    Can't afford the advertised package(stupid unemployment....still....), but will be THROWING money at them(as soon as I can scare up the funds) for the Fed Scryer Sci ship! :D

    Suppose I should count myself fortunate that I'll likely only have to be paying to upgrade one T5 ship as well, across all 5 of my characters, my Fleet Nebula...and since I avoid PvP like the plague, that's not even a factor for me...looking forward to this! :D

    Pretty soon we won't even need to bother fighting anything. We'd just turn up for a mission and the NPC's themselves will think 'sod that' and wave white flags.

    I doubt any new content coming up would be tough enough to last more than mere seconds against ships like that. All they do is convince me even more to stick to my standard T5.

    Regarding the Phantom Intelligence Escort, English blog states :
    Bridge Officer Stations: 1 Lieutenant Commander Tactical, 1 Commander Tactical/Intelligence, 1 Lieutenant Commander Engineering, 1 Lieutenant Science/Intelligence and 1 Ensign Universal
    but French version states :
    Stations d’officier de passerelle : 1 Lieutenant-commandant tactique, 1 Commandant tactique/Intelligence, 1 Lieutenant-commandant ingénieur, 1 Lieutenant-commandant scientifique/Intelligence et 1 Enseigne universel

    The Lieutenant Science/Intelliigence slot becomes a Lieutenant Commander slot.

    Regarding the Qib Intelligence Battlecruiser and Faeht Intelligence Warbird, English blog states they can cloak even while in combat, while the French blog states they can only cloak while not in combat.

    By the way, for the translation team : when using the word 'intelligence' in a military/spy context (which seems to be the case here), it translates to 'renseignement'. Otherwise it refers to the intellect.

    It can only really be power creep if player characters get more power, but the NPCs don't. Which is what we had the past few years. This time, the NPCs also get some more power.

    Whether it will be enough... We'll see. Maybe the NPCs will actually grow to little in strength.Maybe too much. Maybe just right.

    After achieving level 5 in your Scryer Intel Science Vessel’s Starship Mastery, you will unlock the Emitter Synergy starship trait. While this trait is slotted, each time you use a Tactical or Intelligence bridge officer ability you gain a small bonus to both Exotic Damage and Shield Healing. This bonus stacks up to 3 times.

    At a time when exotic damage is already going through the roof...this is just what we didn't need.

    Scryer with too much engineering station, i would be happy with lt.cmdr. universal, but this is really bad :S

    EDIT: DPS wise this ship is TRIBBLE.

    Dev's explain... if these T6 ships gonna have Fleet Versions in the future, what does this means for T5-U ships?

    Does it means the older Cryptic Design and IP Ships will have their own Advanced Fleet versions thats comparable to Fleet T6 Ships or will it be a big F U to these Older Design Ships?

    Trust me, it'll either come out insanely broken, or if that isn't the case anyone with any idea what they're doing will facerole it in a day, because if they're going by the usual standard of the player base, I'm not expecting much of an improvement...

    The second LT Cmdr station is a duplicate typo of the first. It will probably be fixed soon.

    What are you basing this on? No pricing has been announced for the T6 ships, apart from the pre-order pack. According to the Q&A, T5 upgrades will probably be $5-$10.

    So... Let me get this straight...

    - The ships are visually unappealing, to the extremes.

    - On top of that, they don't even have the flexibility of universal boff slots which current top-tier ships have. These "intel" slots can only take intel or a fixed class (eng, sci, tac). That's a step BACKWARDS from what we already have.

    - You basically renamed beam target: subsystem and gave it to all craft

    - You create a "gather intel" mechanic which is essentially a copy of sensor analysis or a number of other things in the game.

    - The big whoop about consoles is they're all recycled from existing things. Phaser lance? Gal-X. Struc. Integ. siphon? Minor variation of Valdore console, only healing hull instead of shields. Sensor probe swarm? FBP, EWP, Photonic shockwave, you name it, it's already there. You just changed the visuals to be dots instead of plumes of plasma. Weapon systems siphon? Plasmonic Leech, yo. You just made it less effective and only stacks 3x.

    - starship traits? Really? Seems to be mostly recycled stuff. Includingi advanced firing. I mean, come on! It's basically just a [thrust] proc we already see on crafted items. Tactical retreat: seen on NPCs already. Basically a JH ground set shroud proc for ships.



    It seems almost every feature of these ships is a step backwards in functionality, flexibility, and overall enjoyability. For the astounding price tied to these ships, I simply must ask....


    What the heck have you been doing this entire time? Because it doesn't seem to be "coming up with anything new" -- and yes I'm being quite harsh right now. It's needed at the moment. Cryptic, you need a reality check as badly as George Lucas did while writing The Phantom Menace. You're ignoring the world around you and marching on stoically, determined to prove the world wrong. Then you hold it against the world when it doesn't agree with what you've done.

    It means don't buy Tier 5 Upgrades to me, really, unless there is another thing we can do to make our Tier 5 ships real Tier 6 ships.

    Phantom Intel Escort description is missing the console ship useability disclaimer.

    Also what is the Fleet level needed to get this ship?

    As a casual player I'm hoping it's Level 1 like the Fleet Patrol Escort Refit.

    T5 C-store Ships = $25

    T5.5 Fleet Store Ships = +$5 - $30 total + fleet credits
    (with the purchase of a T5 counterpart)
    (1 fleet module @ $5)

    T5.5 Fleet Store Ships = $20 + fleet credits
    (without the purchase of a T5 counterpart)
    (4 fleet modules @ $5 = $20)

    T5.7 Fleet Store Ships = $25 + fleet credits
    (T5.5 Fleet Store Ships that require 5 modules)
    (5 fleet modules @ $5 = $25)


    WHICH LEADS ME TO TO FOLLOWING PREDICTIONS


    T5-Upgrade - C-Store = +$10 - $35 total
    (with the purchase of a T5 ship)

    T5-Upgrade - Fleet Store = +$5 - $25 total + fleet credits
    (with the purchase of a T5 fleet ship)

    T6 C-Store Ship = $30-$40

    Its going to be expensive.

    In order to upgrade a basic T5 ship to a T5-U ship, you will have to jump over T5.5 fleet ships. So, it will cost more to upgrade basic T5 ships.

    Real Tier 6 ships? Who wants Tier 6 ships? Thouse ships are already obsolete.. nuu.. you want FLEET Tier 6 ships.. lol

    Tier 6 didnt even survive lounch, now is all about Tier 6.5 hahaha.. well done cryptic, bravo..

    its starts about 1:47:00 into the video, in which Geko personally states that "The Devs are aware of it and Geko says it will be a Non-Issue "soon". Now I'm not saying that they would fix it with this expansion but it certainly doesn't help it.

    Just reading though the comments on this thread, the roll-out of explanations on this expansion has not gone well. I've seen several comments on this topic stating that Fleet Tier 6 will have 12 consoles, really just 11 like Fleet T5U since Tier 6 also starts at 10. And that's just one example. We are certainly not off to a smooth start with the lack of clarity and misinformation I am seeing. Hoping it's going over better with the folks who do not read the forums.

    From what I can gather from all of this, the PVP crowd is in for a shakeup, but most players will upgrade to T5U to keep their favorite ship(s), or not, perhaps dabble with a T6 that strikes their fancy and continue to mostly breeze through PVE and grind for whatever shiny is next.

    Looking like my wallet will stay pretty intact so far. I'm just feeling very meh about the Intel ships and officers. Adding new abilities to for the existing trinity of bridge officers would have perked my pointy ears up though. *fingers crossed*

    And I wouldn't be surprised if the sci ship has SA plus these debuffs. Then you can add that AOE subnuke and a sci captain's subnuke beam.

    It's funny how it goes from T5U is still good enough to T5U sucks with each blog they post.

    The Fleet listing is part of the disclaimer IE: "This console is only useable on the Phantom Intel Escort and Fleet Phantom Intel Escort."

    If you read the very last page in the Q&A it says:
    Q: Will Fleet variants of the Intel ships be available at Delta Rising launch?
    A: Fleet Intel starships will be released sometime after Delta Rising launch.

    Fleet ships will come later. This blog is about the C-store ships.

    When can we expect a blog with non-intelligence T6 ships' stats? OP as they are, I'm interested in the Rom battlecruiser's stats.
