it's a black hole cluster located near the planet kessel - which itself isn't an especially pleasant place to visit - surrounded by a massive nebula and a field of tightly-packed asteroids known as 'the pit'...very dangerous overall - especially given the maw acts as a prison for an entity of pure, destructive chaos known as abeloth (we are going with legends for this, right?)

it's a little more substantial than bars...it's similar to the kinds of rations soldiers of every nation on earth that had the means of supporting a standing army were given during the late 20th/early 21st century all the way up until WW3

but the ship DOES already come with a replicator and several crates packed with fresh ingredients all stored in individually-powered stasis containers

well, what did you expect? they're loaded with chemicals so they can remain shelf-stable for years - among other chemicals for color, flavour 'enhancer' and all sorts of other TRIBBLE, most of which actually had long-term deleterious effects on human biology

at least mine use only the barest of preservatives to keep the food from going stale or bad, and it's all REAL food; just freeze-dried or vacuum-sealed or what have you - it won't be like eating a home-cooked meal, i'll tell you that right now, because despite being real food or ingredients, it IS still processed, but it won't taste like unwashed a.rse either

Briana: I wouldn't say stolen but okay....
"We have no tomorrow, but there's still hope for the future. In our struggle to survive the present, we push the future farther away. Will I see it in my lifetime? Probably not. Which means there's no time to waste. Someday the world will no longer need us. No need for the gun, or the hand to pull the trigger." -Punished Snake
