Surprised there's not a thread yet.

Visually looks better than previous t6 upgrades. No stats yet though.

    Looks damn sexy but I wonder if it will be on par with the pilot escorts. Lets be real here, like the command cruisers did with their class those little wonders set the bar for escorts pretty dang high.
    As nice as the Hestia may look I wonder if it lands in the same spot where the T6 Gal & Excel already are, nice for the eye but already outperformed by those who came before.

    Yeah I'm waiting for the pilot ship sale or the Defiant. I guess mid to late October.

    I dont like it, reminds me of the iron my wife uses to iron my clothing. Honestly. Klingon word of honor.

    Then I' guessing you never really liked the canon Prometheus to begin with as this is one of the least "altered" T6 versions to date. Theres nothing wrong with that as we all have different tastes, but the triangular "saucer" shape in particular is one of the things the Prometheus class is most instantly known for. (Well aside from MVAM :) ) But again to each his/her own.

    I am weird so that is my problem, looking at that ship I just keep seeing an iron and my wife holding it, lol. I am more into the Enterprise model, semi round saucer etc.

    Well, you'll get no argument from me there, I too prefer classic saucers to "chevrons." Don't get me wrong, I don't dislike chevrons either, I just liked the older look more. Which is one of the reasons I wish the T6 Excelsior's saucer had been as faithful to the original as the T6 Prometheus' is. Oh, well... :)

    Visually, I like it. (Which is rather rare lately with Cryptic's designs).

    Stats, I'm waiting for.

    The name - Hestia. I honestly have to say I have an issue with. Because Hestia is the Greek name for Vesta, so you would think they would use that name for a T6 Vesta. But at the same time, I have to chuckle them using the name Hestia, because it seems to imply the one who named this is an anime fan. :tongue:

    Not to knock the parade for this very very well designed ship variant, but yes, I too was hoping they'd drop the Defiant now. They know its amongst the super popular which is probably why they are going to sit on it until S11 with the flood of old and new players alike. Good marketing tactic.. Doesn't make it any less maddening.

    I know with my luck though that as soon as I cave and drop the zen for the pilot ships BOOM Defiant announcement.

    I just hope that for 3000 ZEN resell they at least updated the weapon hardpoints on the previous ships. No such TRIBBLE like dual cannons firing from maneuvering trusters (the redish things on saucer) or dual beam banks from tip of the upper nacelless.

    This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

    Prometheus has always been one of my favorite ship's, but I'm pretty tired of buying the same ship's over and over again. I'll pass.

    In the foundry, the Prommy has an option for a hull with and a hull without. It's possible that'll apply to all its variants.​​

    They don't tend to release stats till the day before launch a.k.a. wednesday...so odds are they wont be posted today.
