The ship... looks hilarious. Very colourful, very much a showpiece instead of an actual warship. Which makes perfect sense.
I'll work to getting it. It's a nice, fun-styled ship. Very much like what we're used to getting for Summer Events. Great stuff!
don't forget while it is a ferengi design it's a risian festival ship, so it probably comes with an extreme amount of color and pattern variations, not to mention material changes for customisation

Backwards? You want Ferengi ships to be similar to Terran arthropods, yes? The way the D'kora is vaguely similar to a Terran horseshoe crab? When I first saw the ship, the first place my mind went was "scorpion". Pincers, big sting-tail raised above its back (and by the Divine Treasury, I hope there's a weapon mount up there!), the whole thing.
Or a Dewan arthropod, of course, but I am not flying the USS Dewan Arthropod.
I think the gold version gives it a little steampunky flavoring. Mabe some indigo blue/purple patern for an ancient Egypt feel.
Take the gold and metallic silver mash those together and add some light-dark brown. That would work I think. so primarily gold and brown with silver accents. That should be a,imo, a retro-Egyptian look.
Go to vendor and pay for Ship Holo-Disguise of some ship that doesn't make your eyeballs bleed.

Hmmm, looking at it again I think that, for the most part it's fine. However if they reversed the winglets coming off the weapon pod I think that would make it look a whole lot better. Course look at the Risian ships, quite a few customization options, maybe we will be able to do it ourselves?
