I was reading one of those Emergency Aid Station signs and I noticed mammalian was spelt "mamillian" and reptilian was spelt "reptillian". I know it's really minor but I thought I'd report it anyway.
Not to Necro a thread but the Spotlight Foundry mission Mayns of Balnar Moon a Spotlight mission has no access point. It's supposed to be accessed from a turbolift by the admiral's office (of which there are four on New Spacedock) to the Shuttlebay, but for all the Turbolifts on Deck 47 it isn't there.
I have to disagree with you. The division stripe always from my eyes looked INTENTIONALLY to be where the division colour should be. Otherwise, why have it. I've also noticed they went the extra mile to make the shoulder colours to establish WHERE the person works. Captains Yim, Sulu and Ford, being starship commanders have White shoulders while our ship based redshirts have coloured shoulders while the ESD personnell have the grey shoulders. Which says two things to me: the shoulders are to ID who works here and who doesn't (which makes asking some random officer who might not work there for help less likely) and then upon getting closer - what division they are. So the design says "(from 100 ft away) Oh! That guy works here, I should ask him for directions." "(From 10 ft away) Oh! He works in Engineering!"
I understand that and it would be logical, but I don't see that working so well. Primarily because the colors on the border are still SO DARK.
It's a pretty jarring turnaround for Starfleet overall. If you think about TOS when fully Half the uniform was a bright color and the different assignments were displayed by the badge on their chest.
If you look at say the Sierra uniforms in the basic uniform selection screen in the tailor, it's ALL dark colors. It could just be the design teams taste. A little too X-Men films for me.
When DS9 come we had a new specific uniform used by DS9 personal along with the later TNG uniforms, when Sisko moved to work on Starfleet Command he switched uniforms to the later TNG Uniform.
Of course Voyager used the same DS9 Uniform with the new combadge used on late DS9/TNG Movies.
There is really not much way to rationalize this, the "grey shoulder" as you call are in the late DS9/TNG uniforms, in the novels there was a evolution were the blue-grey shoulders became white, DS9 earlier/Voyager uniform were 3 tones but division color was in the shoulders and the grey was in the turtleneck and Voyager use of that uniform kinda makes confusing since Voyager was a starship and not a starbase.
Plus we do have the Alternative Future and the Relativity uniforms were its very easy to see what division that person belongs, having the division color on the stripe isnt as straightforward as it was, we back at late DS9/TNG uniforms were its harder to see at a distance.
A good history lesson.
To dip in to this, It appeared without knowledge of intention that the DS9 style uniform was being phased in over time. Note that during the course of Star Trek Generations the crew started out in the TNG uniform and shifted into the DS/Voy uniform over the course of the film. It could be that it was a uniform that was being tested at remote outposts before being shifted to the fleet as a whole.
Starfleet can keep uniforms for a long time and shift rapidly. The idea that any of the uniforms we've seen would be locked out of canon forever seems a bit silly.
We had the wrath of Khan style uniform for some fifty years. From the 2340-2350s the uniform was the Wrath uniform without the shirt. Then you went through the TNG years which changed to a second version in the third season so say that's the 2360s version. Then came the 2370s and the DS9/VOY uniform, then the Dominion War grey uniform. The Destiny White shoulder Uniform is supposed to build off of that in the early 2380s, then the Countdown uniform evolves from that in the late 2380s. All Good Things was in around 2395 and the same uniform was reused in 2404 for Endgame. Which brings us to the 2409 period, with our Sierra, Antares, Jupiter, and Odyssey uniforms.
The only discrepancy is that Geordi La Forge wore the Dominion War uniform with the All Good Things combade, but in Timeless in 2390 while commanding the Challenger. That is a retcon production mistake as Countdown and JJ Trek wasn't even a twinkle in anyone's eye back then, so the Countdown uniform hadn't even been considered.
There's lots of room and it works out nicely if you consider that Starfleet changes their uniforms approximately once per decade in this TNG era.

I don't believe you can necro an official feedback thread.
Bugs that I have noted specific to ESD and it's space map since the latest patch on Tribble;
- Doctors office floor
A remaining LOD defect on the floor in front of the doctor's desk.
- Faint Biobed displays
Faint when looked at directly but dark and clearly defined when looked at at an angle. Could these panels be reversed?
- Jagged Artwork
Anti-aliasing doesn't smooth out these graphics.
- Cut off Text
The letter S in TRADERS is cut off.
- Lieutenant Commander Arut's Delusion
She is still busy tapping away at an invisible wall console. Is it wise for this person to be allowed near firearms?
- Commander Menn Hilo needs Work
He seems rather at a loss for something to do. The character is currently no longer interactable.
- Such is Space
We still have our sparse star field with it's paint spatter stars and for some reason one of the space dock's doors is stuck open, most likely due to the U.S.S. Sovereign parked so close by.
If something is not broken, don't fix it, if it is broken, don't leave it broken.

I have noticed that at some point they've added a improved surface image to the Earth model in the space map that has better detail and reflection mapping.

Personally, I think the new design is beautiful. It is far superior in looks to the old one. I very much enjoy just walking around in it not even doing anything. I think the design and look are so well done that the team behind it should win awards.
