So at the end of the Caleb IV episode, which is the last TOS episode, *stuff happens* and you are taken to 2409 to present day ESD where the film grain is no longer there, your told to change to contemporary clothes and report to Admiral Quinn where he promotes you gives you a contemporary ship and gives you the 'save the SS Azure' mission.
Your TOS experience unceremoniously ends and your assimilated into a present day Fed.

    Disapoint :(

P.S. there appears only one non CStore TOS ship, the Pioneer class, that is outside the AoY pack. That's what the Tribble server has anyway right now.

Whoa, wait just a minute. There are only SIX TOS episodes? For that we need a whole range of TOS style ships in the Temporal Agent Pack? You'd barely outlevel the starter ship at T1.

Something is not right here. There has to be more to it than that. Or are there more TOS missions than the ones they've announced? I expected something more along the lines of what they did for the Romulan launch. Maybe not quite as deep, but... more.

If that's the sum of the TOS content, gonna be some mighty wroth people around here...

Edit: Went back and recounted the announcements. Still...

doubtful it will be in there...cause the conny is coded in game already. they are just recycling old content in with the new to make the pack bigger. I got the conny already and never use it cause its such low level...and i prob wouldnt use the other lower level ones either. I wanted one(i might pick up the ranger class cause it can compete) for my merchant guy i play...and old mothballed ship he converted to a huge freighter :P

the one from the PRIME reality is... not that OTHER one

Yah, but they could easily skin out old school TOS even with new ships. Franz Joseph has the rights to the third nacelle off the saucer section specifically (else how would we have the current dreadnought?) So, at least in theory, they could remodel the existing dreadnought model but with the TOS style? Heck I think having a TOS skin option on ALL my fed ships would be epic!

They coudl at least put in the Ares class as seen in "S.T.Legacy's Ultimate universe mod". (She has three nacelles too) And the U.S.S. Ares from Axanar. Just to help them raise money, for theyr Lawsuit problem with TRIBBLE stupid CBS.

Not going to get into this much but gotta say, since this game is licensed by CBS if they did anything to even imply support of Axanar then risk loosing the license and then goodbye STO. No thanks.
TRIBBLE CBS! They have way to much influence.

maybe because they own the cow??

It has always been a real thrill for me, to watch that scene.
I don't care what anybody says, TMP is still one of my favorites with all of it's glorious slowness.
That's how you introduce a "Classic Lady" that one hasn't seen for TEN long years.

Just watched the video again for AoY. Is the voice-over suppose to be Capt.Kirk? If so, it's not good. Either need a better actor or just don't try to do Kirk.

No, it's Vic Mignogna from the Fan produced "Star Trek-Continues" internetz series.
He plays a pretty good Captain Kirk.
It takes a bit to get past the obvious changes for this series, but once you do, they are really good episodes.

Someome pointed out that we are playing Temporal Agents... So our temporal agent missions might not be a single straight sequential storyline leading to the faction-agnostic parts as we are used to from the other factions.

There are more than 6 episodes to come. Some are set in 2409 and some are set back in TOS era.

Everybody just jumped to conclusions at the end of the Caleb IV episode, myself included.

This whole event taught me a lesson, at least, but after speaking to a trusted source, the devs have more in store for us and that is all I need to know! :D

Hmmm oddly...theres no link to buy on that page for me :(

Why would anyone waste money on that pack(s)? The TOS ships are nothing special, and will not contain the temporal boff seat, they end at tier 5 and become useless. The only useful thing in the $130 dollar pack is a few of the T6 ships. Will be much better off buying the ships with zen during a sale individually later on. Titles are meaningless, uniforms? TOS uniforms have been in the store for a long time. And do we know if most of these ships are usable by any faction or only by the temporal captain that you leveled up? It only states that on two of the tier 6 ships. Dont get me wrong, ive bought these expensive packs before, did when the romulan pack came out, but quickly learned to never do it again.

The ability to skin t6 ships in TOS looks is almost worth $130 by itself

What I read was that the TOS era ships are only usable by TOS faction captains. The upstream T6 variants of those ships are only available to TOS/Fed. Only the two 31st century ships will be cross-faction.

Doesn't mean they won't release more ships during the expansion, but more than likely won't be in the bundle.

The ONLY reason I will consider buying the full pack is if the T6 Fed ships look like something I'll want to buy and actively fly. At the moment, only one of the cross-faction ships is a 'must-buy' in my view. That will give excellent value for 3000 zen. Any more than two of the 3000 zen ships landing on my 'must-buy' list will make me tend to believe that the full bundle will be more value than buying them onesie-twosie.

yeah the price tag is equal to 4 or 5 T6 ships...If you want to get several of them, might as well go all the way.

What I'm curious of is this, I'm a lifetime member. I already have access to most of the things this pack seems to offer, Connies and such, the uniforms. Will there be any reason for me to buy a pack at all? Also if I need to get pack for some reason will there be a veterans discount of some type on that?. Just curious...

Well there is 10 new ships, 6 of which are T6, several new TOS uniforms, few other trinkets in the big pack.

The starter pack at a new T6 ship and new TOS uniform.

But, you saw all this whats included because you opened the pages and browsed for yourself. Then why are you asking whats included?

And your other question, of course not, no discount, you cant be serious.

Most ? There are 11 ships in the pack, all new, except for the Connie. Of the 6 uniforms, only 2 are available right now. That's the opposite of "Most".

And there have never been any Veteran/Lifetimer discounts on store items/Packs. Sorry. :p

Looks like July 26th is probably the release date.

Gecko confirmed that July was the planned month and said it would be just before the Vegas Convention 2016. (Aug. 3-7)

He said this in the new G&T Show Interview.

That only works if they add the Starter pack to the C-Store....

The Delta Pack never got Added to the C-Store, which means you had to spend real money on it. If they follow the same Logic with the Temporal Pack and Temporal Starter pack, then you may be SOL.

You might want to open you game, Delta Operations pack is there, so is every single DLC including both LoR packs from that expansion also. The only DLC NOT available via CStore is the Steam starter pack with the Steam runner ships, only available in Steam.

You dont have to be sowwy now.

Only 2 ships that are not locked to TOS faction... so unless you plan on keeping the TOS toon... not much point in this pack since regular Feds cant use any of the TOS-Fed ships. So 2 ship and several uniforms... is it worth $130. I dont think so.
