6 missions = less workload/expenses, more profit for craptic
or less grind, more fun for players

But the confusion comes from is there only 6 TOS missions and the rest are Cross-faction missions? Since the expansion is called Agents of Yesterday, then the other TOS missions could be Cross-faction missions. IMO, it would have been better to have 6 TOS Starfleet missions, 6 TOS Klingon missions, and 6 TOS Romulan missions. Seeing how TOS Klingons are usually cast as the villains and TOS Romulans are rarely seen.
From a summary of recent P1 podcast with Samuel Wall someone kindly made on reddit:
Time travelling a big part of the storyline. You start in 2270, will go forward to 2409, then back to the 23rd century and back to the future again (throughout time, basically. So there's a bunch of content not on TRIBBLE yet!!!!)
Translation : There are one or two more mission set in the 23rd Century ... probably Cross-Faction ... which we all already know of ...
Right...except what the devs (specifically SWall) stated in the Priority One podcast interview he did.. Maybe you should stop trying to get people to believe your dubious information.

If "dubious information" = "already available information on Tribble" + "Data-Mining already existing Game-Code" ... you're indeed correct ... I would be insanse not to believe the usual vague Marketing-Nonsense about how epic it's all going to be ... *yawn*
PS : Still waiting for an actual Quote ... except ... listen to P1 ... cause it's qwl ...
Patch Notes : Resolved an Issue, where people would accidently experience Fun.
Data-mining only find what has been added to the game code. There's no reason to expect the devs to add unplayable stuff to the game code, even on tribble.... If they're still building the missions then... no we're not going to see them until the devs do add them in.
The missions that are there are really sweet. They look great. I very much want to be able to keep visiting the 23rd Century ESD because it's fun map/zone and so I really hope there's more to do with it and through it. It'd be kind of awesome if we could hop "back" in time as a "chrononaut" or "temporal agent" and visit the older map, as it's really kind of awesome. Especially the older sector space map. Kudos to Cryptic for that map look!
Still have plenty of torches, pitchforks, and popcorn kids! Can someone do a run for more butter sauce tho? Gettin kinda low there and sales are too brisk for me to leave atm.
Uh... "not a word"? really? You mean stuff like adding "there's more to come" onto the end of a blog?
No, I mean like actually saying "the TOS faction will have more exclusive missions". They could have said that by now, if that was the case. They haven't.
Of course, this could be "passive trolling". sure. But it doesn't look like that.
Samuel Wall (art director for STO) stated:

Or my current Liberated Borg Admiral could start in 2410, head to the 23rd Century, and go back to 2410. The Cross-faction portion of the storyline could be half or more of the entire AoY storyline for all we know while the remaining half or less of the storyline is strictly for the TOS faction.

Could you please elaborate ... to which Quote exactly are you referring to ... preferable with a Time-Stamp ...
