Can we PLEASE have ALL the information on what this package contains? The price goes up in a few days, but we still don't know anything about the BOFFs and DOFFs yet. Like the lock boxes, this trend of having players gamble for what they get is getting tiring. There are reasons gambling is illegal in some places (U.S. anyway).

Err... I think it will be somewhere around 150/160$.

Yeah I was asking 'when' the price will go up. The FAQ doesn't actually say it will go up on the 14th, it just says they will let us know when they know... Which isn't very useful to help me decide if I have time to wait and buy it on the 14th, or even the 15th... or do I have to buy it on the 13th to get the discount price? See what I mean? Not very helpful FAQ haha.

The very first post in this thread states the price will go up on the 14th and that the Pack is currently at a 20% discount. Steam already has the October 14th price listed at $159.99.
STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.

What about Zen? Do people with Zen saved up get a chance to buy at the sale price?
Or do we get screwed and have to pay an extra 4,000 Zen in the store?

The pre-order Delta Pack, just like the pre-order LoR Pack, is only available via a cash purchase.

And, just like the LoR Pack, it will probably be a month or more before the Delta Pack gets added to the C-Store for 16,000 Zen.

Ok, so that confirms it will go up on the 14th... But, will it go up before or after they announce the winners of the competition? I don't want to have to pay more to buy the pack if I hold out to see if I win a pack, but I don't want to go and buy the pack and then end up winning it and I'm out a hundred quid.

that's a great point. the give away should be announced on monday. that way people have time to buy the pack while on sale if they didn't win the give away.

of course you can probably make a case for a discount through billing if you won the free bundle after having bought it.

I was thinking to take it but then I read all the info about the pack !!!
    Three High-End Upgrade Kits*
Improve your gear! Turn a Mk XII to a Mk XIII with this High-End Upgrade Kit. *This option un-locks once per account on a character of your choice.
    Three Ship Upgrade Tokens*
Use these to upgrade your Tier 5 ships for when you begin to explore the Delta Quadrant! Not all ships are upgrade-able.
*This option unlocks once per account on a character of your choice.
Three Very Rare Delta Quadrant Duty Officers
Add Delta Quadrant Duty Officers with special traits to your crew. This options unlocks once per character on an account.

for the content of the pack, compared to LoR the prices is too high and not worth it at all as 3 most important items of the pack are for one char only !!!

That last item you quoted was claimable by all characters on your account once and not just by only one character.

Still waiting to be able to use forum titles

I got the whole pack and saved money. Even at 2500 zen apiece, it equates to 22500 zen. That is $225 American. I saved $100 just by buying the pack.
So, I just push the buttons and things blow up? Fascinating...

Isn't it just awesome that the only way to get a new ship with a bridge is to gamble on Lockboxes?

Isn't $125.00 enough to warrant someone working on bridges for these ships?

Why does it always have to be gambling with these guys?

Are they afraid of making an honest living?

Captains! You’re about to explore an area of space that is only partially charted, and full of a few friends, a lot of foes, and even more unknowns in Delta Rising! We're excited to announce the Delta Rising: Operations Pack. The Operations Pack will ensure you’re fully prepared for your journey through the Delta Quadrant by giving you access to the most cutting-edge technology, personnel, and ships in the fleet.

More about it can be found here.

Grab your pack now with our 20% off Pre-Launch Discount from now until October 14th! You can get your Operations Pack here.

    ~LaughingTrendy

The operations pack, may make you prepared if your a Federation captain, having 5 of the 9 ships offered in the pack. However, if your a engineer officer for the Klingons, or a science officer for either the Romulans or Klingons, then no tier 6 ship exists for your faction class in the current operations pack.

Since when is running a F2P MMO honest?

Still, how do you feel guys? You've spent over a hundred bucks/euros for a pack of ships that are already inferior to the latest lockbox/lobi additions. Not to mention, every lockbox ship will get a new bridge, while you'll have to pay even more for mere Intrepid/Voyager interior/bundle sold separately.

Yeah, F2P business model is fine and all that, but with each and every update it's becoming more and more clear that Cryptic just doesn't care, and at this point they might as well go back to subscription - that way at least players wouldn't feel as much ripped off.

I find it funny that they already upstage their Operations Pack garbage scowls, one day before DR launches...... :D

I find it funny that I've been expecting the Delta Rising (okay, now we know it's the Delta Expedition) Lobi/Lockbox ships to be T6-11 since T5-U was announced.

I also find it funny that they did a Last Chance Lockbox Event (Now - 10/14) where the "Grand Prize" ships remained at T5-U11 when saving those keys and using them on the new Lockbox makes a whole lot more sense (if you're inclined to gamble).

I find it really funny that the Lobi/Lockbox T5-U11 ships were going for a couple hundred mil in ECs yesterday. I wonder what they'll go for tomorrow?

Lastly, I find it immensely funny that the Kazon Raider can be upgraded to T5-U10, while the Mirror Ships cannot, and that for some reason they come with a "•Console – Universal – Hazari Shield Drone" according to the Dev Blog.

    Trendy!

    Could you edit the following?
    http://www.arcgames.com/en/games/star-trek-online/news/detail/7010383

"Although ridiculed in the past for their low-tech capabilities, the Kazon have spent the past several decades aggressively scavenging and adapting to a quadrant that has become more dangerous by the hour."

Several decades? Like 70 years ago? (Seven of Nine -- and the other returning VOY crew -- look really good for their new in-game ages! :P )

    Maybe the blog should read:

Yeah, I'd assumed as much, though the Rank Requirement...
•Rank Required: Rear Admiral / Brigadier General / Sub Admiral I
...allowing us to use T6 ships at level 40 is amusing as well. Still, a good number of folks fly Mirror ships, especially in the KDF due to the limited lineup... it would be very nice if those folks could upgrade them to T5-U10 like we can the Kazon Raider.

Agreed, a few of my toons use mirror ships because they have the boff slots I want. Now I either stick with those ships as tier 5 or have to switch that doesn't fit my needs as well to upgrade it to T5U. I think all currently available T5 ships should be upgradeable.

No i think only T5 Fleet Ships (and Lockbox/Lobi Ships)should be updateable but not to T5-U they should be update Able to T6 with 12 Consoles and T6 ships should start with 11 Consolen and T6Fleet should have 12
18 Cpt on the way to 60: 14 of them are already 50 or over 50, one is 60 and 3 almost 43

I managed to make enough zen on the exchange to knock off $55 of the original $125 price for the DR Operations pack ($70 tot). Much better deal then actually paying out $125 or more. If they would have had science ships for KDF and Romulans I would have bought it before the expansion but oh well they didn't need me paying more for it. :)
