    I.S.S. Astute (MU)

"Heads are going to roll, Naynta did you hear that?" said Valdez. "She's insulted us and made it personal. Nathan, I'd say playtime has begun." said Lot. "All ships, we're going in now. Send that Bajoran trash a hail." ordered Valdez, "Heath you've just signed you and your crew's death warrant. I'll find you on the battlefield." "Make sure I get the Trills Nathan, my stock of playthings is running low" said Naynta and Heath closed the channel.

The combined Fleet got into attack position. "All ships, fire all the Biogenic and protomatter warheads through the rift, we're going in." ordered Naynta. The combined fleet headed to the rift and fired. "All ships, advance" ordered Valdez. The fleet entered the rift and found the minefield. The warheads sped off to the Breen confederacy. If the empire lost this fight, it would create a war the Federation would be bogged down for years in.

The minefields were cleared by graviton beams and the fleet closed in on the station. Heath and her 55 ships were now facing 600 Imperial ships and they were in attack position. "Jodi, take 4 wings of Defiants and attack the planet." ordered Naynta. Jodi moved round to her attack position. Admiral Heath and her ships covered the right, Naynta commanded the left and Valdez commanded the centre. 200 ships from 5th fleet were on the left, 150 ships were on the right and Valdez had 100 in the centre, Jodi had command of 50 ships and she commenced her attack on the planet firing onto the Federation colony before rejoining the fleet on the right flank.

The rest of the fleet advanced towards the station and prepared to open fire, "Hail Heath, she wanted a fight, we're here and we brought friends" ordered Valdez, "One on one challenge accepted." "I'll be ready to to start randomly beaming her trill crew off, I may even beam Heath from her bridge as well my counterpart. I've got their DNA records " said Naynta, "we'll spectate for the moment"

    ..................................................................................................................
    Betazed (Prime)

Both Trianna and Nathan Valdez were watching the updates. "Strong flanks but weak centre" said Valdez, "Trianna, warn Heath she's about to be encircled." Trianna opened a secure channel to Heath, "He's going to encircle you." Heath replied "Thanks for the heads up, Heath out" and she redeployed her ships accordingly. "I've sent a message to the Breen warning them of a mass biogenic attack from the Terran Empire, if they act on that warning it will save more lives" said Trianna.

"Could you find an Imperial operative on Antares, Heath knows someone has been leaking information to the empire" asked Valdez. "Pulling up records now. Every day at 1900 hours, there is a unusual signal and it's aimed at the rift. The terminal has to be in one of the habitation sections. I'll pass Heath the frequencies so she can pick up the location and time of the transmissions." said Trianna, "I may have let slip to Heath about your counterpart's domestic issues" "Funny but personal" replied Valdez.

"Like where you've put that armour and Bat'Leth" noted Valdez at Trianna's glass cabinet. "I'm honored to be considered a warrior by B'Vat. I want it passed down to future generations of this family as the ancestral armour and blade." said Trianna, "plus it looks good on display." "We're going help your friend Heath out with her problem, Could you get a covert message to General B'Vat in the other universe?" asked Valdez. "I'll say Trianna daughter of Valdez has a chance for your warriors to strike at their hated enemy. They'll need graviton beams to clear that minefield" replied Trianna, "and it's sent."

"I'll appraise Heath on the situation" said Valdez. "Dad, we're a good team. We need to work together more often" said Trianna, "we're doing this for our friends and family." "Trianna remember that photo of me, you and Teanna when we all went cage diving on Earth?" asked Valdez. "You mean the one with a 20 foot Great White in the background and mother looking nervous. That was funny, mother had never heard of a Great White until that day" said Trianna laughing. "That one, I want to upscale the photo and put it on the wall in the lounge. So when we feel sad and disheartened she's gone we can look at that and remember the good times." said Valdez. "Put that group picture up of our crew as well" said Trianna.

      Defera Sector

Soreth looked over the report, and pinched the bridge of her nose, her elbow resting upon her polished marble desk. She sighed, the quadrant charts now actually showed a Terran insignia, was the Alliance acknowledging the Badlands as a lost cause?! If they were going to give the Terrans any ground she'd see them revise that decision any way she could! Giving the Terrans even a single asteroid without a fight was akin to not punishing a child for slapping someone.... You didn't do it, because they'd keep coming back.

She'd have to send a task force to comb the badlands, this system wasn't about to become a target for the Tzenkethi or the Empire, they'd be staying in subspace- concealed and unassailable....

Leaning over she activated her communication console. "General Storm, dispatch the Tenth Legion, and two Basilisk squadrons to the Bandlands.... The Lliset will be the flagship for this operation, I want you to help our allies find and intercept any weapons of mass destruction that come from the mirrior universe. Additionally any Imperial technology you find being used to create inter-denominational rifts is to be destroyed.... General, one more order for you: unless a request is sent to us through you under no circumstances are you to enter the old Home-Universe."

Two hours later nearly 1,500 warbirds were en-route to the Badlands.

      U.S.S. Berne
"It's begun" said Captain Tom Paris. "Every major power is converging on Antares, reports of mass WMD launches and a vast Armada laying siege to the station. The colony has been hit and estimates are in the thousands" reported Miral. "Even the Breen are sending their fleet to help, whoever warned them has helped Breen/Federation relations. General Worf is leading the largest KDF force to date and the Romulan Republic is sending the bulk of their fleet over" replied Paris.

      U.S.S. Voyager

"Admiral, the Delta Alliance has sent ships to the Antares System, when Eldrin found out about these attacks he commited the bulk of his loyalist forces. The Vaad'duar are on their way and they are leading a task force from all Delta Alliance worlds including the Borg Co-operative. The Dominion has also moved towards Antares." reported Lieutenant Commander Kyla VanZyl. "Judging from recent events, it is logical to presume that all governments targeted by this Admiral Valdez have decided to help out of necessity and the Delta Alliance is helping us because we helped them in a time of need" replied Tuvok.

      I.S.S. Towton
"Antares, every power in the region is converging there." said Solat. "It's going to be a good harvest, we'll help our Imperial friends. Dad, you are going to accept my help one way or another" said Trianna. "I'm bringing the rest of my temporal forces to help our Imperial friends" said Victoria as screams were heard from her chamber of horrors. "This is a feeding ground we can really have fun on" replied Trianna. "This is Empress Victoria o' Brien, all ships converge at Antares in their space." ordered Victoria.

      Betazed
Nathan Valdez was watching the situation develop really fast. "Trianna, every major power is sending their ships to Antares. Even our friends from the Delta Quadrant are helping us" said Valdez. "The entire Quadrant has united against them. All I did was send out the warnings" replied Trianna. "You did more, those warnings were the first step of this alliance" replied Valdez. "We can beat them, I've sent word to Heath that a relief force is on the way. She just has to hold out until the relief fleets arrive."

      U.S.S. Peleliu

Cerys saw the size of the enemy armada opposing Heath's forces. So far both sides had not engaged yet apart from the strike on the planet. "We need relief" said Cerys as the Terran fleet closed around the station. She watched as the Terrans took up their siege lines. "If any of you new people are considering surrender, don't. They execute their prisoners" said Cerys, "We must hold out until relief gets here."

        Levtro System, New Val'Rikith

Entara looked out the palace window down at the waterway running through the middle of the capital city before turning to the quadrant hologram in her military command center.

She looked downward at the kneeling figure before her knowing she'd be sending her people back into battle.
"Lord General... We have an opportunity to improve our relations with the Breen. I want you to take the GSS Celestius the original Celestial class as you know and nine-teen Paladin class vessels to the Antares system. Assist our allies in repelling the Terran forces there. Take no risks with the dreadnought however. Keep it cloaked unless absolutely necessary."

        I.S.S. Vendetta
Victoria O'Brien looked over the massive star chat with pride. So much enemy blood was going to be spilled, in the coming battle... The Vendetta was rapidly approaching the battle lines, and crew was on edge.

She could feel that Ran'Karsork was pleased there had been so much death as of late, and he even now hungered for more. Every time a mortal breathed their last he was stronger. This was his age.. These coming millennia would see his reign over the fabric of the cosmos!
So much fear... So much pain.... So much death.

The representation of extinction, of unrighteous wrath, allowed himself to laugh. His creatures would swarm, the halls of these mortals metal coffins... And He.... He would feast.

        USS Los Lobos

Heath sat kneeling in her quarters, eyes closed.
Prophets, forgive me for what I must do, she prayed. But I must stop this here. And if I must use their own weapons against them, then have mercy on my Pah.
        She sighed.
What would the emissary do? Whatever it took. And so must I. Now I go forth to commit wholesale slaughter in the name of peace.
She opened her eyes and stood. The box on her desk caught her attention. It was a "gift" from when she and her crew had been the "guests" of Admiral Sito last year. She never bother to open it.
Might as well do it now, she thought. If things go badly I'll never get another chance.
She unlocked it and took it out a odd device, the likes she had never seen before. there was only one button on its surface and she pressed it.
Heath disappeared from the Los Lobos.

        Bajor (MU)
        ISS Enterprise

"oh hello. You're here. She's been waiting for you."
Heath blinked in surprise. Not only was she talking to her own science officer, but there were two of them standing in front of her.
The fact that one had white trill spots, the other dark spots and both wore the uniform of the other side told her she wasn't on her ship anymore.
The one with light spots touched the panel.
"Please inform the admiral that her guest has arrived."
        "Paris..."
        "Yes?" They both answered.
        "How did I get here?"
        "You're holding an interdimensional transporter."
"Obviously the admiral wanted to see you again at some point."
"Do you two always finish each others sentences?"
        "Sometimes," they answered together.
And thought one of them was bad, she thought.
        "Lazy!," came from behind her.
Heath turned to see Admiral Sito standing. Sito walked up and kissed her on the cheek again."
"Look at you," she started. "Holding off two fleets with just eight ships. You sure I can't get you to come work for me? I can find something other than leather for you to wear."
"Can we talk about that some other time? I have so many questions but I have to get back. Their..."
"yes. I know. I heard you. You were very creative. That line about his wife had me in tears laughing."
"Thanks. Now I have to get back..."
        An Idea came to her.
        "Thay, I need a favor."
"Those are four of my favorite words. But I do have some news for you."

        USS Los Lobos

Heath stepped to the bridge and went straight her tactical officer and handed her a PADD.
"Truzena, have security carry out these orders immediately. Then send encrypted to our fleet that operation 'Celestial Retribution' is under way."
She sat in her chair and smiled.
The name Los Lobos meant "The Wolves". Well Valdez was about to see their fangs.

I.S.S. Astute, The Siege of Antares

Valdez plotted Los Lobos' movements, "Tactical lock on to their shield generators, engines and weapons" he ordered. Tactical obeyed the order and locked on. "Fire" ordered Valdez and the Astute poured a broadside into the Los Lobos disrupting the shields long enough for Naynta to start beaming off crew. "Damn you" said Heath on the Los Lobos as reports came in that Trill crew were being beamed off.

"How any did you get Naynta?" asked Valdez over a secure line, "So far I've got 30 of her Trill crew and they are in my play ground" answered Naynta, "I'll keep beaming her crew off" Heath counter-attacked scoring a hit on the cloaking device knocking it offline. "Helm get us onto their six o clock, tactical fire into their shuttlebays on my mark" ordered Valdez. Heath seeing the danger turned to keep her shuttlebays out of her opponent's line of fire.

"This Heath has some skill" noted Valdez as he ordered Krasnova to to get within point blank range. Heath kept firing but the Asute's hull armour and retuned shields kept the worst of the fire out. "Tactical destroy their shield generators and weapons" ordered Valdez and tactical fired. The sheer volume of fire overloaded the generators and Heath's shield collapsed, the weapons array was the next hit and fused the phaser relays along Heath's starboard arc.

"He knows where to precisely hit us" noted Heath to her first officer. "Incoming" warned Heath's tactical officer as a quantum slammed into Los Lobo's sickbay. Doctor Naynta Lot ordered an evacuation and narrowly got her staff, her patients and herself off the that section just as a plasma conduit exploded ripping through decks 5,6 and 7 section alpha 4 through 8. "Damage report!" barked Heath as ops reported sickbay had been completely destroyed. "Decks 5,6 and 7 section alpha 4 through 8 completely gone"reported ops, "casualty reports coming in now, 50 dead 100 wounded"

Doctor Naynta Lot came onto the bridge, "All my patients are out and safe" she reported. "Disengage, round one goes to them" ordered Heath and she pulled back to the station. Asute had also taken damage with her cloak knocked out and her warp engines knocked offline. "I managed to beam more of her crew off during that last exchange" said Naynta over the secure line, now I have another 50 of her Trills in my holding cells even their wounded." Heath looked through her losses and noticed 80 were missing, Naynta then hailed.

"Layress, I want to show you something" said Naynta as she was stood in her play ground. "Naynta Lot, I presume you beamed those 80 off my ship. Return them or I'll get them back myself" replied Heath. Naynta then put the wounded Trills into her booths and put them to full power, "Layress you will surrender yourself to me or more of you crew suffer like Paris over here" said Naynta smiling. Heath was horrified at what was happening to her missing crew.

Heath now knew if the Astute attacked again, her ship and crew would have a harder time with this attack and prepared herself spiritually for death only to be interrupted by her ops officer, "warp signatures detected, I'm reading Alliance, Delta Alliance, Breen and Dominion and they are converging here. ETA 16 hours." Heath and her battered crews cheered, "The cavalry was on the way to relieve them.

"Admiral, warp signatures detected, more enemy ships are on their way here. ETA 16 hours" reported Townsend. "The game is afoot" said Valdez, "we have 16 hours to deal with this Heath, all ships commence attack on TF 113. Show them no mercy." Heath now faced the entire Terran onslaught she had to hold out 16 hours despite being badly outnumbered. "Get a message to the anti Terran resistance, we need them here and we need them now" she ordered. "Nathan, we're about to be outflanked" reported Naynta. "We've got help on the way and they should be here anytime now" replied Valdez as the I.S.S. Towton and Victoria's battle fleet emerged out of a series of temporal rifts.

"Hail the Astute" ordered Trianna, Valdez's face came on her screen. "Dad, everything is converging on this location. I'm helping the empire even if you like it or not. I've brought friends" said Trianna. "Thank you Trianna, but you are here for a harvest. Enemy personnel are fair game but not Heath, I want her alive. Imperial personnel are off limits understand?" asked Valdez. "Crystal, tell me where you need me" replied Trianna. The Towton took position on Astute's wing as Victoria's fleet closed in on the station.

For Heath the situation was getting worse by the minute as another series of temporal rifts opened around her outnumbered task force and the unknown ships took position around Heath. "Are they Imperial" asked Heath as she looked worried. "They're hailing us" reported her ops officer. "Put them through" ordered Heath and a Betazoid face appeared on the screen. "Captain Heath, do you require assistance?" asked the captain of the lead ship, "Who are you?" she asked. "Captain Ibril Valdez, commander of the U.S.S. Hood. I see you have grand father and mother helping you." said the Betazoid captain. "We've got 16 hours until the cavalry arrives, could you take position to help cover us?" asked Heath.

"Captain Heath, consider it done. All ships form a defensive cordon around TF 113, nothing must get through" ordered Captain Valdez. "Sir, 16 hours will be a long time" reported his first officer. "Arm all weapons and bring temporal shields online, we're going to war" ordered Captain Valdez.

Uhhh? I'm not killing off the crew of the Los Lobos, that is @galatt 's decision, and I doubt he would do that. However I will ponder some temporal stuff in case he does.

Still ... looking over this battle ...

Sito: "The actions of these few captains has brought up serious concerns about my own ship commanders abilities to command, you're failure to secure the shipyards has been noted. You're to report to Terra Spacedock for debriefing."

          "Damage report."
"Shields at 54%, Starboard phasers offline..."
"Enough," Heath barked. "Put me through to the Valiant."
          Captain McBrocken appeared on screen
"My god Lazy. Are you alright?"
"No we're not. And its not going to get better. Augie, you are now in charge of the 113th." McBroken said nothing but saluted and disconnected.
"Activate Thalaron matrix. and prepare to fire. Even if we miss, we'll Incinerate those ships that attacked the planet. Ahead full impulse."

"Here she comes," Naynta said. "Those Heath's don't know when to quit."
          "Prepare to take out her..."
The torrent of Thalaron radiation erupted from The Los Lobos' deflector dish.
          "Evasive!"
The Asute banked hard, the cone grazing its hull.
          "What was..."
Naynta's words were cut off by a blood curlding scream cut across the comms.
          "Jodi!"
Thyey watched in horror as the skin on the left side of Jodi's face along with her arm calcified and crumbled away.
          "Full salvo," ordered Valdez.
All heath could do was smile at her small victory as the torpedoes slammed in to the bridge.

          (Prime Universe)
          I.S.S. Enterprise

The Enterprise emerges from a rift 500 meters away from the action.

"I see what she wanted now, Let's make this a bit fairer shall we?" Sito said turning to face her officers. "Target the Los Lobos, and the Astute, inform them they're to withdraw from the conflict zone, or their ships will be added to the rather extensive debris field in the Badlands."

Captain Sito entered the bridge, taking her place in the first officer's chair next to Admiral Sito. "Are you sure this is wise? This comes close to the path of treason."

Sito shocks her head in disagreement at what the captain said. "It's never been treason to remove incompetence from the command structure." Sito turned to her tactical officer. "Kava, target their port nacelle struct, I want to see what that ship looks like with one warp engine."

Sito smirked. "Tell them failure to comply will shorten their lifespan considerably."

Captain Sito, examining her console noted the damage the U.S.S. Los Lobos had taken. "Ma'am, Heath's ship has taken extensive damage, they've taken a lot of casualties, and I'm picking up crew with their quantum signature onboard Naynta's Los Lobos."

Admiral Sito, leaned over to confirm what her counterpart had just informed her. "Transport me to the bridge of the Los Lobos!"

"Ma'am?" Kava looked shocked at the order she was just given.

"You heard me!" Sito yelled rushing to the transporter pad.

          (Los Lobos Bridge)

Sito materialized on the bridge of the Los Lobos, looking around at the once proud crew's bodies scattered around the bridge. "Lazy?!" Sito screamed, stumbling over the corpse of R'Shee, Sito found Heath unconscious near the captain's chair.

Picking up Heath's unconscious body, Sito heard a faint voice calling to her from the Conn. "Help ... help me ... please."

"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry." Sito whimpered. Raising her sidearm at the injured officer, "I promise this will be quick." Sito said, discharging her weapon, killing the officer.

"You can still save your crew, Captain, but it will come with a high price." Sito said while carrying Heath away from the fires.

          "Enterprise, two to transport."

Both Sito and Heath dematerialized, leaving the Los Lobos bridge of the crippled vessel.

          (Enterprise Bridge)

Materlizing back on the Enterprise, Sito had her guard take Heath to sickbay.

          "Report!" Sito barked.

"They've sent boarding teams over to the Los Lobos!" Paris yelled from her station. "I was also picking up multiple transporter signatures coming from the Los Lobos."

"Transmit a message to one of the Federation ships, advise them to target the Terran deflectors. Without them they'll be stranded in this universe." Sito then turned to Aunlel. "Get us out of here, leave these fools to whatever fate hands them."

          Battle of Antares

Valdez had narrowly escaped the bridge with Townsend, Solat and Krasnova, everyone else was dead. "This Heath must die now" said Valdez, we're relocating to the battle bridge." ordered Valdez. "She must, she killed my sister. It's personal" replied Naynta over the channel. "Those ships have formed a cordon around her." "I got this, tactical target the Resurrection and fire on her power grid" ordered Trianna. The Towton fired a full antiproton spread which slammed through the shields of the Resurrection smashing her main power grid.

"Damage report" barked Papela as the reports came in. "Deck 3 through 9 section beta 1 through 9 are gone. Reading massive decompression in the wards." reported her ops officer. "Any survivors?" asked Papela. The ops officer just shook her head. "No survivors in those sections." noted Papela dishearteningly. "Resurrection crippled" reported Trianna. "That should limit their ability to treat casualties." said Valdez now on his battle bridge.

"All ships storm them" ordered Naynta and the entire combined fleet attacked the station from all sides. On the Hood, Captain Ibril Valdez prepared to meet the charge, "You ready little brother?" asked his first officer Cmdr Teanna Jane Valdez. "Prepare to defend yourselves." ordered Captain Valdez. On the Los Lobos Heath was barking orders and TF 113 formed up alongside their allies.

Heath held her ground valiantly making the Terrans pay a heavy price fighting like the Spartans of Thermopylae. "All ships target the U.S.S. Los Lobos, we're putting Heath out of her misery." ordered Naynta as an armada of Alliance, Breen, Dominion and Delta Alliance entered the battle. B'Vat's resistance fighters and the RSU warbirds slammed into Admiral Heath's rearguard group. Naynta was forced to divert 5th fleet to protecting her rear as Valdez carved into the enemy supported by Trianna and Victoria's forces. After a bloody 15 hour brawl both sides took stock disengaged to plan their next moves. Heath was nowhere to be found and the U.S.S. Los Lobos was adrift. On the Hood, both Valdez siblings were relieved, "We've had our Iconia moment" said Captain Valdez, "Old family saying" replied Cmdr Valdez.

On Astute Naynta and Valdez were livid, "Why Sito?" said Valdez who was completely enraged. Naynta shared the same sentiment, they had served Sito loyally and she had thrown them away. "She set us up" replied Naynta over the channel, "how could you do that to your own sister?" Both admirals decided to take matters into their own hands and called a retreat, they engaged their warp engines and set course for deep space. "We won't forget or forgive this Sito" said Valdez, "Agreed" said Naynta. "The Federation will feel your pain Naynta, Jodi will be avenged" replied Valdez, "Sito, your time will come. Mark my words"

Naynta angrily threw a PADD across the room. "Nathan, will you help me avenge my sister?" she asked. "You didn't need to ask Naynta, I'm with you on this" replied Valdez, "seen what I'm towing?" "You've stolen the U.S.S. Los Lobos, only our flagships get that weapon Heath used on us" replied Naynta, "Layress, thank you for that weapon. We'll put it to good use on Federation words"

Trianna read the report, "He just had to push it, next time I see him, I'll finish the job" she said to Regent Lot. "Good, you are the person he would least expect" replied Papela. "Say the word and he's a dead man." replied Trianna. "Kestrella, you and your protege here are to hunt down her father. Make sure he dies" ordered Papela. "What about Naynta?" asked Trianna, "Bring me Naynta alive" ordered Papela. "My people are already keeping an eye on mother" answered Trianna, "as far as she's concerned, father was killed in action." "Good, both of you make sure you find them" replied Papela and she dismissed them.

In Trianna's office, Trianna accessed her network. "You can spy on everyone on Betazed and they would not notice" noted Kestrella. "It's why I'm feared" replied Trianna, "I've had wind of a shadow network in operation, I may know someone who could be very useful to our mission" Kestrella asked "Who?" "Let's just say I need to get her attention and my programs have worked as intended. I now know the location of every assassin across the Empire and I need to find one by the codename Shade" answered Trianna. "You want her to come to us?" asked Kestrella, "Indeed" answered Trianna, "in fact she may be out on the hunt for my father. The emperor does not like officers going rogue" "You even changed your last name to distance yourself from him" noted Kestrella to Trianna. "I'm using mother's family name of Bray instead of Valdez" answered Trianna.

          Betazed (Prime)

Trianna had watched the battle from start to finish, looking at the casualties list, she was horrified. "1400 ships took part in that battle, the enemy got away with about 150. 800 ships lost on both sides with 25,000 casualties." she noted. "It was costly to both sides. My counterpart and Naynta are not defeated yet, they got away to fight another day. We have not heard the last from them yet." replied Valdez. "They'll be back" answered Trianna. "Computer, put me through to Fleet Admiral Sito" ordered Trianna. "Miss Valdez, how may I help you?" asked Sito. "I'm contacting you to tell you both Admirals Lot and Valdez have escaped with 150 of their ships. They also took the Los Lobos with them and have access to a thalaron weapon" said Trianna. "Fleet Admiral, my counterpart is slippery, expect to hear from him and Lot again at some point. They'll be back" warned Valdez. "Thank you for the warning Mr Valdez, Miss Valdez thank you for bringing this to my attention" answered Sito and she cut the channel.

          I.S.S. Towton

Trianna smiled as she harvested souls during the battle, she felt stronger and more powerful. "Thank you dad, helm set a course to match the Imperials. they will need all the help they can get" ordered Trianna. The Towton activated it's cloak and shadowed the Terran ships. "Hail the Los Lobos and Astute" she ordered and both Naynta and Valdez appeared on the screen, "Bad time Trianna" said Valdez, "Don't test me" said Naynta. "I have a proposition for you both, you help me save my family and I'll help you save Jodi from dying" said Trianna. "What's in it for you?" asked Naynta. "I get my family back and you'll get your sister back, Naynta do we have a deal?" replied Trianna.

Naynta consulted with Valdez on Trianna's deal. "Trianna, how would we go about saving your family?" asked Valdez. "Rather simple, first we go back to the Empire around 8 months ago and rescue mother before she is assassinated and then we go back to 2390 in our universe to save my father just before the battle of Archanis" replied Trianna, "saving Jodi is going to be the hard part. We need to beam her off her ship just before the thalaron blast hits the Cutless. History will record that Captain Jodi Iodokar was killed in action at the Battle of Antares, but really she'll still be very much alive."

"Our only option, lets take it" said Naynta, "lets install these thalaron deflectors to our ships. The Federation will lose some remote colony worlds and they won't know who did it." Trianna laughed and said "As long as I get the souls. If you don't mind, I'll stick with you for a while" "We really don't have a choice do we?" asked Valdez. "No you don't and you will need all the help you can get. Like it or not, you are stuck with me for a while. Naynta, I know what it's like to lose family, I will help you get your revenge" answered Trianna.

"Nathan, the amount of information I've got on Sito will help us" said Naynta, "Trianna, you can take us anywhere in time, could you arrange for Sito to have an "accident"?" asked Naynta. "What kind of accident? airlock or her flagship being sabotaged during construction?" asked Trianna, "Up to you" answered Naynta. "Sito will die, she does not know it yet and it will be when she least expects it" replied Valdez. "Let me put the knife in her, I owe her that for Jodi" answered Naynta. "Best time to get her would be after she's reforged the empire, a temporal device with detonator hidden on the Enterprise during construction. When Sito celebrates her victory in 2410 over Trill the device will detonate destroying the Enterprise and every soul on-board her" replied Trianna.

Valdez decided to let the two argue over how to kill Sito and he had an idea, "Ladies, all we need to do is go back just before the Battle of Antares. Heath goaded us into making a mistake. We do this right and our problems now will never happen and Jodi will still be alive. We would not make that mistake twice and we won't use WMDs either. Conventional only." "Help me with my problem and you've got a deal" said Trianna. "Deal" said both Naynta and Valdez. "We've got a plan let's get onto it. All ships scatter across the Federation, you are given permission for unrestricted warfare on the Alliance forces" said Naynta.

The Astute and Los Lobos left the area after removing and copying the thalaron deflector array and installing them. Towton followed under cloak and began to open a temporal rift to Betazed (MU) Stardate 2410/6. "Phase one is make sure the Red Teanna Valdez survives the assassination which killed her in this timeline, phase two IS to intercept Red Valdez and BG Inquisitor and stop him from going back to 2390. Phase 3 is to appear, kill and replace our counterparts and not launch the cross over" briefed Naynta. "What about Sito?" asked Trianna. "If this works Sito will not be a problem, no one will notice the change to the timeline. If Heath wants me I'll fight her but no one else crosses, understood?" said Valdez, both Naynta and Trianna nodded and said "crystal clear, I'll eliminate my counterpart on the I.S.S. Los Lobos and assume command, Valdez you do the same on Astute." said Naynta. "Let's clear our names" said Valdez and Operation Tempus Redemption began.

The U.S.S. Los Lobos was left adrift near Bajor with her survivors still onboard and Naynta even beamed her haul over to the crippled Los Lobos. "We've got a operation to carry out, if we succeed we clear our names as this would never happen. You are not dying again Jodi" said Naynta. "If we succeed in this operation, you and your empress will get our only two Thalaron deflectors. You could then harvest any non Imperial Loyalist world you choose as a thank you for helping" said Valdez. Naynta agreed, having seen the effects of thalaron radiation she was repulsed at the use of WMDs.

I.S.S. Towton, Betazed Stardate 2410/6 (MU) Alternate timeline

Both Admirals Valdez and Lot had put their plan into motion, to make sure no one tried to stop them they transferred to the Towton with the survivors from their crews and beamed the thalaron deflectors aboard before scuttling their ships. To any Imperial agent tracking them they had disappeared. In Betazed orbit Valdez beamed down after shaving his beard off and took position near the pond in the Regent's grounds. Naynta having disguised herself watched the gate.

Their target appeared being followed by a suspicious individual, seeing the phaser pistol aimed at Teanna's back they sprang into action. Valdez pushed Teanna to the ground as Naynta disarmed the would be assassin before attaching a transporter chip onto Teanna. "Mrs Valdez, this may get a bit confusing" said Naynta as she gave the signal to beam up all three up to the Towton. "Where am I?" asked Teanna. "Somewhere you are safe" answered Trianna as she swung around her captain's chair, "I sent them to save you from being assassinated." "Thank you I guess" answered Teanna still confused at the sudden rescue.

"Next stop, find your Imperial counterpart Nathan" said Lot, "time to stop him from making a fatal mistake." "Set the temporal drive for stardate 2410/7, time to save father from a bad mistake" said Trianna. "What of your younger counterpart?" asked Naynta. "One thing at a time, father is main priority. If I can get my counterpart out as well I will do" said Trianna. The Towton just jumped a few months ahead and Trianna plucked Red Valdez and and her younger counterpart off the I.S.S. Blenheim. "What the hell is going on?" asked Red Valdez to Trianna. "That's me" said Trianna's counterpart. "And another version of me" noted Red Valdez, "What's going on Trianna?" he asked afterwards. "I'm saving my family, when I lost you both, I let my feelings influence my judgment. I cannot change but my younger self can" said Trianna.

"Naynta" said Red Valdez. "Admiral, you can trust me, we're on a mission to rewrite a wrong" replied Naynta, "In fact, it was your counterpart who decided we should change the timeline to stop a tragedy." "You lost someone and you want to save her and stop your younger selves from making a mistake" said Teanna. "My sister Jodi, I learned a painful lesson that day, with WMDs both sides lose." said Naynta. "A worthy goal Miss Lot" said Teanna. "Next location the Badlands stardate 2411/2, time to stop ourselves making a mistake." said Yellow Valdez.

The Towton arrived at the Badlands and Trianna immediately beamed both Lot and Yellow Valdez onto their respective ships swapping with their younger selves. "This is Admiral Lot to all ships, disarm and destroy all biogenic and protomatter materials" ordered Naynta. Her crew followed her order unaware that their commanding officer had been replaced, it was the same on the Astute. Naynta and Valdez would not make the same mistake twice, a mistake that killed Jodi. "Me and my friends will enjoy the gifts you gave us, anytime you need help, I'll be around. I'll pick up mother's counterpart and my counterpart here and get them over the border into Federation territory on the way" said Trianna and the Towton left, the older Trianna was protected from the timeline change by the temporal shields as she dropped off her family at Hathon on the Prime Bajor. "Your family is safe now Nathan, you don't need to worry about them and I know you consider me to be like a sister, thanks" said Naynta, "I'd keep Trianna in isolation until she cools down and can be rehabilitated" she finished by recommending. "I'll give Heath a good fight, just make sure Sito cannot get to them if things go wrong" requested Valdez, "I will do, fight well and bring honor to your name" replied Naynta as she closed the channel.

At Antares, Heath suspicious of the lack of activity since the 5th Fleet had linked up with 3rd Fleet threw down her challenge. Valdez went through on his own to speak to Heath, "Captain Heath, you know I cannot surrender, my honor won't allow it. How about we settle this one on one with no tricks, WMDs and deception?" requested Valdez, "Let's just say, a previous version of you had to lose a piece of herself to beat me. If you disable my ship, I'll hand myself over however If you are disabled, the Federation must hand over the Antares shipyards. Let us fight warrior vs warrior. Do you accept those terms?"

Meanwhile Naynta hailed Jodi, Jodi answered and asked why was Naynta shedding tears, "Jodi, I'll tell you afterwards but it's good to see you alright" replied Naynta. "Nathan, thank you for helping me save Jodi, I will not forget that." she thought and Jodi picked up on that, "How many drinks is this one going to take?" she asked to Naynta. "A lot Jodi, a lot indeed" replied Naynta.

"I've been captured and kept alive for a reason. I'm a hostage to ensure my father co-operates, I must work out a way of getting out of here but I must guard my thoughts from my counterpart. She has been plotting to kill me on a daily basis, I watched her smash my prosthetic leg to pieces and she laughed about it. They have tried to re-educate me into seeing the Empire as a good thing but I must resist and survive until I can get out.

So far I've been well treated but having a bedroom with a force field around the doors and windows is not freedom. I must stay strong if I'm to survive."

Heath gestured to mute the comm channel. She addressed her bridge officers.
"T'Prranng, evacuate the forward half of the saucer. Siobhan divert all power except for shields including life-support in to the engines. Truzena, concentrate all shield power to the forward shield. Aunlel set course 0.0 by 0.0, maximum impulse at my command."
              "ma'am that's..."
              "I know. Do it."
She gestured to reopen the comm.
"Admiral, we can spend the next few hours circling each other. Cloaking, decloaking, sniping waiting for that perfect kill shot. I propose we, as you humans say, cut to the chase."
"in what way?" Valdez responded curious.
              "Let's see who blinks first."
              "What do mean?"
              Heath smiled.
"All hands," she announced over the intercom, "Brace for impact. Aunlel, go."
The impulse engines on the Los Lobos roared to life sending the ship on a collision course with Asute.

              Antares System

"She's playing chicken" noted Valdez, Solat asked what 'Chicken' was and Valdez explained whoever flinched first lost. "I hope the bow armour holds or this is going to get rough" said Townsend, "Camille, don't panic. I done far crazier things in the past." replied Valdez. "Adrienne, have you heard of a maneuver called the Crazy Ivan?" asked the admiral. "How drunken do you want the mule bucking and kicking?" asked Krasnova, "Very drunk Adrienne" answered Valdez. "Like my last date" joked Brooks and Valdez told Brooks "no more jokes for now please."

"Los Lobos closing to 600m" reported Townsend, "Let Heath get within 200m then helm, I want this ship bucking and kicking" ordered Valdez. "Sir" acknowledged Krasnova, "everyone hold onto your lunches, it's going to get wild." Heath closed to 300m and Valdez watched and waited until Townsend reported "200m" and Valdez just said "Now" and Astute banked under Los Lobos and before Heath could react, the Astute began bucking and kicking to dodge the phaser fire the from Los Lobos. "Rear photons, lock onto their shield grid and fire" ordered Valdez. Brooks obliged and Heath dodged the shot.

"Well played Heath" noted Valdez, "Hail her." Heath's face appeared on the screen. "Layress, could you please make sure my family gets asylum in the Federation?. If I lose I don't want the Empire hurting them to punish me. My Trianna will need to be kept in a secure location until she can be rehabilitated" A call then came from engineering, Heath had knocked out his impulse engines and shields. "I lost one crew before, never again. This is the Admiral, all hands stand down. Get a message to Heath, my crew are to to be given amnesty. Beam me over to the Los Lobos" said Valdez, "No more fighting and senseless deaths"

At that same time the Red Trianna beamed Valdez's wife and daughter onto Antares Station itself. They were immediately surrounded by security and detained.

              Badlands (MU) Alternate Timeline

On the Los Lobos, Naynta Lot was monitoring the duel. "Well played both of them" she said to Jodi. Jodi was a bit shocked at first before asking her sister why she did the things she did. "Me and Nathan with help from an alternate version of Trianna changed the timeline to save you from suffering an horrific death. He considers us both to be like sisters to him" answered Naynta. "How did I die?" asked Jodi and Naynta showed her telepathically.

Jodi was nearly sick before answering "Thanks for stopping that from happening." "I lost a sister once, never again" replied Naynta. "Naynta, you've changed. If you want revenge on Sito, I'll help. That witch set us up, there will be a reckoning one day" replied Jodi. "I arranged for Nathan's family to be smuggled out of the empire as well. If he loses, mother will hurt them and I don't want Sito getting them either. Trianna has become something like a niece to me" answered Naynta.

"How are we going to take Sito on?" asked Jodi. "We don't but I know someone who will do the job and I've sent the message to her" said Naynta. The Towton appeared and Red Trianna hailed them, "Consider it done" said Trianna and she took the Towton back to 2381. At Dinasia, Trianna snuck in and planted a Protomatter device inside the Enterprise's warp core and disappeared before anyone noticed.

"Oh Sito, you won't live to betray my "father" and my friends" thought Trianna. At Trill in 2411, Trianna watched with delight as a mighty explosion ripped through the Enterprise destroying the ship. "Betrayal repaid Sito" said Trianna. Naynta and Jodi watched the destruction over subspace and smiled. "Thank you Trianna" said Naynta, Jodi noted that Sito might have gotten off the Enterprise before it blew. "Send the MACOs to Trill, if Sito has survived they are to arrest her." said Naynta. "On what charge?" asked Jodi. "High Treason" replied Naynta, "She told the Federation where to target us, we won't give her chance to betray us again" "What about Valdez, is he coming back?" asked Jodi. "I've got a feeling he wants nothing more to do with the empire and will not return" replied Naynta, "Let him find somewhere away from his past and live in peace. I picked up his fighting days are numbered. I owe him that"

              Original timeline, Betazed (MU)

Trianna had got Shade's attention, "Miss Valdez, how did you get into this network and why?" asked Emma Roy. "My father and Admiral Lot have gone rogue. My last name is Bray not Valdez, my father no longer exists to me" replied Trianna. "Let me guess, you both need a ship to start your hunt." replied Emma. "Would be helpful, I'm acting on orders from the Regent and Fleet Admiral Sito." replied Trianna.

"One rogue admiral is dangerous Miss Bray but you are dealing with two. I know what happened at Antares" replied Emma, "Will you and Miss Lot over there need my support?" "My father is to be killed, Admiral Lot is to be brought back alive" replied Trianna. "Miss Bray, our goals are aligned then. Await my response and Miss Bray, delete that program you used and don't do it again" replied Emma. "Trianna, you are full of surprises" noted Kestrella to her. "I have to be in my line of work" replied Trianna back, "My mother won't forget your loyalty. I see you even had your people put your own mother under house arrest" responded Kestrella. "It's a precaution, she's very close to my father" replied Trianna.

"It's a wise one, good Miss Bray" said Kestrella, "Follow me to the holding cells, I want to see your interrogation technique." "Yes maam" replied Trianna as she saw her mother being put into the cells. "Trianna, if you do this, you are no longer my daughter" said Teanna. "I'll get no joy from this but it has to be done. Guards leave us" said Trianna as she began her interrogation. Kestrella watched as Trianna got to work breaking her mother, "You are no daughter of mine" yelled Teanna. "Good, you are weak and a poor excuse of a Betazoid. I know where my loyalty is, you on the other hand are misguided and married to a traitor" replied Trianna, "my father no longer exists to me"

After several hours, Trianna signaled her guards in and ordered her mother to be put back into a cell for the Regent to decide what to do with her. "Ouch, I don't want to get on your bad side" said Kestrella, "my mother will get the report and Teanna's confession" "Send this out on all Imperial channels, time for those traitors have a dose of reality" ordered Trianna.

              Federation/Deep space border, Original Timeline

Both Valdez and Lot were on the run, knowing they had Imperial agents tracking their every move they had to be inventive. "We cannot go back to the empire, Sito will have us killed on sight" said Valdez over the channel to Lot, "Sito's dead next time we see her" replied Naynta. Naynta was still visibly upset about Jodi's death and she wanted revenge. "What options to we have?" asked Naynta.

"One we wage a guerrilla war on the Federation or two we go into deep space and find a habitable planet and lay low for a while" suggested Valdez. "Another 10 ships have dropped out of the convoy, we are in no fit state to fight a war, the planet idea sounds good if we can reach one" replied Naynta. "We might need to scatter the fleets, tell them to make their own way back home" suggested Valdez. "It'll conserve our resources with less mouths to feed and ship parts" replied Naynta.

The order went through and the fleets scattered into deep space to avoid detection, Astute and Los Lobos stuck together but both ships were badly damaged they were beginning to fall apart. Valdez thinking quickly called in Red Trianna and the Towton appeared. "Need me to pick you and your crews up?" she asked. "Yes please Trianna" answered Valdez and Trianna beam up both crews and the thalaron deflectors. The Towton left the area as both Astute and Los Lobos exploded.

"Admirals, my boss would like to speak to you" said Trianna, "She could have an offer you two cannot refuse" Both admirals settled down on the bridge of the Towton for their journey to see Empress Victoria. Trianna soon picked up an Imperial signal and it showed Teanna in a cell on Betazed bloodied and broken. Yellow Trianna then appeared onscreen with "Hello traitors, like what I did to dear old mother?" "You little......." said Valdez before Trianna cut him off mid sentence. "Fleet Admiral Sito gives you a choice, come back and face her justice and I release mother here. Refuse, you don't need an imagination to know what will happen and it will be slow, her fate is up to you" she said smiling as she enjoyed making Valdez suffer before cutting the channel.

"Trianna, can we make a quick trip to our Betazed, it's time for a jailbreak" said Valdez. "It'll ruin Sito's day losing that leverage" said Naynta. "Consider it done" said Trianna and the Towton made a quick jump into Betazed orbit and beamed out Teanna and took Yellow Trianna before leaving quietly. "Trianna is lost to us" said Teanna, "She has gone beyond redemption by hurting her own family" "We'll get her back one way or another, the Regent is controlling her" replied Valdez as he hugged his wife. "That's what I like to see, my "parents" back together" said Trianna smiling. "Thank you Trianna" said Teanna as she took a seat on the Towton's bridge and they were back on their way to meet with Empress Victoria. "Not a problem mother" said Trianna.

In the Towton's brig, Valdez had Trianna put into a cell. "Let me out traitor" yelled Trianna. "The Regent is controlling you, snap out of it" replied Valdez. "Fleet Admiral Sito will send out a rescue party to find and retrieve me" said Trianna. "She's only been using you. Once you are no longer useful to her she'll just discard you like she did to me and Naynta" replied Valdez. "I have no parents" screamed Trianna. "Yes you do, Sito set us up and drove a wedge into our family. If you don't believe me you can read my mind" replied Valdez. "That Bajoran witch, she warned the Federation of your attack on Antares then tried to have you killed to cover it up. She killed my friend Jodi with that warning" answered Trianna after reading her father's mind. "Trianna, you were misguided into turning on the people who love you. You are staying in that cell for not only your safety but everyone else's as well" replied Valdez and he left the room.

On Betazed, Kestrella had seen Trianna being plucked out of the room and told the Regent that Trianna had been abducted. Emma Roy immediately heard about the abduction and got ready to start her hunt for Valdez and Lot. Her orders from the emperor were clear and precise, find and terminate Nathan Valdez and Naynta Lot. Trianna and Mrs Valdez were considered to be expendable.

                  Stardate 2432
Defera Sector, Levtro System (Prime Universe)

He'd closed his eyes accepting the inevitable... Warp Engines had been disabled, his shields were down, his force surrounded and he was outnumbered... He'd ordered those who still could to flee. He breathed in slowly again, again, and again... Why wasnt the torpedo hitting his ship, the screaming had faded. Was he dead? Had it been so quick that he felt nothing?

What was happening? He felt something soft, was he lying down?
Veel'Riz blinked blearily and finding he quickly regretting the decision as oppressive bright light fully obscuring his vision he groaned- wait what?!!

He snapped upwards leaping off of the medical table tackling a rather tall physician , throwing his elbow into the Vulcan woman's stomach. He took note of his surroundings for the first time. He appeared to be in a medical facility- largely resembling the main military ER on Star-Fortress Vanguard. He ran out of the room, ignoring the shouting of the workers.

He barreled into the hall as he hearted security being contacted, and sprinted to a nearby armory, reaching with difficulty to hit the key pad. "Star Commander Veel'Riz, please stand down. You're safe, there's no need to be sos hostile."

The Romulan turned craning his neck to look up at the Reman behind him, stealing a glance at the plasma pistol on his hip. "Shadows help me your tall," Veel'Riz began in a high pitched voice he didn't recognize.

"You're a little shorter than you were the last time you were awake Sir..... Although I imagine that has something to do with being a 12 year old body again." The Marine chuckled, crossing his arms smiling. The Romulan only gave him a confused expression before looked at his reflection in the polished floor.

                  -One hour later-
Veel'Riz sat at one end of the conference room, as a group of other high ranked officers and doctors finally finished awnsering his questions.
"Who's idea was this exactly?" He said.

They ignored that one, instead continuing with the explanation of having gathered as much of his original corpse as possible and what they could of his brain matter. Since then Dominion scientists had been trying to find a way to retrieve fragments of his memory to transfer to the new body they'd been growing.

"Your telling me you risked everything I am on an experimental procedure.... I'm old you know." Veel'Riz now little more than a adult in a child's body started to say as he tried and failed to touch the floor with his toes. "Though I appreciate the new living arm.... And I'm sure every one involved is going to be launching at the person going through puberty twice... As if you all didn't get enough science notes."

He lamented, he'd forgotten how short he was for most of his youth.

U.S.S. Los Lobos, Bajor System (Prime)

The Los Lobos pulled into port, Captain Heath taking no chances had her guests escorted to the conference room at Deep Space 9 under heavy guard. "Admiral Valdez, you will have to stand trial for the Celes and Risa Massacres, my Betazoids picked up remorse for your actions. Co-operate with us and I might be able to get you a lighter sentence instead of life in prison." said Heath. "Layress, that empire I served all my life was evil. I'll tell you everything I know about Sito, how she uses people and then discards them after they've outlived their usefulness." replied Valdez.

"Admiral, your family has been given asylum and your crew amnesty as you requested. Let's work out a deal, you denounce the Empire publicly and co-operate with our intelligence people you might avoid a lengthy prison sentence" replied Heath. "I'll do it and I want Sito to hear all her crimes being aired all over the Federation and the Empire. How she tipped off an enemy state in a time of war, that is high treason" replied Valdez. "Are you defecting from the Empire?" asked Heath.

"I'm through with the Empire, they committed unspeakable war crimes. Some of those crimes, I took part in. I'm not proud of my actions, I'm remorseful for them. It took nearly losing a sister in arms and nearly losing my family for that to sink in, I'll talk to your people but I want someone who I'm familiar with. Those are my terms" replied Valdez. "I'll get your daughter's counterpart and her father to speak to you, they can be trusted and they have no love for the Empire either" said Heath,"Your family will be relocated to Earth but they will be under supervision until they have adapted to Federation rules and behavior" "That's all I ask, keep them safe and away from the Empire" replied Valdez, "I'll talk to your people and you" Heath ordered the Los Lobos to Betazed, she knew who to call and she called ahead to say she was on her way

This is his denouncement of Sito
                  ,
"Fleet Admiral Sito Thay is a traitor to the empire. She tipped off our enemies to an attack we launched and then tried to kill her commanders to cover her treachery up, she cost both sides way too many lives needlessly to remove some commanders. In my hand I have the communication she sent telling the Federation Starfleet where to shoot us. She will use someone for only as long as they are useful to her then discard them when they are no longer useful. She is responsible for the deaths of billions, I know I helped carry out those orders. Something I've come to regret, Sito has to answer for her crimes one day because there will be a reckoning"

                  Terran Empire, Alternate Timeline (MU)

Valdez's denouncement of Sito was heard all over the empire, "Get Naynta here, I want to know if they are true" ordered Papela Lot. "Did he just accuse Sito Thay of high treason?" asked Kestrella Lot shocked, "He did and Naynta might prove those right" replied Papela. "Need him to disappear?" asked Kestrella, Papela declined the request, her family were not mentioned. "The Valdez family are gone as well, they're nowhere in the Empire" reported Kestrella.

On the Los Lobos, Naynta watched and laughed, "Did you know he was going to do that to Sito?" asked Jodi. Naynta smiled and said "yes I did, well played Nathan" A message then came through, Naynta had been recalled back to Betazed. "I'll hold here" said Jodi, "have fun with mother, I would like to see Sito's face now"

On the I.S.S. Towton, Trianna decided to retrieve her family, the time spend with her father's counterpart had triggered something in her. "Trianna, thanks, next time warn us" said Red Valdez. "This ship should be family run" replied Trianna, "and there's someone who wants to speak to you" as Solat entered the room. "Solat, my old friend. I remember the conversations we had over the chess board" said Valdez. "Nathan, it's agreeable to see you. In one timeline you died saving the crew" replied Solat, "You want a first officer, you've got one." Valdez considered this and Trianna relinquished the command chair to her father, "No Trianna, you keep that chair, it suits you. From the reports I've read, you can be formidable but your attacks lack discipline. Would you be willing to learn from me?" responded Valdez.

"Solat can be a bit drab at being an instructor, you on the other hand have imagination. Like how you lured in a traitor Tellarite fleet and then encircled them, my enemies call me the Witch of Betazed. The witch's cauldron, I approve of the name. Can you teach me that first?" replied Trianna. "Lets start with something a little more basic first" answered Valdez, "both of you will be taught at the same time with your lessons" and both Triannas settled down for their first lesson from Valdez in starship command. Trianna's counterpart noted to Valdez, "She's sharing her body with something destructive" "Don't mind, I only feast on my enemies' souls, you are family to me so you are safe" answered Trianna. "This family is not exactly normal" quipped Valdez, Trianna just smiled and laughed.

"A younger sister, this should be interesting" said Trianna. "Try not to kill each other" said Teanna as she took a seat on the bridge.

                  I.S.S. Towton, Original Timeline

"Where's Naynta?" asked Yellow Valdez. "She's in the mess hall emptying half the bar" replied Trianna, "she really needs some support right about now" "Thank you Trianna" replied Valdez as he left for the mess hall. Arriving at the mess hall he saw Naynta drowning her sorrows. "I'm not usually like this, I've killed and felt nothing but losing someone close just hits you hard deep down" said Naynta as she finished the bottle of brandy. "Never is easy Naynta, you either let it drag you down for the rest of your life or it makes you stronger and that's from experience" said Valdez, "you should have asked, you are a survivor, if you get knocked down you pick yourself back up and having friends who care enough to help is always special"

"Thank you, I'll sober up and speak to Teanna in the morning. Time to pick myself up, our purpose is to gather a fleet and declare war on Sito" said Naynta. "Maybe this Empress Victoria can be accommodating in that arrangement, Sito will expect our old obsolete fleet. We need to convince Empress Victoria to help us" replied Valdez. "How, we need proof of Sito's guilt" answered Naynta. "Trianna downloaded all the records from Antares, plenty of evidence right there including trips to our universe by Captain Heath Layress by personal invitation of Sito" replied Valdez. "Oh dear Sito, sleeping with the enemy can also be added to the charge list, you have been a very naughty Bajoran" said Naynta.

"Make 2 copies then, One lot for ourselves, one for Empress Victoria and we broadcast the other to Imperial Intelligence. I know of someone who would find that of interest" replied Valdez, "and you've met her" replied Valdez. "Sito is going to have some very bad days, who knows maybe they will do the job for us" joked Naynta. "Trianna, could you send this file to Terra just after the Battle of Antares?" asked Valdez over him combadge. "It's sent" replied Trianna back. "Try talking your way out of this one Sito. Make one last copy for the Regent, she'll then know the real reason why Jodi died" said Valdez, "I'll be watching this live over the view screen" said Naynta smiling. Valdez personally sent the message to the Regent and sat back and waited for the fireworks

Hang on ... hang on ...

My timey winey brain is tingling.

How would the original timeline know that Sito tipped off Heath about the attack after saving Heath for death in the alternate timeline if the events that occurred in which Sito saved Heath, didn't occur in this one ... and I've just gone cross-eyed.

In the original timeline, Valdez and Naynta are trying to expose Sito's crimes and they intercepted Sito's tip off and her orders to fire on her own ships. They've even found out about Heath and Sito. Valdez and Lot have a timeship and the records of what happened, enough for that accusation of high treason with all the evidence to be passed onto the Regent and Imperial Intelligence. How is Sito going to talk her way out of this one?

In the Alternate, Valdez and Lot carried out their plan. Valdez exposed Sito for what she really is to the entire Empire and in a word told Sito I quit, he is no longer her pawn and left the Empire with his family. Valdez and Lot changed the timeline to stop the Battle of Antares from happening, they still remember what Sito did. Heath and the Los Lobos crew are very much alive and the Los Lobos i still intact.

                      @theraven2378

hmmm??? Firing on another ship is hardly uncommon for the Terran Empire is it? In that she could just argue she was putting Naynta and Valdez in their place. They did lose quite a lot of ships to Heath.

ALT: I'll let @galatt have the call on how Papela Lot would react ... who would she blame? Naynta or Heath? Naynta went in expecting an easy win and it nearly cost her, her sisters life. While she did destroy the Los Lobos ... Prime-Mirror Sito (This is going to get confusing) saved Heath before Naynta / Valdez could score the kill.

Prime: The events never occurred, all Sito has is an officer that looks like Heath on her ship that doesn't act like your normal Terran officer. Who may have at some point discretly passed on information that prevented X from happening. So Sito could argue you made the whole thing up.

Hmmm if X event doesn't happen, does it become part of the prime timeline ('Year of Hell') or does it create a new timeline (Kelvin-Universe) ? :open_mouth:

But tipping off an enemy state in time of war does count as treason but as far as Prime mirror Valdez and Naynta are concerned, Sito betrayed them and they will never forget and forgive her. They could do one of two things or both, one is to make sure Sito's 2390 offensive is sabotaged so it won't succeed as easily as it did by having the Enterprise lose all power during the fall of Qo'nos so it get's crippled or destroyed. Two, they could just sabotage the Enterprise during it's construction and set it to go boom just after Sito's victory in saving the empire. Sito cannot get to Valdez's family either, he arranged for Red Trianna to pick them up right under the Regent's nose and she got away with it.

In the changed timeline, Jodi is very much alive. Trianna blew up the Enterprise and if that Sito has survived, there will be a squad of MACOs waiting to arrest her on Trill. Valdez quit the Empire because of Sito's actions and has fled to the Federation with his family to get away from the Empire.

Thus creating treason against the Terran Empire, just on a bigger scale. Besides, Sito has a 'spy' on Naynta's ship ... thus said mole would alert Sito immediately and then Sito can tell Papela.

That spy won't last long, finding that mole should be easy for both Naynta and Red Trianna. All it takes for both of them to scan everyone who were beamed off Astute and Los Lobos and the spy will be found and dealt with in a fitting manner.

In the unaltered timeline, Valdez and Lot making Sito go through her own year of hell would be interesting. Maybe they were the ones who tip off the Krenim and Nakuhl into attacking Sito.

"The meaning of victory is not to merely defeat your enemy but to destroy him, to completely eradicate him from living memory, to leave no remnant of his endeavours, to crush utterly his achievement and remove from all record his every trace of existence. From that defeat no enemy can ever recover. That is the meaning of victory."

                          "l hate temporal mechanics."

                          OK let's look back at what lead up to this;
                          Prime unaltered timeline;
Sito ordered a ceasefire. No more incursions. Heath and company were also ordered not to cross over. If you go back and check, this was about the halfway point of their refit. They weren't going to leave the ships half finished so they continue to work on them and put up the minefield.
Just because they couldn't go over didn't stop them from planning what do IF they could go after him.
However, it was Valdez and Lot that initiated combat. They disobeyed Sito's orders and launched their attack. Their actions are what lead to what happened to Jodi.
Sito was well within her rights to execute both of them for disobedience when she showed up. They ignored her orders and cost them a lot of ships. Threatening to fire on them if they didn't stand down, was her being kind.
Papela is well aware of her interaction with Heath. If you remember from the last Mirror mission and what @thay8472 has posted here Papela has been orchestrating Sito's life since she was a child.

Papela answer to them is "I know."
