@hagarthorrible: Usually, login issues after a patch are actually a graphics issue that one might mistake for a connection issue when nothing loads (black screen or hang at login screen) past the Cryptic logo or DR logo. Try safe mode in launcher options if this sounds like you, then reset & play around with your graphics once ingame until you discover the problem, or discern that you need a new rig.
If, however, you cannot connect at all -- the launcher won't connect to server -- you ought to clench your fist and scream: "SMMMMMMIIIRRRK!"
I tryied changing delta sci boff 4th skill from teleport torp to grav well III, and it broke the skill page. Half the skills where no longer there. would be real nice if I could change the skill set as I please BECUASE I PAID FOR THEM.... also some of the Detla ships reset tray when entering a pve or map chaging. And would be real nice if the actual delta ships where some what better then the T5 ships, Ive found that they are far inferior................ >:(

E-mergency up-keep, to try to fix the software.
All the players are resistant, and try to put up a fight.
The forums flare-up and then Trendy begins...
It's gonna be a long, night.
There She sits with her keyboard.
A gifted Mod we know well,
She must be thinking to herself,
"This could be Heaven or this could be Hell"
Then she queued up Her handle, and she showed us the way.
There were voices in forums now,
I thought I heard them say...
