^If you can, download the image. When I tried to access it when I wasn't signed in, I got a blank page too. But when I downloaded the image, it was fine.

Thank you, I had most of them, but some were quite challenging.

I believe I know what's coming. On February 8th, this "fugitive" is going to release a foundry mission (or series) in which we are meant to hunt down several of the unaccounted for fugitives of facility 4028. Including possibly several Children of Khan and/or Moriarty. This mission (or series) will be released in a "beta" form.

Yeah, that was my thought as well.

I bet 100,000 EC he's going to deny it or tell me I'm wrong.

Edit: I'm also going to guess that Taris might be involved somehow.

Actually, my first thought for "Fallen Tal Shiar Officer" was Taris (since she fell from her "glory"). But it didn't fit.

Well Hakeev is dead, Taris was his captain at one point, they both have connections with the Elachi/Iconians, and Taris was at 4028. Logical conclusion: There's a good chance Taris will be in the mission/series.

Yeah, that was my thought as well.

I don't mind who's releasing it. But after all this teasing buildup, it better be good.
If they manage to bring all those storylines together, it'll be star trek's twin peaks...

Just wondering why they revamped the klingon augment missions and released Khan uniforms...

One of you enterprising young men and women has posted a solution to challenge #6 via the Reddit site (http://www.reddit.com/r/sto/comments/1wwwqb/a_new_puzzle_and_a_new_hint_from_stofugitive/cf6novs)

    Their solution: http://i.imgur.com/ePJGBqS.jpg

This means that you now have the chance to uncover the embedded clue:

    > The first clue element in puzzle #6 is an unfortunate one if you suffer from triskaidekaphobia.

    > The second clue element in puzzle #6 has something in common with me.

    > The third clue element in puzzle #6 can only be seen in isolation.

    So maybe........"anniversary," "fugitive", and "asylum?"

Although the second one could be "Moriarty" or even "traitor."

I am reasonably confident this is just a random person, and it will end in a foundry mission or series.

Kudos to him for getting people interested though. The mission better be worth the wait.

More likely than not. I do hope that it's good though. It seems like I've already played all the good foundry missions, and he's certainly had enough time to make this good.

    5 of 12: Arik Soong

Arik has a letter in common with fugitive in the crossword. And is a prisoner.
Soong and his 'children' were always alone, isolated, ...
Arik Soong is the ancestor of Data, and thus of Moriarty.

could be wrong but 28 across, is "TKon" and is 5 characters wide? how does your brilliance cover that one?

    Quite easily explained actually : T ' K O N would be five characters.

Their empire has been referred to as either Tkon or T'kon in various literature over the centuries.

    5 Down: Terradome
    11 Across: Contraband
23 Accross: Non-disclosure (like T'kon and B'vat they included a typographical mark, the dash, in this one)
    17 Across: Corbomite http://en.memory-alpha.org/wiki/Corbomite

Apart from the ones I missed, that's what I got as well.

But our fugitive needs to go and rewatch DS9 since Kai Opaka didn't lose her title by dying, she lost it when she couldn't come back from that planet (so Bajor needed a new Kai). And the Kosst Amojan was the prized possession that was lost, not the one who lost anything.....

Technically Opaka did die. That's why the nanites on the planet resuscitated her. And in turn why she could not leave the planet.

Yes, but she lost her title because she couldn't leave the planet, not because she died. But it doesn't really matter either way.

Yes it does. If she didn't die on that planet, she could have left like the rest of the away team did. He death is the root cause of her give up her title.

She lost her title because she died and couldn't return. Now whether she could have kept her title despite still being 'dead' upon return if for some reason she was able to is something else all together.

It would depend on the Bajoran belief of Soul and whether Opaka by dieing but being ressurected was something that resulted in her losing her soul and being just a bodily shell of the former Kai.

But this is a deeper question of existentialism that really hasn't got her place here.
In all practicality Opaka is dead. She died and is physically kept from going back to Bajor. She died and is now living a new life.

A team of your foundry workers was required in order to decode the contents of puzzle #7.

Another enterprising chap managed a similar feat and provided a picture of his results: http://i.imgur.com/Xy6VfNV.jpg

    ***************************

Now it is time for you to decipher each of the four clues within the exposed grid.

9 of 12 can be found while sipping tea, looking out at the Tyrrhenian Sea while caught between illegality and a cold place.

1 of 12 comes from a non-alkaline substance with illicit and yet mercantile connections.

7 of 12 is a sword through the Preserved heart of a murdererous ghost.

4 of 12 was at home where the ship's Cook indulged in somewhat horticultural pursuits.

9 of 12: disclosure resequencing (guessing is reference to final scene bobw-II and word between contraband and Andoria)
    7 of 12: scimitar Tain
    1 of 12: contraband DNA
    4 of 12: boothby terradome
