The pack looks like a good deal if you want all the ships, or even most of the ships. I don't.
I'm thinking I would like to try 4 of the ships, the BOffs, and the DOffs. Everything else is superfluous. Won't be buying the big pack this time. Would buy at least one faction specific pack if it had the right price to zomg ratio.

Arguably KDF and Romulans need more science ship choices like the fed players have right off the bat. As this pack stands it is not a good deal for Romulan/KDF especially at $125 for one less cruiser choice and no science option.
4 cruisers, 3 escorts,... 1 science vessel. Arguably they need more science vessels period.

They had just released at lot of Science Vessels with the Dyson Packs so I think they were trying to broaden things out.
STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.
Still curious if the "Requires STO on Arc" means that I wont be able to claim any of it if I'm running through Steam. I have no intention of switching to Arc full time as I much prefer keeping everything together on Steam, so if it does require me to play through Arc then I wont be getting the pack.
Join date is wrong, I've actually been around since STO Beta.
True alters don't have a "main". Account wide unlocks for all unique event rewards!!

The same statement is made on the LoR Pack. I have the LoR Pack. I do not use ARC.

silly question i imagine we will still be able to buy the ships individually because im interested in only 1 of them. and will we be able to buy them individually when delta rises launches and if so will am i able to start using the ship at level 50 like the operations pack stated for anyone who buys it.
God, those ships look mostly hideous...
The Romulan ones look nice, (when do they not?) , I wouldn't be caught dead in any of those other ships..
I can only hope Cryptic decides to let us upgrade ships that are more aesthetically pleasing to Tier 6...
I can dream, right?
When do they not? Dhelan, Ha'Pax,Hanom. The spelling is probably quite wrong, but that doesn't negate that they look like a cross between a wombat and a fruit bat. The other looks like a vibrating, adult stimulation toy with wings. Traditional Romulan designs are generally graceful, simple and elegant. These designs have too many sharp juts, too wide or bulky in places. It's alway just a little bit more than necessary with these ship designs. The new Romulan ship that we can see at this point is actually quite decent. I would have let those wing-pylons have a simple line in the front instead of that unnecessary jutting point about midway, but otherwise decent.
This is a load of bullocks, just purchased it and it didn't show any type of discount from the advertised price of 124.99$. If the pack was $150 dollars then it would be $120 after a 20% discount. Somewhere the numbers are not adding up and Im about to have Paypal issue a cancellation of payment over this matter. Seems that PWI only cares about money and misleading advertising.

$125.00 is the discounted price. The price will be 20% higher after October 14th - just as the LoR Pack was.

You cannot use the ships until the Expansion goes live on October 14th.

It most likely means you need to purchase it through the Arc website or Arc client. Once purchased it will be available to claim from the c-store in game and not through Arc. It doesn't matter if you use the Arc client or not after purchase.
I'm still hoping for a true non-hybrid endgame science warbird to be released soon. Common Cryptic, just one warbird (Ha'nom class) with a commander science seat isn't enough!
It actually does make sense if you consider that the upgrades you get are account wide (mentioned in the article explaining upgrading). If you use a token to upgrade a ship on your main toon, all of your alts should be able to upgrade that ship without paying. I would also assume that it is a typo on their part saying once per character, but who knows...
No, it doesn't make sense in that regard if you consider three separate factions and Fleet ships.
As others have said, I assume these "tokens" are going to be either Account Bound or not Bound at all, which would make sense. If they're not though, and a single character gets all three tokens, then it's really poorly thought out.
On a side note, Cryptic, you could have added a better offer than a Talaxian outfit...
IF at any point we gonna get a equal ammount of ships for Rom. / Kling. as well as Fed. i might considre it. But as it stands and i basicly only have 1 Fed and 7 Rom. its kinda a waste.
CMon if you dont wanna release for a Faction or cater to one primarily then dont release other Factions or make some Ships available cross Faction. Unless OC some ppl who develope them cant count to 4
4 cruisers, 3 escorts,... 1 science vessel. Arguably they need more science vessels period.
Yeah they do need a Romulan and KDF science ships in the pack but they also need to balance out the cruiser offerings so all three factions get 2 or 1. That makes the deal even in terms of factions I'd say. As the pack stands now it's not worth the $125 discount or $150 when it goes to full price later on unless you play Federation mostly with all three career paths.
yep we need a rom and kdf sci ship, I have levelled up all my charecters to max so far all sci officers love the look of the Scryer Intel Science Vessel and the eclipse the phantom on the other hand is hideous, looks like the S.C.E has been smoking pot! when designing it
I wonder if these ships will become almost obsolete as quick as the t5 ships from the legacy of Romulus pack? I swear it was such a ridiculously short time between that packs release and the the "Scimitar" just to TRIBBLE off the people that bought the pack
Tron designers have taken over Star trek online, why oh why did they have to design such butt ugly federation ships.
I'm praying to the gaming gods that the Guardian cruiser is a more traditional federation design or at least looks prettier. An may be they will look better ingame.
Cryptic, do yourself a favor and offer us faction-specific packs. Make yourself some more money.
I'm willing to support my faction and the awesome Klingon designs, but I'm not supporting those Fed garbage scows.
I think these are one-off designs, like the Dyson Science Destroyers. If this were a TV series, these ships would appear in one or two episodes and then inexplicably generate an underground fanbase (hello Dauntless).
From what we've seen of the Guardian T6 cruiser, Cryptic hasn't given up on the typical Federation aesthetic.

I think the philosophy is that raiders are a KDF gimmick, warbirds/singularity powers are a Romulan gimmick, and science vessels are a Fed gimmick.
As such, well... It doesn't mean that you won't see sci ships that other factions can fly. We have some of those but they're mostly lockbox/lobi/event ships. Just like the only non-KDF raider. And that the same will be true if we ever get singularity ships that KDF or Feds can fly.
What the hell is wrong with PWE's marketing team? There's a big "DELTA PACK NOW AVAILABLE" image in the launcher, when in fact it actually isn't available yet.
Better add "FOR PREORDER" on that image to avoid confusing players.

Amen to that! We have way too much FED stuff, we have hyper expensive Romulan stuff, now we wantsome good Klingon bundles
anyone else notice what looks like a fighter between the nacelles of the eclipse??
Yeah, I was pointing that out to a friend before. In fact, if you look at the saucer section, it looks like two of them with one stacked on top of the other. It looks like they used the basic Prometheus design, and put a completely different shell on it.
Who knows, you might be able to use the multi vector console on it to separate it. Either way, I really hope that once you get it, they will let you put the Prometheus' warp nacelles on it. I think those will make it look so much better.

Yes, that. Commencing operation now lol

I wasn't sure as I got the LoR pack before Arc. Good to know though, they should really change the wording to just "requires the base game" lol.

THESE ARE ONE OFFS
so if you dont like em, dont buy them, wait for more traditional designs
