The Known Issues part of the 10/30 patch notes says:
    * The Multiple Choice Mark Packages, such as the one listed as a reward for the Mirror Invasion Event, do not list Delta Marks as a choice.
    * This is only missing text as Delta Marks are a choice once the pack is opened.

So if they aren't actually giving Delta Marks that would be a bug...

So they know it's a problem and didn't bother fixing it before the event even started. Unbelievable! Cryptic always amaze me with how pathetic and lazy they are.

Yes, another event new players can't participate in!

Have the devs actually played mirror advanced?
    I think not.

When it literally takes 3-5 minutes to kill a SINGLE enemy, and you can't interact with anything while being attacked the mission is unplayable.

Question: In Advanced, is it mandatory to keep the station alive, or is it only mandatory to get the defenses to level 5?

If station falls to 0, you fail.
It also doesn't allow you to choose Delta marks at the end of the run.

Advanced is just too much. All them ships coming through and the number of portals that need to be closed are too plentiful. Getting rid of a simple frigate is now a pain.

My ship isn't really what I'd call weak and it hasn't been blown up.. but at some point 20+ ships zooming around you becomes very overwhelming.

I don't dare tackle a Typhoon at this stage either.

I don't understand why we can close rifts in Borg Disconnect while shields being struck and not in Mirror Universe. Are our deflector dishes in some kind of temporal flux when it comes to Undine Rifts or something?

Even if it was possible to close the rifts without interruption, it'll be a hell of a challenge to begin with.

I don't seem to be hitting the right search terms...what happens if you had the event queued from last year? Will the rewards change over to the current ones or do I need to put my Mirror transporters into the new event? I am not putting anything into a project until I know for sure.

Neither does the normal MU. I am not doing Advance even though my ship can handle it. 14 days of grinding for no Delta Marks choice is a shame. How can that Rep System be non-omitted. Something isn't right here. I had to choose Task Force one and I really didn't want too. All those rep systems listed I've completed and done with them as Tier 5. I wanted to get Delta up to Tier 1 and it's taking forever to get it so at this rate.

MU has some glitches in it where as the Borg Disconnect doesn't have the same issue. Close the Rift if I click on it won't close. I found one rift far away from the battle so I had click Close the Rift and it takes a long straw out move to close it. So either they did that on purpose then if you waited for the Rift to get close you could get damage or even blown-up!

I.S.S Dred Battleship I find it funny how it too can play hide and seek. Once that goes poof then the awards drop down menu dialog box appears on my screen.

If you still have Mirror Hakeev slotted you can finish it during the current event and also slot the project for the shotgun. Assuming you had enough of the previous project requirements filled up you can get the rewards for both during the current event because the event has more days than are required to fill 1 project. :)

In terms of the Delta Marks not being part of the awards right now, it is either intentional to keep people from getting enough marks that they don't have to run the delta Rising content, or it's a coding bug that happened.

The only thing I did was asking a simple and somewhat legit question especially after Delta launch. If you aren't in the position to answer this question, then please don't troll and call names. It isn't exactly what the ToS defines as legal, is it?

If you post a comment unrelated to the topic, which has been beaten more than a proverbial dead horse and you do not consider it what i named it then i strongly suggest therapy and multiple counseling sessions.

You should also notice that i never EVER directed any harmful comment towards you personally, but only against the immature behavior.

Now move on since your accusation of trolling, name-calling and claiming actions against ToS require more hands than i have for pure face palms.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

Does this event have a specific daily reset timer or does it have the typical 20h reset per character ?

If it's like last year then it's 20 hours. Though there's no timer to check so you just have to try and remember when you ran it the day before.

My Orion was able to complete both last year and this year's Crystalline Cataclysm events this year. And because we had a bonus marks weekend in the middle of the event, she had both events slotted for a while with the daily crystal thingies going into the new event.
So, you get the rewards for the event that you complete, and this event is distinct from last years. My advice would be to complete last year's event, and get as far as you can with this year's, so you can complete it and the next one, next time it comes up.

20 hours, hidden timer. I use my research project (R&D) , or a reputation project - as soon as you exit the event and get your device, start your research project / rep project. Bingo, 20 hour timer you can check on.

Should of been something useful, like Cochrane's long coat. Seeing my Gorn can't have one as cool.

( Watch for the crater my hint made there when I dropped it. )

If only there were a rank your Gorn could earn that warranted such a coat, or even such a coat already in the game, that might just be possible...

In the future for the Mirror Event could you allow those of us who have no interest in the main"prize" to do the second rep project instead of having to unlock it each time.

I don't have any interest in the shot gun so would rather just do the second project instead. However I have to wait until the first one is completed. This is annoying, I wouldn't say grindy just annoying.

Yeah I think that both projects should be available straight off the bat. I mean, you can't do them both consecutively anyway as you can only get one transporter a day so it's not like people could earn above what they want. It'd also be handy for players who don't have a full 14 days available to get all the transporters for the main project, at least the event wouldn't be pointless for them.

I agree with the posters complaining about getting interrupted while closing rifts. If we can close Undine rifts while being shot at, shouldn't we be able to close MU rifts while being shot at?

Also, the hoards of MU ships that come though before you can even get to the rifts is crazy, and I'm talking on regular level. We get surrounded before we even know it
Now a LTS and loving it.
Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.

Yeah that is a real pain in the backside. Especially when you get multiple rifts all opening in close proximity. Just as you take out one group, another group spawns and starts firing on you, then you take them out and another group spawns, then another, and another. You can't take them out fast enough to close any of the damned rifts because you're being shot at constantly.

One rift is pretty easy, two rifts is manageable if you try to stay far enough back that you're out of range of the other, but when you get three or four you're pretty much screwed.

    Oh yes, exactly.

If I hadn't been in a cruiser when I get surrounded I would have blown up before I could get a shot off. I'm not complaining about it being difficult, I'm complaining about it being *TOO* difficult. Difficult is fine, but who in the MU paid STO off to code things in their favor? :p

I just did a regular one in a mirror Ha'feh warbird and I know I blew up at least twice when I got mobbed and I couldn't close the darn rifts because I'm getting shot at.

I did it once just to try it again. I don't think its fun enough for me to want to do 14 times for the event project though. I might be interested in doing it 14 times if it was the old mirror event but not this one.

One of the things that bothered me the most are the ships that start shooting you from outside of 10KM. While trying to close rifts, I had multiple occasion where a ship outside of 10Km started shooting me. Some were even at 14Km out.

This either needs to be fixed, or they should let us start shooting from that same distance. But letting us close rifts while being shot would make a huge improvement.
