Just use the proxy!, that solve it for me.. there are 4 proxys eu1, eu2, us1 and us2, the comand is -setproxy TRIBBLE.proxy.crypticstudios.com, where TRIBBLE is the server that you have the best ping, so test them all.. you just set it in the launcher.
No panic about the lock - it won't happen before tomorrow morning.
