IT BURNS!
Sorry... not really a fan of that particular one. Just does not look right to me.
I guess I'm in the "Less said about it the better" camp on this one. Get back to me when the TNG badges actually adjust position to match larger bust sizes on female characters and not clip.
...talking to players is like being a mall Santa. Everyone immediately wants to tell you all of the things they want, and you are absolutely powerless to deliver 99% of them.
I fully support this. The whole breaking down of cultural barriers be them nationalistic, racial, cultural, religious, or gender-based is a core ethos in Star Trek. That's the spirit which inspired the creation of that uniform to begin with, and it belongs in the list of choices.
Yes, many people with modern sensibilities will find it appalling or tasteless, and so be it. Star Trek is supposed to be about a time where society has gotten past such attitudes.
Let's see that envelope get pushed.
This. Million times.
Wouldn't wear it, but there are people who totally would. More power to them.

I wouldn't wear it. Not because I have an irrational fear of garments without inseams, rather because it's ugly. Adding a belt would go a long way toward fixing this look, but what it really needs is to be longer and pleated to make it more like a kilt. Kilts evolved to be practical, the skant derives its lineage from fashion miniskirts.
I'm down for it. I'll never use it, personally, but that thing is so iconic in its awkward terribleness that it simply can't not find its way into this game.
Not sure that I'd buy it, or wear it, but I'd like it to be implemented for those who want it.
avoiding answering the question with a proper answer like the quote and others are similar to the same end as well as those who use puns to deflect the question. guys on computers with their preference to straight up dont want to look up that skirt, its as simple as that. the truth is that this costume was a one off no matter how canon it was, it maybe added, but it should remain low on the priority list.
T6 Miranda Hero Ship FTW. Been around since Dec 2010 on STO and bought LTS in Apr 2013 for STO.
That thing, the Dress Uniform, a few of the Off-Duty Outfits (you know the Training suits and such) AND we need the Antedeans and the Selay for the Alien Creator!

Personally I'd rather not see this one in-game... I try to keep a semblance of sanity. O.o
But it's canon!
So is this.

That was so hilarious.

I fail to see the downside.
Doesn't want to talk about?!!!?!!
You have NO idea how much the Skant comes up in conversations around the office.
All the more reason to do it!!!
How 'bout we add the dress uniforms with the stockinged legs too? Bundle them together and call it a TNG costume variants pack! :P
I support this, and would buy it!
I don't care about the cost, I would buy it
I would trade a T5 Akira for it
I've been able to get pretty close to that with the alien tailor options.
But there's already a tier 5 Akira...
Support 90 degree arc limitation on BFaW! Save our ships from looking like flying disco balls of dumb!
I mean my Tier 5 Akira
I Support Disco | Disco is Love | Disco is Life
Seriously, I would buy the Skant just to say I got one. And I'm all for TNG style dress uniforms.
Burn it! BURN IT WITH FIRE!!!
Do not support.
Now I need to go wash my eyes....

Kilts for Dress Uniforms ala Scotty in TOS.
