it like a test dummy. Maybe a coop mode after you win where you can control yourself and the other ship. Then solo players don't need to find other players to test equipment out.

I stand by my choice - it's very likely going to be Wesley...he's a widely-hated joke of a character in Prime, to the point even his actor loathes the character, so Cryptic would never be able to get him to reprise that role - but a badass mirror counterpart? They just might be able to swing that - and his actor's probably not too overly expensive, unlike someone like Sir Patrick Stewart or William Shatner.

I want it to be wesley and I to some extent liked wesley's character they just wrote him bad. He was kind of a character I looked up to. I would also love if it is mirror data lol.

It seems very likely that will finally find out who the Terran Emperor is.

All we know for certain is, its a male, he's a Terran, and he has become obsessed with some technology.

Some likely contenders have been suggested:

    Wesley Crusher
    Jean Luc Picard
    Mirror Lorca
    Garth of Izar
    Kirk
    Prime Lorca
    Zephram Cochrane
    some new character
    disguised Gul Dukat
    2 tellarites in a trenchcoat
    Daniels

so who do you think it is, who do you want it to be?

I honestly THINK given the thing I saw (which may or may not have been seen by others) it will be the Mirror Version of our own Character or Captain (Depending) which one were logged in as. Honestly though, I'm just sad I have an EVIL twin, it shouldn't happen cause I'm too nice. ;)

Well I at least know we'll see a Mirror Version of ourselves at least, don't know if they will be the Emperor though...

I honestly hope though it's at least someone from 2370+ timeline, be awesome if it was Barkley; super confident, assertive, and very confident, and very vicious. Hehehe... be interesting thing to see!

Wesley as character improved greatly when one Eugene Wesley Roddenberry Senior got kicked upstairs and wasn't around to tell the writers how to write him.

It was really season 1 and possibly season 2 that was bad after that he was realistically talented youth.

I just found out one of the guys who does MXC voices was in star trek!

Maybe the emporer is kenny Blankeship! (Sadly rick romano's voice over passed away and now coudn't do it. although a few references from emperor kenny about offing him could be made! >>)

According to the Livestream, they haven't 100% decided on who the Emperor is yet. They know who they want the Emperor to be and tried reaching out to them, but they haven't come back with an answer yet.

It might be Wesley, however my mind would be blown if they got Sir Patrick Stewart, he's not just Picard, he's also Professor X, he recognizable by both Trekkies and non Trekkies alike, Riker would pretty great too, He's been on TNG, ENT, PIC and Lower Decks.

If it's patrick stewart they will have to have him be senile and looking for the car keys as a joke. And the thing that makes him invncible some convoluted nonsense like in american dad.

I would not be surprised. But there are plenty of other options on who is the emperor in STO.

Not agreeing with someone doesn't give you the right to be an TRIBBLE.

Ci sono tre tipi di giocatori:
    - quelli a cui non va mai bene niente... e vanno sul forum a trollare;
    - quelli che sono talmente imbesuiti da credere a qualunque cosa i dev dicano, perfino che la luna è fatta di formaggio... e vanno sul forum a trollare;
    - quelli che credono a quello a cui è giusto credere, sono d'accordo con quello con cui è giusto essere d'accordo e sono critici con quello che non va;

Someone probably guessed their first pick, and other people probably guessed the backups, if that's the case then his statement is true regardless of what happens.

The important thing is players be given an opportunity to "SHUT UP, WESLEY" on a scale appropriate to the Terran Emperor.
Like that scene in the KDF tutorials where your ship comes to clean things up.

In other words, the shut up should be visible from space when we're in mirror-sector-space. Preferably still on fire.

Not until they've decided, it isn't.
Which is something I hope they do soon - in fact, is something that should've already be done.

I mean, it would be good if it were 'Smiley' O'Brian or Bashier, we know both of them were alive at the end of the DS9 mirror episodes unlike most of the characters suggested here where it would be impossible for them to be alive due to the fall of the Terran Empire from their time and as said Bashier at least has already voiced in the game and it would be nice to at least hear what happened to their characters.

    has to be Picard

    becasue....

    There are 4 Lights!!!!

Power without Perception is Spiritually useless and therefore of no true value.

Smiley is an interesting one. According to old missions, he was killed by his son James.

But those missions are removed now, and have been for a while. It's entirely possible that they could ignore those old missions if they wanted to. I can't remember any other time when they've done this though.

    -K
