Well, if we do go to Andromeda it does seem natural to encounter the natives, including Kelvans.

there is still so much left undiscovered in this galaxy before heading out to andromeda. what we call the Alpha/Beta quadrants are less entire evenly partitioned pieces of a pie - more like little clusters of civilization within close proximity of a single quadrant divider. with the alpha quadrant possibly being the most unexplored.

Rather disappointed in the Admiralty system. I was hoping it at least allowed actually bringing your ships along like artificial teammates into missions, where equipping them WOULD matter, as the enemy NPCs would scale up like they would if there was a proper team.

Not really looking forward to this from what I see. Nothing really exciting at all. Admiralty is doomed since the start. Hate to be pessimistic but probably better effort in fixing bugs like defera, horrible game lags, fix the new broken Armada system and at least throw a bone to end game like foundry/PvP. What a shame that some of the PvP maps have been the same since beta normal-28.gif

I'm done if T7 ever happens. That's just ridiculous to even think about right now.

To be fair, I think the timing is what matters. If it's next week or next month, I'm sure most people would agree with you. But if it's 2017? Or 2018? I mean, eventually they are going to increase the level cap again; that is just the nature of MMOs. And when that happens, ship tier will go up with it.

Level 160 isn't enough for the kids these days?

So far as the admiralty system goes, does this game really need yet another set of slider projects?

Bring back no win scenario. removing it was a joke.
maybe some advanced starbase 24, and a kdf version as well.
    elite fleet alerts.

    what players really want.

while I'm at it. small list I compiled.

+plus turn rate console (harder turning) my hoh'sus would appreciate it.
could my hoh'sus have a proper warp annimation. that would be cool.
    +colored batteries
    back button on the exchange
minimizile windows (bar remains, window collapses, window not killed)
seperate inventory bars by type. (weapon, armor, donateable item, crafting item useful clicky stuff)
open for inventory not to close when U or character window bar is X'ed - back to that minimize window but not kill window)
highlight inventory items for mass delete/discard
expanded shuttles and fighter system( tier2,tier 3.advanced shuttles and fighters) give us options for small craft. we need a baby kharfi and a mine layer fighter. so many big ships. yet small ships have not moved on for ages. planets would revolve around small craft.
one or two episodes done entirely composed of small craft missions with small craft (such as shuttle gets lost and seperated, communicators taken and communications taken out. abandoned ship, gotta get back home....
    an 8th button bar.
man. year long endeavors that when a player hit levels 20
mission expansion aftermath. players, and large fleet start helping populate planets. planets like bug hunt. there are multiple planets which dont do anything. we have envirnomental suits after shuttles and fighters after all. should be conqouerable in some years time. bug hunt for example. once the spawn is pushed back far enough, once the horde is pushed back, a city is built off of a great mining boom on the planet. so the city is still subject to bug attacks. the shield around the city could always get knocked out, and the zerg comes in many times per day. these cities should also be lawless. outside of prime directive TRIBBLE. these outlands are bastions for anyone to come and go. the atmosphere should be considered a hostle atmosphere outside the docking area for the satellite. there are multiple planets per system. outlands fleet strongholds which are attackable. fleet members receive x amount of daily from processing station at the fleet mines. orbital bombardment.

lets face it. the transporter is the single greatest thing since sliced bread. but it is under used. communiicators should be able to see someone, scan his entire body like a tricorder, lock on, and beam his heart right out of his body. or intestines, or all the muscle mass in the body. beam target over a cliff. beam a grenade into the subjects body. loose subjects data in the transport stream. captains wear blockers in order to avoid being captured. well captured is the easy way out. captains should be bountied back to their own ship.

beam down infantry. beam down portable hellfire missile launcher pods. portable set up machine disruptor minigun. sayhello to muh little friend.

there are many dimensions and distances that sto could be expanded upon in a brilliant array of manners. Ill put this into caps for good measure.
    WHY DOES SPACE STOP.
what could possibly be out there that would stop my ship.
if you cancel warp it should cut the reuse timer by x percent of warp used received by warp time/distance travelled|time in warp. in canon, did starships suddenly not have the abilty to stop their ship.
why is gravity always keeping my feet down. the ships come with seatbelts. if you have a skill to break the gravity of the ship, it would surely slow their repair, unless the engineering section had gravity/envirnomental suits.
go to youtube, and watch star trek continues.
i'll wait why you go do that.
    maj! Hlja'
wednesday october 7th. 7:52pm. a warning when my client crashed and patches the launcher.
do i even have to say it. trait layouts which stick with the ship layout, and ground layout. per planet, per captain/boff/doff, per ship, per shuttle, per fighter, stealth fighter, baby kharfi.

can the borg please have a tactical and non tactical triangle?
cubes are old and stale. triangles are cool.
it's the 25th century. why no sonic screwdriver for craftingf
    advanced klingon fleet alert.
years ago, when i started playing, one of the things which hooked me on sto was no win. I understand why it's gone, but just make a basic, advanced and elite version of it. basic version you cant use any gear over mk xii. advanced, mk xiii, elite mk xiv. change levels of mobs correspondingly. and limit them to one try per day, each. level 8 9 and 10 should be death mode for any thing on elite mode, even for people with 50 dps.
no win should be a progression for groups and or fleets.
to achieve in no win, you had to have a good group.
you should also offer a hardcore mode for no win. the player who dies is out of the match
any group who should survive on the dire scenario, should be cohort and badass. nuff said.

tkyens rift should occasionaly summon fleets of mirror ships.
skill reuse timers should be shown on hover of skill.

I cant believe ppl still buy the "CBS said no"-excuse^^

I still can't believe that people don't believe it's true. Cryptic/PWE would make boatload upon boatload of cash from selling an endgame level Connie. I'm pretty sure they aren't turning down all that money just for giggles.

I believe it. I'm not sure that Cryptic ever tried a workaround but I believe it.

Now, I think the reason they don't have a T5 Exeter is largely just because they don't want to get swamped with demand for a T5 Connie. And that sucks.

Like I always say, take the non Connie variants. Remove the Connie option. Force a third nacelle on. Light Dreadnought! I really do love the non-Connies of that configuration. The size and profile are sweet.

"Mission failure will result in damage to ships, and larger ships take longer to repair than smaller ships. You can pay dilithium to speed up the repairs."

    This confuses me a bit:

    a. About what missions do we speak ? The missions of the Admirality system or missions in general. My guess it will be those from the Admirality system.

    b. Shall those damages, if it's in the Admirality System, reflect upon those ships in in the shipyard (those that the player can actually use in game) ?

What I am seeing so far on Tribble is that they go in maintenance every time after an assignment and, yes, larger ships take longer to repair than smaller ships ... Maximum is 17h if I am not wrong.

All I ever wanted was Cryptic to get the rights to bring the Star trek music inside the game.
But that last we heard of that is that it was "complicated" a few years ago.
Since then I haven't thought about it so much, till I saw Delta Rising Intro video and fully understood that they should leave the the nostalgia home till they can deliver the entire experience. (Music is always 50% of the experience)

It's like hearing a tune with a touch "something like the original theme" when the Star Wars intro begins, its just.. it doesn't work.

    18 actually.

Also repairs are supposed to start when the assignment finishes, not when you collect the assignment. but it's a bit broken at the moment. So if it's a 2-hr assignment and you come back 20 hours later maint should be done... but that's not how it actually works right now.

Hopefully that gets fixed before it goes live. I can see a lot of people just not doing it, and that would really TRIBBLE with Cryptic's metrics.
