Get ready to fly the new Disco Enterprise fairly soon(ish)

Based on what happened with the Discovery herself, that ship was added to another Trek game (Timelines) and very shortly after was released in STO. Well now the new Discovery Enterprise has made it into another Trek game, meaning CBS is already letting games use it. In all likelihood the STO ship guys are already working on the model, so save your credits accordingly =)

PS: one other thought: in the other Trek game that new Disco Enterprise was released as a skin for the existing TOS connie, not a separate ship. Of course different games do things different ways, but it's still interesting.

The Sech is a really odd looking ship. It looks Dominion to me.

Norway and Yeager dammit... I still want my Typhoon and Jupiter though.
JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.

Like special weapons from other Star Trek games? Wondering if they can be replicated in STO even a little bit? Check this out: https://forum.arcgames.com/startrekonline/discussion/1262277/a-mostly-comprehensive-guide-to-star-trek-videogame-special-weapons-and-their-sto-equivalents

Most likely a new skin will come out for the current T6 TOS version.
Judging from the trailer, you will only see her in the first Episode as Pike takes over Discovery for the season.

Considering the trailer seems to only cover the first two or so episodes I don't know where you got the idea Pike is taking over for all of series 2.

This is clearly a Vulcan design. You don't think so? Discovery takes Star Trek into modern times and really improves on dated visuals. Vulcans are clearly insectoid and that ship accurately reflects that. I for one celebrate new ideas, IDIC and throw that old dusty stuff out. I hope when Spock finally makes an appearance he'll use Vulcan eye beams to melt some Borg. You know, working inside the confinement of canon but still giving us something to marvel.

That would be really funny if it wasn't for the fact we've seen DSCs Vulcans (who look identical to every other Vulcan) and their ships (which are brown/red with a warp ring as with every other Vulcan ship).

That was kind of my point, although to be fair I have literally forgotten we saw Vulcan ships in DSC. I have forgotten a lot and really no desire to rewatch it so this might happen more often in the future xD

What species does that belong to?
    <---- no access to STDisc

It's the Klingon D7 Sech Class Prison Transport. It was in the episode 'Choose Your Pain'.

Not to be confused with the D7 K't'inga Class Battlecruiser.

Yeah, Targ's just pissy (as per his/her screenname) because the Klinks don't look like TNG Klinks and nobody's given an "explanation" for it yet. (Yet oddly doesn't seem to object to all those years when the "explanation" for the difference between TOS and TNG Klinks was either that it wasn't mentioned at all, or Worf's line, "We do not discuss it with -- outsiders.")

Also seems to feel that each species' ships are supposed to somehow reflect their own species' appearance, which of course means that humans in Targ's world have flattened, disc-shaped heads that connect to their tubular torsos by means of an elongated, angular neck...

Don't look silly... Don't call it the "Z-Store/Zen Store"...
Let me put the rumors to rest: it's definitely still the C-Store (Cryptic Store) It just takes ZEN.

Trekyards (see screenshot) just did a video on the TRIBBLE Enterprise, its quite a bit bigger than the TOS one. Hard to be a skin for it like that.

I like the look of the TRIBBLE Enterprise, its kinda a mix if the TOS and TMP one. It's more 'true' than the KT one is overall; even with the TRIBBLE grunge look they have in that show.

When has scale been an issue in STO? The TOS Connie is about 295 meters while the refit is 305. Yet the Temporal Connie can use parts from the Refit, along with all other Connie variants except for the Kelvin, which is a seperate, larger entity.

They could easily model the parts for the Discovery era Connie and add it into the parts for the Temporal Connie. People are already making mockups using the Exeter saucer.
