Its not a spam torp, it has to be used strategically to get the big hit.
If it hits a shield, you will only get impact damage, but if it hits hull then the sentient part of the torpedo will detonate the tricobalt and you will get the biggest explosion in the game. The antiproton is for the AI to try and lower the target's shield. If you get the shield down through other means, the torp wil fly to it and detonate without waiting. If you just throw it at a target that sitll has shields, it will shoot the shields before eventually ramming, maybe with shields up maybe with shields down.

I purchased the Mogh Battle Cruiser for my Ferasan. When he gets to level 50 I'm getting a fleet version and I might put the warhead in the 5th fore weapon slot. Why? Because I'm Batman!

You can use both ships on Romulans. I will use the consul from the Fed ship on my Romulan. That is why your are allied with either KDF or Fed.

My only complaint is there used to be a web store where you could claim account wide unlocks regardless of a character's level. I have other accounts with low level toons that can't claim these ships. Not sure I have time to level them up. Oh well, thanks anyway Cryptic.

I liked the design as it reminded me of the Progen ships from Earth and Beyond. And that character Mafia Don is based on a character I made for that game when it was live.
Now I can finally put the finally piece into place for that alt.
Thanks for the freebies. Just wish I could of claimed the KDF ship but it won't let you even claim the ship unless you are level 20. I even made a KDF for it just to claim it for usage when I get a few extra character slots available by deleting one of my feds. Oh, well thanks anyway for the fed one that my lvl 10 rom was able to claim.
Yea, not being able to actually claim the ships sucked. I even popped my xp boost and rushed to 18 as the server went down trying to be able to get it.
If only they held off for an half hour I could of got the ship, I really wanted it.
I was desperately trying to level my Klingon alt I was at 15 lieutenant commander this morning but had to work , when I got home I managed to level to 19 lieutenant commander.
I was halfway through the next mission but then the server maintenance came down , so I missed out , my federation alt got the saber ,the bridges, and the acid horta but it only had to be level 10 to get it , and you originally said we had till 10 am pst to get it .

Yeah, i just left my klingon on level 13. Coudnt get any furhter. Klingon episodes are stupidly long, you need textra time to do almost everything, and you need to travel to go anywhere lol, you cant just teleport to the surface of Q'onos or the shipyard, thats really stupid. with no sense at all. I imagined something like that, for some comments i heard, but im not going to create another klingon toon anytime soon xD. What a horrible experience lol. So back to my 2 feds. I was complaining about fed time ago, but now, i love em, in comparison with the klingon road to level 50.
With my fed toon, i leveled to 20 in just less than 1 day. With a klingon toon, its impossible lol. Well, after maintenance time to delete my just created klingon char and continue with my feds.

As all you should know, i needed to sleep for 10 hours while you all guys of the western zone were playing, just before the maintenance, only to have about 1,5 -2 hours before they started the maintenance. So, in the end, i didnt have time, on the opposite with my western colleages. So the western guys had all the time in the world, we didnt. But well, this is the way cryptic does things, unfortunately.

Er, yes we do. The anniversary is a ship (3 ships to be more precise - KDF, FED and ROM) which can be earned over the 25 days of the anniversary event.
This give-away is just prior to the (hence PRE) anniversary.
Do we really know what other things they have planned for the 25 days of the grind. We don't. And certainly I know with PRE means, that was not the point other than that is what they had offered before the Anniversary. Who knows, they may have Lobi Store sales, extra bonus ZEN in their packages, etc. We don't know for sure. They have the C-Store Ship Packs to officially announce with specifics.
If there is nothing more (apologies to V'Ger) I am sure that they will say so.

You can continue with the giveaway event after the maintenance, but cryptic just decided to avoid it, and to keep it out of problems. They say "it would be best to claim your items", they dont say you CANT claim em after the maintenance , because they clearly stated that once the maintenance is over, the giveaway event is over too. U got it now??

+1 to this. I have played several other MMO games. This is the ONLY one that constantly gives away free premium items. Also it is the only MMO i have played where the players can EARN premium currency either from the Dil exchange or from peanut labs.
The problem is like this game, Whinging is also free and people like to winge by nature. If i was to post what i really thought of these ungrateful Bar Stewards, im sure it would be deleted.

I claimed them yesterday. At the time, I was thinking "Hey, why are you doing this when you could be fighting the Borg? You can get it tomorrow!"
Turns out, the little voice was wrong, I'm glad I didn't drop it and go fight the Borg now, I'd have missed it too.
