Will we still get to have the classic look, like the corvette has?
I'd think the parts are interchangeable if you have the T5 unlocked. I don't think they're included, or does the T6 corvette come with both versions?

It gives you the option change , but I don't have the orginal Corvette, so I can't say for sure. The T6 came with 9 templates, 8 windows, 2 Hulls, and 5 Nacelles. Chances are, one of the hulls is probably from the lower tier version.
The one bridge I've always wanted them to make was an arboretum for the luxury liner. Now it seems they've removed it entirely for the T6. I never expected it, but it would be pretty neat for the bridge to have trees, a garden, and a pool.

This brings back some bad memories. Skipped the T5 party boat because it really rubbed me the wrong way the a disco boat had better stats than the venerable T5 Ambassador Class.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.
"This truly extravagant starship"
If it's 'truly extravagant' as it's being billed as. How about some bridge amenities like on the D'Kora and Suliban Cellship?

You do know what the term "flavor text" means right?
T5-U: Tac Console Slots ; 3 + 1 ( total of 4 )
Eng Console slots ; 5
Sci Console Slots ; 2
T5-U-X : Uni Console Slot ; 1
Tac Console Slots ; 3 + 1 (total of 4 PLUS Uni-Slot ) / So in absolut total: 5 Tac Consoles
Eng Console slots ; 5
Sci Console Slots ; 2
Now the new T6 : Tac Console Slots ; 3
Eng Console slots ; 5
Sci Console Slots ; 3
T6-X : Uni Console Slot ; 1
Tac Console Slots ; 3 ( plus Uni-Slot, Total of 4 )
Eng Console slots ; 5
Sci Console Slots ; 3
You see, the T6 lost a Tac Slot in exchange with an additional Sci Slot.
For me i hope, the T5-U-X can equip the T6 Ship-Skin, because more Pew Pew potential ...
Maybe there is a little chance, that a maybe possible T6-Fleet version will have 4 Tac + X-Uni-Slot..
Like as the Escort got a full Pilote Escort fleet version, i just hope, the Cruiser will get a Fleet-Battlecruiser Variant..
The T6 arrangement actually makes sense with all three of the Risan Exotic Particle Generator set consoles in place since the focus of that set is exotic damage which is science based, and it does not weaken it compared to the T5 since they both have the same number (3) of tac console slots.
Sure, meta would be better served by making the new slot tac but most event ships are designed to fill unusual roles or at least give an opportunity to try different setups than a knee-jerk adherence to meta. This one would made a decent exotic damage tank (which is a rather infrequently explored niche), especially for those who have captains who mainly used the science and engineering skill trees (which is also non-meta but works).
It would have been nice to have a second Temporal seat too, having only an LT seat is rather limiting despite the flexibility of it being a Universal one.
The ship does not have a custom bridge, it uses the default Starship bridge like the other Risa ships. The Atrium (which I don't really know about) apparently is on the model, though they had to make some new technology in order to put it on the T6 version, or something to that effect.
You can use T5 parts, and mix/match with T6. (Kael went into the ship tailor and hit Random a few times during the Twitch stream.) Judging from the T6 corvette and pics of the T5 corvette on the wiki, I think you'll be able to use both sets of parts even if you only have the T6.
And for those who watched the stream (and for the devs who were on it) and guessed that the ship pic I sent in was of a Deep Space Science Vessel, technically that's wrong. :b
It's a Mirror Universe Reconnaissance Science Vessel, which is the Mirror Universe version of the Deep Space Science Vessel. The Mirror Universe Deep Space Science Vessel is the Luna class, and it's hull material works with the Titan. (Originally sent the fanart for a previous episode, but he didn't do fanart that time.) Vessel's name (for the pic) was ISS T6 Trident When. And I originally got that ship (and other Mirror Universe ships) back in 2013.
T6 console can be used on any ship, my Risian "Giant Death Hornet"(Bozeman vanity) loadout for my mine layer Star Cruiser(T5X, all storm & Risian consoles) will be Complete.
Kinda disappointed that the ship, as presented, is a choice between having any real science capability or temporal. And, well, I don't think I've ever found a use for a commander engineering stations that wasn't also a specialist station, so there's that too. I mean, what are you supposed to do with more than lt commander? I mean, I get it: engineering-focused ships have commander engineering stations, and event ships only have ltcomm specialist stations. But the two design restrictions produce the worst possible combination. Commander tactical is always useful, specialist or not. Commander science is always useful, specialist or not. Commander engineering mediocre if it's not a specialist station.
Then again, it's an event ship, and those are usually more miss than hit (likely by intention). Which begs the question: if event ships are intentionally gimpy, why are they so afraid of making them accessible to newer players who missed the relevant events? And why, then, do they charge such a high price for them on Mudds when they're designed to be sub-par ships? I can't think of a single event ship that would cause me to opt out of buying one of many far superior c-store equivalents, so it's not like freebie event ships are somehow diminishing the value of the ships they sell.
This is my thinking on this ship exactly. As a T6 ship, it really has nothing going for it. The temp spec seat does not add anything to the ship because you have to lose sci seats to use it. It fails as an exotic boat, and it fails as a beam boat. The only reason to get this ship would be the trait and console, which are entirely skippable.

The 'default bridge' better be selectable to others and interiors, as I am not a fan of the bridge they selected as the default Starship Bridge (which really screams 'we don't have any graphic artists that can build more than basic stuff' and 'we didn't want to put more than 5 minutes into this'). The T5 versions at least allow us to select our interiors, and I think it's a very bad situation that the newer ships don't allow this.

Why does the T6 Luxury Cruiser lose out on a tac slot unlike the T5U? Besides actual tac ships can now have up to 6-7 tac consoles for x-upgraded regular and miracle worker, there's no reason why this one cannot have 4 like its T5U variant. I would've at least liked 3 sci 4 eng 4 tac.
Someone in zone chat mentioned an "atrium" being on this ship, and there's a mention in an old forum post about a risa ship with an atrium, and then in this thread about an arboretum... are there atrium/arboretum interiors somewhere? If not this ship, where?
Will we still get to have the classic look, like the corvette has?
No. On the PC version, at least, you can't customize anything on it (color, hull pattern, parts, etc.); it's the usual poorly-tested, broken mess that's all too typical, around here.
So "at or below 25% throttle" Does that mean you can standstill and benefit from the Anchor trait?
I'd tend to think 0% is still <25%, and I thought even one of the DEVs said in a Ten Forward Stream, thought perhaps it was Borticus yet I could be mistaken, stated even Reverse Throttle counted for this!

I think the Feature speaks of what you see from the Exterior of the Ship, when panels covering it are removed... ...though I also remember their being problems with sometimes having it display properly. I think they were perhaps aware of it, but how soon will it get fixed is another thing.

My only guess would be simply because if you upgraded the T5 Event Ship to Experimental, all you'd miss out on is the Starship Trait. So fly the T5 if you've earned it, otherwise you'll have to consider Phoenix for the Variation. Still once you've unlocked the T5 and earned your Mastery I-IV, then it shouldn't matter which ship you choose to fly.
I guess the other reason is they wanted to offer a slight change over the T5 variant for that reason?
I just got the ship today and I'm a bit confused. Why is this ship classified as a Science ship for Admiralty? It's a Cruiser with an Engineering focus and we had a Risian Sci ship last year, so... WTF.

Lets compare: (with focus on, how many tac consoles you may potentially equip)
T5:

Eng Console slots ; 5
Sci Console Slots ; 2
T5-U:
Tac Console Slots ; 3 + 1 ( total of 4 )
Eng Console slots ; 5
Sci Console Slots ; 2

this ship worth the grind? I mean the trait or the console.
Even if we already have a close enough with the Lukari or Xindi Aquatic bridges, they're not gonna use them.
At least, according to the concept art, we still have the transparent dome (albeit smaller) showing the little forest for the outside view.
I think that may have been part of the inspiration for it, or at least I seem to recall pelicans being mentioned in the stream.
