I think I'm having the same issue, maybe, but since you didn't mention what was happening on your end, there's no way for me to know if it's the same or not.
But as of today, the launcher is very slow to load, it then takes several minutes for the "Engage" button to become active, once in game it takes several minute to load the character list, then takes several minutes to0 load the character if it loads it at all. Next map change results in SNR and back to the login page I go.
I had just started an STF run, when suddenly everything just froze, and then I got booted.
When I tried to log back in I get stuck at connecting to account server, and eventually a connection timed out error.
Server is down. Everything is working as intended.

Same here. We were fighting the second Borg group on an sector alert. Happened to me exactly as you described.
I was playing fine this morning and boom! the Game Disconnected me,now im stuck at "trying to patch launcher thing" hen i get a internet error message. i tested my connection it's working fine,i talked to my fleet they're having the same issue. something is up on your end Devs im assuming

Got a red server not responding and then back to login screen
I tried to log back in and got a patch server failure
so I exit, relaunch and the launcher can't connect
seems I'm not the only one. post here if you have also the issue
Edit : I have the same issue with NWN. so it confirm the problem comes from patch servers from cryptic
Got disconnected. Reconnected once, functions wouldn't work, restarted everything, can't even load the launcher as it cycles 'trying to update the launcher.'
Wonder if there's anyone around to even fix it. The C-store sale is ticking away.

The only server working is the "Outside" server. The graphics are amazing and the NPCs have pretty darn good AI.
Respawn timer sucks, though...
And next time you "fix" the game, could you actually fix the game?!:mad:
