Everything was working fine for me until about 11:30pm on Monday night, then the server timed out and then it started trying to preload that big part of what I take is season 10. Ever since then I have the same problems as everyone else here. Though if I do actually get into a character soon as I transition from one sector to another or any loading screen... "Server not responding" one time I walked away and left it for about 5 min. and the counter was still going. Not even a time out.
Oh, and with charter not at&t like a lot. trace routes and ping are pretty normal. So, I don't know what the hell they did but, it sure would be nice for this issue to be at least acknowledged by a dev' or something. I have not been able to play since Monday night going to try now, and see but I have no real expectations. Just after I was getting back into the game after a fairly long hiatus. lol

As far as I can see most of you show a tracert that show a low lag time.

I think instead that many of you should use pathping.

    My "pathping" show this:

    C:\Users\mypc>pathping patchserver.crypticstudios.com

I know that in my pathping there are other servers that doesn't reply but I think the problems is later.
The server: perfectworldent-4.border11.bsn.pnap.net show 100% of packet loss and not Round Trip Time (RTT).

Could some expert in networking say something? (maybe I am wrong in all I said)
Could somebody else put his pathping here please?

Got the same issue. Waiting for ages for the launcher to come up, then for it to display the login
fields, then for it to connect and actually log me in, then for it to path or whatevertheheck it's doing, because it's trying to patch something but seems to skip or cancel that and jump right to the "Engage" button. Hitting that I'm yet again waiting ages for the main menu to come up, the info on my characters and the "play" button...which stays greyed out until I'm logged out again, due to "connection problems".

Experience similar issues, launcher loads very slowly, usually tells me there is something wrong with STO's website but says it does not affect the game. I can usually login then, and get into the game, however 9/10 times when changing zone or changing to another character, get a "server not responding" for 10 secs (always 10 secs) then "timeout connecting to gameserver", requiring me to login again.

Well here's my tracert and ping path, looks like for me at least there is some problem right after verizon?

So these are going to go completely unanswered and ignored? I can't get help from my cable provider, I can't get help from STO support, what am I supposed to do? Just stop playing?

I'm sure all the Cryptic and PWE folks are working on these issues. They tend to get quiete up to major issue solvement, and the fact that they need to work HARD to get all the bugs out of S10 before launch.
There's nothing more to do than to wait a few days. Tuesdays patching might contain something useful.

So much for "something useful". It's launch day and the server disconnects and inability to log back in has all but ruined this. You cannot immerse yourself in a storyline when the book constantly is slammed shut in front of you. I've not even made it through the first mission and have been cut off three times in the last 3 hours. Now, once again, I cannot get back in at all. One doesn't have to wonder where my mind is because the one place it is not is immersed in the story and that ruins the entirety of the effort. That's to say nothing of keeping up with duty officer missions that simply cannot be done so I get cheated out of the entirety of what's being offered right now. Does anyone believe that STO will compensate me for this? Right, Sure.
