Do you really think anyone is going to buy this, when you've just dropped a bombshell about T5-U ships?

Lol, they made it's ensign (T5 version) into a universal one. :D
Everyone is going to make it a tac anyway.

Mirror version has better BOFF layout.

Give then a break on this its a T-3 ship, no higher tier variant, Its nothing but a complete irrelevant ship on the greater scheme of end game things.

Which is exactly why I (and many others I suspect,) won't buy it. T6 ships are right around the corner. They outclass, in every sense of the word, even the T5-U ships. Before the announcement, the Constellation would have been irrelevant, save for people who want to buy it for costuming. Now, its doubly irrelevant.

Um, so basically you're selling it as a a new ship even though it's just a reskin of the heavy cruiser retrofit with a new console? That's it?

Edit: The new skin looks really nice but it should probably be at the most 500 zen.

Why do you think this is anything new? We've had refits in the past and this is no different.

It's a T3 ship folks. Console could become mandatory on ambush escorts.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

It's somewhat different since t6 and t5u ships are around the corner. Meaning, you'll have to pay for the t3 stargazer, then buy a fleet version of the t5 heavy cruiser, and then upgrade that again when delta comes out. Of course, you'd only do that if you want the best version of a stargazer.

Considering how fast you rank up in this game, is a T3 ship really worth selling to people even for the Picard Maneuver it's just not worth it. If it jumps you a "good distance forward" and grants you ambush damage bonus......isn't that counter productive if warps you out of targeting range?

Thank You! I like the addition of more ships, especially canon designs. The console looks interesting as well!

T3 doesn't hurt me or surprise me - it's an older design, so to be expected. Heck, if some of the other canon designs I hope for (New Orleans, etc) ever get made, they'll likely not be end-game ships either. The ability to use the skin on higher tier'd ships is a plus.

I am disappointed there there isn't a Ferengi mind control universal console to come with it. The power could activate a simple 5 second puzzle to activate Abandon Ship on whatever ship you have targeted. :D The ship, although not on of my favorites looks nice from the images but no thank you.

Good as in for putting out a canon ship to the ship roster. Sadly, useless ingame imho. But overall thank you.

Good to see the Constellation make it into the game; I may well be buying this. :)

About the Fleet Heavy Cruiser though... the thing has only got 3 tac powers; I can't think of a good reason to swap one of them out for something else. I get that it was an ensign uni slot you wanted to do, and that that just happened to be where the ensign slot was, but it still seems like a strange choice.

If the Heavy Cruiser Retrofits have a problem, it's that they are too engineering heavy; and don't have enough of either tac or sci. Giving us the option to take away from something it already doesn't have enough of feels kind of pointless. The Mirror Heavy Cruiser Retrofit seems to be pretty well liked compared to the standard versions; there are good reasons for this.

I realise it's really a little late, considering how long this ship has been out; but I'd still urge you to consider rearranging the Boff seating a little.

This is most certainly a golden gift for the RPers and Canon-holics out there, though the tactical possibilities of the Picard Maneuver could be fun.

The ship for the ship itself as something to go into the fighting hierarchy, the PvP hierarchy, well of course it doesn't go there, it isn't meant too.

Thanks Cryptic she looks great and is certainly an iconic vessel.

Nice iconic ship, helpful tweak to the fleets boff configuration and what looks like a rather useful console.

Very happy to see this ship added to the roster.

Wonder how many toons will look like picard with hair soon?

    Simply put, thank you, Cryptic/PWE.

EDIT: After purchasing the ship, I went ahead and assigned my FED ENG Lvl 50 toon to it. (I know it's a T3 ship; higher level players should reskin to the T5 Heavy Cruiser Refit.)

Bug: When exiting a map, only the top two warp nacelles gives the warp-out glow. This is not an issue when performing the Picard Maneuver; all four nacelles glow for that effect.

I thought the ship skin design work was good. However, I didn't like the very small typeface across the primary hull for the ship name (U.S.S. ____) In my case, I named the ship "U.S.S. Stargazer" :)

I took the ship into Crystalline Cataclysm Elite. Personally, it was a pleasurable experience. I managed to engage the CC, as well as close the rifts -- while randomly healing/boosting numerous players. The Picard Maneuver was great for escaping both of the the CC's major energy discharges. Seeing the Stargazer in action... lovely!

I look forward to reskinning a FED Heavy Cruiser Refit with the Stargazer skin.

Besides the warp-out nacelle issue, my only serious gripe right now:
The number of shuttle bays = carrier potential. Even if it's limited to shuttlecraft and runabouts, I'd welcome a future update which allows a shuttle launch console.
