The ability for the NPC AI to use builds created by players. Improved AI which used NPC ships and mobs more intelligently.
I'd like to be surprised once in awhile by an NPC ship having a sensible build and being able to use said build sensibly.
A six year old boy and his starship. Living the dream.
ship boarding missions that use your entire roster of crew to help fight off random raiders..could be a patrol mission. get rid of lock boxes and all promo boxes and put all ships on zen market..make more outfits cause space barbie have kit module unlocks so we can add a couple more do the same with perks and traits can be per char and missions that allow you to use your roster of ships as allies in scaling missions so more ships you add the tougher it gets to a cap of say 3 ships you add. make t6 versions of various t1-t4 ships we all love (id get my t6 Oberth) bug/mission fix like crazy. im sure ill add more to this later on but thats just off the top of my head atm
1. Make the Borg a real threat again in space.
2. 'Canon' Hardpoints and Arcs and give Torpedoes fore and aft dedicated Heavy Weapon slots.
3. Make HP relevant to ship size.
4. Improve ship physics to be more realistic.
5. Sector Space 'truly' random encounters.
6. True exploration of the remaining 90% of the Galaxy we haven't seen and an original 'nightmare scenario' enemy not ever seen before within this Galaxy that we don't 'easily subdue' in less than at least 2 years.
7. Level 20 R&D special craftable equipment.
8. Live damage and repairs!!!
"You don't want to patrol!? You don't want to escort!? You don't want to defend the Federation's Starbases!? Then why are you flying my Starships!? If you were a Klingon you'd be killed on the spot, but lucky for you.....you WERE in Starfleet. Let's see how New Zealand Penal Colony suits you." Adm A. Necheyev.
'Hero' BOff character presets for heads and bodies, or even holo-boffs with costumes unlocked. I love the idea of the holo-boffs, only thing I feel it needs added is the ability to change their uniform. Much as having Chekov, Leeta, and Bashir on the crew (even as holos) is great, they're inevitably out of place. I'm thinking of the gamut from the likes of VanZyl, Miral Paris and Amna Patel, through to Stamets, Seven, and Burnham. Along the lines of Tovan Khev and our Hierarchy potato, or (I'm told) the La Forge and Doctor holos.
Nemesis/ENT Romulan uniforms.
'ISS' registry unlock for all Fed ships, like the 'NX' designation was.
In terms of potentially huge stuff, I really like the player home thing mentioned above.

Its mentioned in the 2nd season of TNG that the Federation has explored 19% of the galaxy by that time.
With the decades of space exploration in the Alpha and Beta Quadrants since then, the opening of the wormhole to the Gamma Quadrant, and Voyager's exploration of the Delta quadrant, "known space" is closer to about 50% of the galaxy.
I disagree. 50% is overly optimistic. It took hundreds of years to 'discover' 19% of the galaxy. Even with the fastest ships as per canon, I'd say 25% is more that actual figure. I'm pretty sure I read in one Dev blog, that they'd explored about 40% of Alpha AND beta, by this time.

meanwhile, i managed to explore the entire galaxy (aside from a few isolated unclaimed systems which i think have guardians in them) in stellaris in less than 100 years...of course, that's mainly because of shared sensor data with all the other empires that actually joined the galactic union thingie when it was founded
anyway, the point is, star trek needs to get on stellaris' level
A normie goes "Oh, what's this?"
An otaku goes "UwU, what's this?"
A furry goes "OwO, what's this?"
A werewolf goes "Awoo, what's this?"
"It's nothing personal, I just don't feel like I've gotten to know a person until I've sniffed their crotch." "We said 'no' to Mr. Curiosity. We're not home. Curiosity is not welcome, it is not to be invited in. Curiosity...is bad. It gets you in trouble, it gets you killed, and more importantly...it makes you poor!"
Passion and Serenity are one.
I gain power by understanding both.
In the chaos of their battle, I bring order.
I am a shadow, darkness born from light.
The Force is united within me.
The problem is that we have no idea what is meant when they say that space is 'explored'.
In the FE where we are investigating the system that is going to be the home of the new Fleet colony, multiple ships are involved in further investigating the moon of the planet. No one had any idea what the crystals were, even though they had been found in many places by then. And that system had already been visited by other ships previously too, before the player character, captain La Forge and Kumaarke arrive.
It shows that exploration is clearly something different than just taking a sneek peek and continuing on your journey.
Other examples further prove this: why are there specially constructed research outposts in the Donatu system for example, if exploration and studying of just one moon isn't going to take months or years?
It is simply unbelievable that, given these things, the UFP would have explored tens of percents of the entire Galaxy or that it had even explored almost 20% at a time when it couldn't even reach half the galaxy (basically meaning that they had explored 40% of the Alpha and Beta quadrants).
Just studying a single planet like Mars or a body like the Moon takes many different missions. Getting to know even a single body in a single system appears to involve dedicated stations and teams working on that. Even trying to grasp the basics of some planets in a single system, involves different ships - and then there can still be surprises, despite a prolonged presence there.
Even with more advanced technology, considering how many planets there appear to be in most systems, how many other bodies and how much empty space that may be further hiding interesting stuff (also keep in mind that we can really only see a small part of the stuff in our Galaxy), it's just unrealistic to state that such a large part had been explored.
It's great and all that it is stated somewhere in canon, but if literally everything else contradicts that statement and no effort is further made to make it even slightly believable, it should be treated for what it is: a throwaway line.
People shouldn't always take something as 'truth' or consider it established fact just because someone, somewhere and sometime said something. Certainly not if it would mean that you'd have to take all these other examples of things that are actually shown, with a grain of salt.
I would like to see a ship device that would give you wingmen like the Jem'Hadar vanguard ships. Feds would get deviants, kdf would get BoP, and Roms would get Tavaros.
More Bank slot unlocks in c-store.
Current bank (even when fully upgraded) is woefully inadequate for a game that centers around aquisition of loot.
By any chance are you also a fellow pet collector? Because Pet Tab can give you back any space dedicated to holding pets.
I got like 40 something slots taken up by pets in my main's bank. >.< Hard to be a weapons collector and a Pet collector.
I can't take it anymore! Could everyone just chill out for two seconds before something CRAZY happens again?!

Got a few pets, wouldn't call my self a pet collector tho.
I do collect a lot of weapons both ground and space with associated modules.
Not to mention all the other random modules taking up space that I won't delete or sell in case they might be usefull for a build at some point in time.
Bank space should increase as lockb.. er.. ahem.. content is added to the game.

I run several Romulans and would like to see the game open up more hairstyles like these for Roms!
Would be nice, but it no longer exists.
Fixed that for you.
The dev team is awesome and does actually care; sadly they are powerless to do anything without the boss's say so.

Also, an end to DSC content.
Maybe Suliban race added to RR?
An end to money grabs.( I like new content, i don't like insanely high priced new content that ill never be able to get...)
