You're asking the wrong people. No-one here can tell you the whens, whys or whats until it's up in the News Feeds or GNN forum.

They could use others for that. Kumaarke is already tied to the new sectors in the Alpha Quadrant if I'm not mistaken and Sela had some voice overs for the Tau Dewa sectors.

Highly likely whomever voiced Quinn will do that for the Feds.

up path to playable Founder character? It would be interesting to be a shapeshifting character. I would plant myself as a helm or conn chair on the U.S.S. Pastak and enjoy the adventure.

I doubt it. A shapeshifter would be rather difficult to figure out. At best, we can simulate one with an Alien and just have multiple outfits that are different appearances.

If Founders ever become a playable species then it'll happen as a species option for the Jem'Hadar faction (on or near ViL's release). What to expect though may simply be a "shape shifting" combat power and perhaps alien gen parts in the tailor, in addition to stock Founder (so you can "shape shift" through selecting different custom costumes.) More elaborate Odo'ing is probably a stretch (har har) and I doubt that simply having Jem'Hadar will lead to a line of progressive development that will somehow make Founders viable if the Founders aren't already part of the plan for Victory is Life (with the story already setup to accommodate their perspective on whatever intro the Dominion gets.) :)

Playable Vorta didn't make sense based on fiction

Another reason for me to ignore this new faction and stick with my existing "Dominion" character, Vorta are the only Dominion race I ever really found interesting.

"'There will probably be other playable species available in this expansion, but they'll be playable for other factions, not this Jem'hadar faction'." I am going to guess that Cardassian's will be one of them but I am still sad that we aren't getting a Cardassian faction.

Maybe if they added the Breen to the new faction I might even consider making a character on it, I could then use my already available winter event Breen ships on it.

I guess we won't get custom aliens on the new faction unlike the other three of four factions.

I already have a Dominion character, my Delta Recruit is a Vorta with a crew of Jem'Hadar wearing Jem'Hadar uniforms, wielding Jem'Hadar weapons, and flying Jem'Hadar ships. Only benefit I might hopefully get out of this is the ability to acquire additional real Jem'Hadar boffs instead of relying on aliengen.
Yawn, you don't have a Dominion toon, you have alien toons made to look like Dominion characters, your doing the same old content that's beenaround for years now your finally getting the real deal and you yawn,I have all the Jem and Cardassian ships too but I'm excited to finally get the real deal, dude if you don't have anything positive to say don't say anything, many people are happy getting some new content and you have to post some yawn nonsense....smh

Well, it took a good deal of time and money to get everything I needed for this character so I have an attachment that I'll never have with one of these new characters, the captain is a Vorta which has been stated to not be an option for the new faction (a total deal breaker for me), and based on what we've heard about the amount of content coming I highly doubt there will be any substantial Jem'Hadar only content. As I said before, the only thing I can possibly hope to get out of this is the ability to acquire more than one full Jem'Hadar boff.

Yes, one of those Jem'Hadar is intended to be female, her existence is explained in my character's bio. Essentially, the captain is a merc and her Jem'Hadar all followed her lead and deserted from the Dominion. In appreciation of their loyalty, my captain hired a geneticist to engineer female Jem'Hadar and thus complete their race.

Hmm, the geneticist would also have create male Jem'hadar with sexual organs since I doubt the Founders made a "perfect soldier" with vulnerable external genitalia and a sex drive. ;) After all, the only reason for having two genders is procreation. Be that as it may, nice screenshots!

I think Alpha Quardant Jem'hadar and Gamma Quardant Jem'hadar are a safe bet, but what about Delta Quadrant, Beta Quadrant, and stranger Jem'hadar species, like a Hurq Jem'hadar designed spefically for fighting Hurq, Fluidic Space Jem'hadar, Borg Jem'hadar (safe bet on this one), Mirror Jem'hadar, Hybrid/Experimental Jem'hadar.

And what races could other factions get? Cardassians? Vorta? Kammema? Wadi? Bosi? Suliban?

Except, we stop getting skill points at 50. Starting at level 51 we get Spec points and that's it. So I would be really shocked if we get any more skill points.

For me the real question is will we be getting any new Captain abilities as we gain levels 61 to 65?

I will say that items based entirely upon level and not mark like Hangar Bay Pets like my Slavers, Cutpurse, and Callistos will be level 65 not 60 by the time all is said and done, so I think that means they will be more powerful although I don't know by how much as I don't know what effect level has on my pets.

no, it was data; his implanted memories took over and wiped out B-4's memories (or merged with them - the path to 2409 never actually made that clear) after geordie started tinkering with him several years before 2409

Take from the following Reddit thread
    https://www.reddit.com/r/sto/comments/88e7zo/new_expansion_interview_with_captain_geeko/?st=jfelq8zy&sh=a0a8aa73
    • The Hur'Q made sense as a big bad that wasn't fully explored from the show, and they came from Gamma Quadrant. Gamma makes sense to go into because there's so much unexplored by the shows.
    • Starting at 60 you'll have decent gear (not just white Mk Xs), doffs, skills, some reps done, some specializations, boffs. 'You'll be ready to go'.
    • On other species available: Story is really a Jem'hadar story. Playable Vorta didn't make sense based on fiction (ie being a soldier or reporting to Jem'hadar First). Dosi or Karemma didn't make sense for the player on a Dominion ship.
    • 'There will probably be other playable species available in this expansion, but they'll be playable for other factions, not this Jem'hadar faction'.
    • For the Jem'hadar faction: "There will be more than one type of Jem'Hadar."
    • You start at high level because you're genetically engineered ready to go, as a Jem'Hadar.
    • Story is picked up around the recent events (ie story with Odo, Tzenkethi, Hur'Q, etc.) and told from Jem'Hadar side
    • Story will explore a bit of Jem'hadar sense of self, and their relationship to founders/Dominion.
    • Jem'Hadar will pick a faction to join. "This is who I'm going to work with." vs. Rommies becoming citizens.
    • Yes there will be a recruitment event like Delta Rising had. Probably not xp month because Jem'Hadar are already at 60.
    • Not 100% decided on whether you need a high level character to unlock Jem'Hadar characters, still discussing internally.
    • New Jem'Hadar will not be given c-store gear, rep gear, or set items. (You'll have rep unlocked but still need to earn marks for the gear)
    • Close to revamping the queue system; looking at similar to Neverwinter for bonus rewards, or random queue for bonus rewards.
    • New episodes are far more involved than previous ones. New animator with great cutscenes.
    • New battlezone is not like the ones before; more like a server-wide event. Quadrant-level thing rather than just an open world map.
    • Number of episodes has nothing to do with the amount of money spent on voice actors. (Got more this year cause last year not many voice actors, cost split)
    • Very few non-Star Trek actors this time around. Loriss is Michelle Speck from Star Trek Continues.
    • Maybe fewer releases because quality is higher than years ago, but still standard on new content every ~3 months.
    • DS9 changes aren't as dramatic as Earth Spacedock, but there are improvements. "Higher Fidelity, more art". Can't talk too much just yet, but focus on IP accuracy.
    • Gamma Quadrant about the size of Alpha Quadrant, for Map Size. Existing IP stuff (planets) will be there, some new stuff. At least 6x5 sectors size.
    • Some sectors don't have a lot but every one has something, room for more later. Sounds like they'll have a new Galactic Map for everyone.
    • New ship packs: there will be something for everyone. Some things will be meant for Jem'Hadar faction, some can be used by everybody.
    • At 65 you'll still be a Fleet Admiral / Dahar Master; probably won't change it, just Fleet Admiral 5 or Fleet Admiral 6, etc.

Why add Fleet Admiral 5 or 6 that makes no sense
