Storage Slot Increase

We will be increasing the number of main inventory slots, and the number of character bank slots for all Captains. This is a free increase for all existing (and future) characters that will take effect when this week’s patch goes live.

    Welp, if i am going to criticise when things are done badly, I must praise when they are done well.

    Nice news indeed, I appreciate the free slots in combination with the ability to buy more.

    A good mix of necessary monetarisation and player appreciation.

    Thank you Cryptic for the increased storage space. It'll be good to have on all of my characters.

    The first few lines of my inventory have been used as temporary bank slots so this is going to help alot, Thanks Guys.

    But I just got myself used to utilizing less spots.... No! Change it back! :D
    STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.

    This'll be huge help to some of my characters who just plain couldn't dump enough inventory to make quick-equip useable more than a few times in succession. I'm sure this is also a huge boost to loadout changing.

    Everybody wins with this one.

    Heh, it's kind of funny - because I was thinking the same thing (same joking manner of course, but the same thing)...

    Course, I've got stuff spread out across eight toons, their various ships, the account bank slots, and multiple fleet bank slots (lol, used to have multiple fleets)...so maybe I really haven't gotten to the point of utilizing less spots...heh.

    Please reconsider ARC. Please make it optional, at the least. PLEASE.
    It seems the vast majority of your most active players (forum regulars) hate the idea... and while that's a small subset of the playerbase, I think it's an important constituency.
    THE PLAYERS DO NOT WANT THIS.

    Nice change, my main inventory is usually filled with particle trace and data samples. Wish they'd get removed from the inventory though...

    Wait, what? We're getting someting free of charge? No grind or anything?

    Wow, that's some good news for a change.

    Unless, of course, Cryptic is planning to introduce some new item type to fill all those slots immediatelly... ;) Crafting-related perhaps?

    Still, that's some good news. Especially when it comes to Bank Slots.


    Btw. any plans to increase a total Account Bank slot limit?
