Judgeing by the responses i got in the announcement thread on a similar problem, you are just dumb...

No worries though: We are dumb together... And being dumb together is much more fun than being it alone.
Don't look silly... Don't call it the "Z-Store/Zen Store"...
Let me put the rumors to rest: it's definitely still the C-Store (Cryptic Store) It just takes ZEN.

Really cool but what a shame they are Off Duty outfits. Becomes an instant waste of space. I'd have love to have used a few of the parts on my BOFF characters.

Hate to tell you this Branflakes, but this isn't an account wide unlock. I unlocked it on one of my characters, then logged out of arc. when I logged back in via the normal sto client, I didn't have access to the uniform.

According to some, you lose access to the uniform if you are no longer running arc. Not cool.

If I continue to use Arc (unlikely), then I will still be able to claim these on any new character (unless that gets turned off when Arc leaves Beta). But why not just make it an account unlock, to stop people with 30 characters having to spend an hour logging in to each character just to get them.

Heck, the in-game mail says it's account wide despite it clearly NOT being account wide.

If you can't solve it logically, solve it like a moron.

51 + 1 Foundry Character Slots is NOT enough. Some of us love our characters. If I want to buy more character slots, why can't I? I couldn't experience the entire Delta Recruitment event without deleting a character.

The Iconians themselves can't time travel because their memories revert, but there is nothing to say an Iconian couldn't write everything she needed to do on a PADD, pin it to herself, travel back, read the PADD, do the tasks and return. Or just get one of her Non-Herald underlings to go back in time for her.

Want a Star Trek themed starship command fan-made Board Game that isn't fiendishly complicated but not so easy it's a joke? Download mine for free here. https://roebot56.deviantart.com/art/BOARD-GAME-R56-s-Starship-Command-STAR-TREK-Edn-682732468 A Stargate version of the game is available from a link in the description.

Oh yeah, I do Foundry missions for both KDFs and Feds. Just search KSTF (Short for Kinas Special Task Force, where Kinas is the name of the Admiral you will be serving under). The earlier ones are less story based and more combat based, while the later ones have a much heavier story element, but keep the large battles.

Surely not to gin up some login stats for Arc. Surely.

Well they are now trying to bribe players to download the ARC client. The new Kahn outfit looks good, BUT it is off duty so only your toon can wear it.

Well for those of us who were around when the Cryptic/PWE accounts were merged we know whats coming. For those that weren't heres the heads up.

This is what happened back then.

first we had the option of merging our accounts and we were told it wont be mandatory, Just like ARC

After they realized that very few people were merging the accounts they started to bribe people to merge them by giving out a few goodies. (Some Dilithium and a couple of weapons as the reward.) Now ARC is giving out this Kahn outfit. Sound familiar anyone?

If they follow the pattern as the last time. in about 2 months or so Will be the announcement that ARC will be mandatory and after such and such a date you will not be able to log in using the launcher. BUT you can still claim the Kahn outfit as a reward for using ARC. Which is what they did with the accounts merging.

So ready or not HERE COMES ARC!

way to go PWE I love this

Not true, its unlocked when you get the mail.

Problem is mail given per character, meaning you have to switch to every character you have in order to be unlocked in all of them.

not true, read the e-mail it is a account wide unlock

I got this same message on Tribble about a month ago. Been using ARC for a while now. But being Tribble, of course the uniform option was nowhere to be found. Being Tribble I just forgot about it. No big deal.

Today I got the exact same message on Holodeck and once again tried to use the uniform. Bran, the uniform shown in your photos does not even show up on the tailor. I have tried looking throughout the options. It simply is not there.

u need to go to head option then u will have in right upper conor uniform button u press on it and take of duity uniform and u have it just have to equip it

Just logged out of arc then back into sto on a character I didn't unlock Khan's uniform on. It may be account wide, but only while you are logged into ARC.

Just because it works for you it doesn?t mean it works for everyone. I cannot buy ZEN while using ARC and find ARC very cluttered. Its inferior to the steam interface and I see no reason to use ARC.

All ARC does it makes my STO experience worse while providing zero benefit. Call us haters if you like but it doesn't change the fact ARC is making the STO experience worse for a lot of players and causing problems. The ZEN problem alone makes ARC useless for me.

1)did you look under off duty?
2)If you have and still dont see it, have you logged off, closed arc, reopened arc and logged back in?

    KHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNN!!!!!!!!!!!

*sniff* Okay, glad that's out of my system. I really have to hand it to Cryptic though, this was brilliant. Twisted and underhanded, but brilliant nothingless.

That being said I am a devout Steam user, and I see no reason for that to change, but I will at least try Arc now, as nasty as the rumours might be.

Sorry Brandon, but it's not an account-wide unlock.

Got Arc with Neverwinter, so I logged into STO with it, got the email for that character, checked out the outfit in the tailor, changed to one of my other toons and got the email there too, did it with a third toon and got the mail there as well.

I then logged off, killed Arc (task manager), logged back in with the regular launcher, checked out the three toons I had logged into earlier and they all had the outfit available, but when I checked my other three toons (got 6 in total) they didn't have the outfit, I'm going to have to log back in with Arc to unlock it for those three.

and this is exactly the sort of feedback they need, because yeah, there is no bloody point in a product if all it does it keep people from being able to use their product.

while this is nice, it is nice to mention that it is a costume that is for off duty, however it unlocks a new hair style for both genders and useable in duty and off duty.

My only request (brandflakes please send this up the chain), any chance we can get a version of it without the shredded jacket. I mean, I like the jacket, its cool and all, but the idea of having just the undershirt for female characters, its hard to see it under the jacket, but it would be nice to have a nice new sexy shirt, even if it is for off duty. Also while were at it, any chance we can get some off duty skirts as well, besides the long robe/dresses.

I only mention this because this undershirt by itself would be great to run around on Risa especially during the summer event, and would look great with those summer event shorts and shades.
