Two days in a row of no gear. I'm Romulan and I do not want a Federation or Klingon bridge or ship. If someone says oh Romulan have better traits or all around ships. So what become a Romulan officer.
I really think Cryptic is interested in giving out Romulan goodies. Sadly Cryptic sucks in that area.
You think you guys could put a bit of effort into your website? Being down due to heavy traffic for a half hour every day of this giveaway is ridiculous, and should be solved for next time.
That's unrealistic. You plan your hardware/bandwidth around average peak load. If you planned it around anomalies like several million people hitting F5 10 times a second, you would go broke.
Wait, you're complaining about something free? Guess what, you don't need to get it. Cryptic isn't requiring anyone to get these free items at all. So, here's a suggestion: stop whining.
I really dunno what they expect, cryptic will NEVER give away a T5 / 2500+ zen ship. Maybe they will in the last day, but only maybe and its a long shot..
Besides, as we said time ago, they will give away items that they are not selling. I hope im wrong for the last day. Its always about gaining more money or in this case, not losing at all. But its still a free item, i still dont get why people complains so much about free stuff.
They should be complaining about everything that is free in-game then..
I have a doubt, if i create now a klingon toon, can i claim the ship now?? or do i need to level up?

If you have a Klingon Character at level 50, you can claim it on that character and all subsequent characters will get it. The minimum Level required for the ship (to use) is Commander.

That is what you get for being a romulan. Honestly i think Romulans are already filled with great ships, consoles and a huge etc. Federation players are the most needed, almost that is what i think, and thats the reason cryptic (i guess) is putting more efforts on fed and klingon.
But still, maybe you have a surprise in the last day, maybe the great item awards for romulan players but you need to be patient, who knows.

For those complaining about the lack of a Rommie ship, let's get real for a sec. Unless you have a character in the appropriate level range you're not gonna use the ship anyway. At best you'll swipe the console and use it somewhere else.
So what good is a level 10 or 20 ship unless you have a Romulan in that level range? And even if you do, how long do you expect them to be in that level range? Not very long, which means a very limited use. While the extra ship is nice, for 90% of us it's all about the console, which Romulans can use too.
Chances are the Romulan ships are still selling pretty well, and they're just not going to give away stuff that people are buying.

Nice, so now I'm at 4/5 from this anniversary. Didn't have these ships yet and they will be a wellcomed adition in my roster.
I love them, especially that SuQob class - is mighy fine looking, you need to consider making a fleet version of that one! And the bio-neural....oh my, I sense a disturbance in the force! :P

All they said that I saw was that they would be doing a giveaway from Monday to Wednesday, would be C-store account-wide unlocks, and would not be the same items as the previous giveaway. I saw nowhere where they said "This includes Romulan specific content as well", only that they didn't say like last time that there wouldn't be any Romulan specific content.
Again I already had this, third day and it's another giveaway that I already have. Not that I don't like it because if I didn't it's a welcome gift to those who don't have it, don't get me wrong here.....

Edit: To answer your question you need to level up first to the appropriate level before claiming it.
