It is free. Same as Legacy of Romulus, and Delta Rising. You just wont get access to ALL the missions UNLESS you create a new Temporal Recruit. Same as it's always been on these launches. Your regular existing characters might get a new PVE mission, or there may be a single new storyline mission available....but all the "New" temporal missions will be exclusive to the temporal characters. All buying the packs gets you is some shiny kit/ship/outfits/etc.

That's a little off. The vast majority of content for this expansion is for existing characters. Only the 6 extended tutorial missions are only playable by new TOS characters. Everything else is aimed at all existing characters.
3.5 hours planned downtime tomorrow. Less than i expected for an expansion this size.
You hear it folks, i officially jinxed the release of AoY.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.
They'd have to stop selling the DVDs for one and cut the Episodes to two fifteen minute segments per. But because of what I originally brought up they're toast.
Blame Axanar for this over-reaction.
more like blame CBS and Paramount's lack of quality material and their egos. like the old saying goes...garbage in, garbage out.
CBS/Paramount: Those geeks make better stuff than us?! How DARE they!!!!! Release the lawyer ninjas!!!!!
Um... not ego. The way copyright law works requires you to defend your copyrights now to be able to do so later.
What the Axanar folks did was egregious enough that letting it slide without aggressive response would likely have left the Trek IP as a piece of law neutered. So, yeah, blame the Axanar folks.

Uh... temporal marks are already in there. Turned in several birds/monkeys/vouchers for them yesterday.
