Well my unfortunate luck with Cryptic gambling held true so no big wins but I only used the free gifts Cryptic had offered so I do have more lobi than before which is appreciated. I've lost enough in the past with Cryptic's gambling to notice that the Salvaged Technology lowest prize now has seemingly been replaced with that crafting Catalyst token lol.
I had been telling myself if I won the Borg ship I'd buy the LTS as it's on a better sale currently despite my disappointments of the Picard & Anniversary bundles but I still might consider it since I think it's still a good objective deal but within subjectively bad context & direction by Cryptic. Decisions decisions.
Well... at least people can now get their Borg Suits if they want.
I was hoping so! But as i check the tailor, my captain wearing the armor has no new costume options apparent! Gonna go back and see if there is a new tab specific to this outfit.

Yep, it's in it's own separate tab. Which sucks, because that means you can't mix parts. But not surprising.
We are the borg resistance is futile. You will surrender all banking information and your financial wealth and your credit cards will be added to our own, If you resist you wont be able to get the ship.
A normie goes "Oh, what's this?"
An otaku goes "UwU, what's this?"
A furry goes "OwO, what's this?"
A werewolf goes "Awoo, what's this?"
"It's nothing personal, I just don't feel like I've gotten to know a person until I've sniffed their crotch." "We said 'no' to Mr. Curiosity. We're not home. Curiosity is not welcome, it is not to be invited in. Curiosity...is bad. It gets you in trouble, it gets you killed, and more importantly...it makes you poor!"

probably because, aside from one 3 second scene in BOBW 2, the borg were never shown to use any type of bolt weapon
of course, you'd think that 3 second scene would be enough excuse to make cannons
They use them in First Contact as well, the cube fires them at the Fed fleet a couple times, and then most notably the sphere fires cannon bolts at the missile complex where the Phoenix is being built.
i think those were plasma torpedoes, because they were spherical, not teardropical (yes, i know this isn't a word, but it is now, damnit!) like cannon bolts usually are

Idk, looks more like cannon shots to me, plus I'd expect torpedoes to be MUCH more devastating to the missile complex in Montana.
Are the Borg Combat Structure Kit Frames any good? Is that structure after 7 uses worth it? From just reading the description & their mods I find them looking lackluster.

I like it well enough. The structure effect is built in to the kit frame. It is a free Plasma Turret that activates on its own and doesn't take up a Module Slot. You are just fighting and one sprouts up. It has a Borg Regeneration buff on it, so it automatically heals itself from damage that it takes. They last for a while, too. I had, like, four or five of them up at the same time while testing it on Defera.
i would not expect a plasma torpedo to have anywhere near the level of kinetic and explosive force a regular physical torpedo would have, because it's just plasma wrapped in a containment field that is constantly deteriorating (at least, that's what the original romulan plasma torpedo - AKA the red beachball of doom - was; i don't know if later models, especially the borg version, were also like that)
it would be like dropping a ball of lava on something from space - if you could keep it from solidifying

well, the ground ability/skill/kit module to assimilate foes is really boring when used by players during tfos. After a moment, there are so many drones, that I don't know who are the ennemies or not. In space, it is less boring like only 1 ship can be assimilated.
+ we fight the borg because they assimilate peoples, and now we can do the same thing. Where is the logic?

? We don't fight the borg because thy assimilate people, we fight the borg because they are a plague of xenophobic machines that believe only they should exist and nothing else.
If assimilation is the case for killing something then why do we help the kobali whom have no problem with desecrating graves and turning our family and friends into their families and friends.

the borg are not xenophobic, they assimilate all the peoples (except the kazon), and this is because they destroy Peoples by using assimilation that we fight them. And about the Kobali, they give a new channce to dead persons, it is strange and cool at the same time.
Borg are clearly xenophillic or they would not assimilate, they would just destroy. They are interested in the uniqueness of other cultures and their tech and subsume them to take the best parts and discard the rest.
As for in game assimilation, its really tiring. I just watch it and I sigh. And unfortunately the console is actually pretty good for most of my science ships so I'll probably use it to.
The irony of this coming in the same patch that gave us a mission with Abraham Lincoln is also incredible. Borg assimilation as players use it is, for all intents and purposes, forcible slavery.

what grade? are they VR or UR?
Oh wow, thanks for the info, & congrats!
VR but if you type in 1 of it doesn't matter it goes directly to the VR
I wonder why there's no cannons?

It might have been their anti-shield torpedoes. Those would not have had much effect of non-shielded targets. It would be like focused EMP blasts.

This never made sense to me, even if they have nothing else to offer extra drones are still useful.
