I only show what he does and how he does it, even if he don't like it.

He owes me more than an apology. For slandering me in pretense accusations that I'm slandering him, for following players around in game, for jumping instances to harass me in game, for having to witness and intervene to stop him and his cronies from trolling other players in zone chat and on the ground; he owes me that he keeps away from my threads, keeps away from me in game, doesn't talk to me and otherwise stays away from me as if he had a court-ordered injunction to do so. For his own protection. Because as anyone whose observed our confrontations can attest, I don't spare any punches in this forum, in game, or anywhere else he asks for trouble in. I owe his ilk nothing but will gladly give what their actions call for anytime they ask for it.

I'm saying that with complete sangfroid and utterly free of agitation, being neither this nor prior posts are rants as they will doubtless again falsely try to twist it as. Nor am I autistic or insane, but a free scientific individual with as much freedom to speak my mind as anyone else. He can waste all the time he wants replying as they no doubt will, but 5 minutes spent on them is 5 too many. He does not get to the point, so I will:

You don't like me, I don't like you. You can troll me all you want you won't get anything from me, and I can grind your face into your own dirt every time. That's what you're stuck with, can't say I didn't warn you all those months ago.

Now you can rant away all you like, I won't be listening.

Disclaimer: This post is directed to one person and his collaborators only, regardless of the fleets they're in. Their fleets are in no way representative of any unwholesome actions they choose to engage in, which bring shame upon any fleets they are in and disturb an otherwise great and fun game.

You obviously are bothered by this otherwise you wouldn't take the time to spout all this pseudo-intellectual garbage to try and get one over Dental.

You're trying real hard to project violent power fantasies on someone in a video game. :(

But you know what? I guess it doesn't matter now does it? By being allowed to visit their studios Cryptic has pretty much signed off on you and your fleet haven't they? They've said in deed what most of us have suspected for years. They're not going to stop you. They're not going to correct you. You won. After long last, you really, really won. STO is yours and no one is going to do a thing about it. Congratulations.

Sorry about that. My eyesight is a little blurry this morning.

Mine's like that most of the time, no problem. Thought that looked pretty uncharacteristic given the source. :)

Beg to differ on one point. The speed hasn't increased in a while now, we hit terminal velocity back around Page 4.

    Dude, just shut up.

It was mildly amusing earlier, but now you're really just poking an increasingly irate chained, toothless, clawless bear. And it's really pathetic on both sides.

Also, FYI to everyone on the thread: I have already requested mod attention on this thread. We can only hope that Askray is listening.

See, here's the thing. You're not interested in a debate. You're just here to scream at Dentals about how we're all griefers and need to be banned and blah blah etc. You've proved this time and time again in every previous iteration of this kind of thread. No matter what I write, you're going to resort to more personal attacks like above. I've said my piece already, if you can't take part in rational debate against my points it's your problem I guess.

    Total straw man now.

I've not mentioned the esteemed fleet you mention once in this thread.

I have had, in other threads, entirely cordial conversations with Nabreeki and Orangeitis.

While, in the past, I've disagreed with a position taken by the fleet you mention I've never called for that fleet to be banned.

Seriously, is this the best you can do to deflect the conversation away from the fact that the behavior this thread is about is a TOS violation?

    Pretty weak stuff.

It's a faaaaaaaaaaaaaake! is what it is. Pretend bacon for those whose weak constitutions can't handle the epic magnificence that is the real thing.

No Tofu, Turkey, or whatever other fakery: There can be only one...BACON!

Because while the server can track this information "fairly reliably", the individual clients can't.

It has been said that the client/engine will periodically render a person that's actually ahead of you on the server either side by side with you or slightly behind you. Being that this is not an FPS with 30 player updates each second, and the PvP engine/combat system is less worried about "is the player putting a bullet through where he thinks the other player is" and is more worried about "did player pull trigger when target was in effective cone", we don't realize how "laggy" the engine truly can be...

(and don't forget the whole concept of lolGround...)

Would you like to see, on your screen, you in the "lead" position, however, because of the aforementioned issue you draw a 2nd place award? What would your first reaction be...

Then multiply this by 2 races an hour, over the 30-50 instances of Risa that's active, and, well...

Actually it would still be superior than what we have now which is: You are first but oops you did not slow down enough to get the flag so BAM you are now last. Or you are third but the first place guy was way out infront and is gone. The second place guy is waiting near the second place flag so you think you are second and need to grab it but as you get near it BAM it disappears and the 3rd place flag appears behind you and then you fail to get it and are again last.

This is not even mentioning the other forms of griefing just the standard stuff. Also because where you are in the server is what is more important in reality you should be rewarded or not depending on the reality not your lag. Though I do understand there is a lot of lag and it is an issue.

I don't really see why you consider this idea "twisted". It's simple physics. Matter and energy cannot be created or destroyed. For you to be happy, others must be miserable. For you to have, others must have not. Some particularly hypocritical people like to accomplish their misery at arm's length, making faceless others they can't see miserable for their joy instead, but the more straightforward and honest simply extract it upfront, to your face. How is this somehow more twisted? This is like people who prefer their meat to come in plastic shrink-wrapped packages with someone else doing the dirty work for them instead of a breathing, bleeding animal that they kill and eat.

Honestly... You do not understand physics well enough to be trying to make a cosmology out of it like that... Step away from the Trolls and do some more research. Then do us all a favor and join those who are actually trying to unlock the entire truth about such things and provide some much needed answers! Science: FTW!

But even in a number of religions the idea is to get along and live happily with your brothers and sisters and even world and it is often seen as better to have less than more.

So yeah... Less hate and ignorance and more love and knowledge, GO!

Yes, I can confirm punks are sabotaging the race for other players, you don't have to put a cover shield up, you can stand in the finish spot and nobody gets the finish race popup....

Conservation of energy need not apply.

The economy grows at a rate of about 3% per year. You can have a 3% gain on your investment every year without diminishing what anyone else has and you should still beat inflation because not everyone invests.

The practical level of happiness, satisfaction, achievement is not a fixed zero sum game except in the most ruthless forms of PvP. In general, in PvE, it's not at all a zero sum game because there is no essential scarcity. Cryptic can mint new rewards for everyone who plays and cooperation can be leveraged to increase the amount of total enjoyment or success, which is the point of making a game social rather than purely adversarial.

If you relish misery so much, you could always uninstall every game that isn't EvE from your hard drive and go play that. But you're taking a design philosophy and an ethos that isn't true for STO and, by design, is unintended as a philosophy. If you're practicing this philosophy, the devs would have every right to exclude you for circumventing their design philosophy.

This might come as a surprise to you, as perhaps you spend too much time in the foundry, but tacs cannot deploy cover shields. Just so you know. That screenshot is in no way incriminating in the least, but all you have is yet another "one line wonder."

I am well aware of the abilities of every captain class. The mere presence of said fleet member there does show what happened though. But we all know how you will dance around such accusations and attempt to make those in question innocent. It happens everytime.
